TBP’s RECORD MONTH

We had a record month, despite the tragic loss of Smokey. We had 211,000 visitors in March. That was a 30% increase over January and February. We are getting a lot of new visitors, as the number of unique visitors went up by 35%. You can see that on the days when I post a featured article, the visitor counts go sky high. Another interesting statistic is that the average visitor spends over 6 minutes on the site, with 9% of visitors staying for longer than 30 minutes at a time. You know who you are.

Thanks for your continued support and don’t forget to click “you know what”.

Great stuff, Jim and well done. I’m sure a lot of this are re-posting stuff here elsewhere.

What the hell happened on 3/14? Thought it might be Fukashima but that started 3/11.

Congratulations!

Admin-That’s no surprise-your 4th Turning articles kick ass. Even without knowing the details, I think a lot of folks just “feel” they make sense. A buddy at work turned me on to “Boomers-Your Crisis has Arrived” from Financial Sense a couple years ago. Followed you at FS, till I finally wised up & googled your name. That’s how I found TBP. Lucky for you, lol. I was about # 4,000 when I signed up.

I’m just happy to be here. I start and end my days on TBP, and steal time during the day (like now) to check in. I read ZH every day as well, but much of the technical financial stuff goes over my head.

Jim, your work is vital and much appreciated. This may be the most vibrant site anywhere.

It’s because TBP rocks the hiznouse… Nowhere on the web quite like it.

I’ve lurked for a long time and have had a window open on the laptop or phone while I go about the day.

Great posts and great interaction with the authors of said posts make great reasons to pop in and comment daily.

It’s the heroin of the web. More will be hooked when they “just try it”.

You (we) need to figure out a way to increase the average time visitors spend here. 6 minutes?? Bunch of damn pussies. You need some porn links here, simple as that.

Do your “stats” show someone here 20 hours a day? (That would be me … despite the lack of T&A).

Nicely done, Jim.

If I had me some of that at home I’d only be here six minutes a day also.

Admin.,

I like your other articles better than the Fourth Turning rants, as I am already onboard. But many who can’t see farther than their next paycheck, these articles take them into the future that is the new reality, which is not pretty, and going to be grim for some period of time.

TBP,

Remeber folks, this is Walmarts busiest day for the FSA army to go shopping.

Colma,

Thank you for getting your speaker board rewired, as now I can understand you. How is the new business plan coming. The TBP members want to be invited on the first “shake down cruise”.
I think you should consider naming DOS BOAT, “OH, BABY”.

Stucky

If Mrs. Freud reads that last comment you made (“If I had me some of that at home I’d only be here six minutes a day also”), you are in deep doo-doo.

Well done. It’s a fun site, for both learning and participating. Your Wild West, Libertarian approach is paying off and should continue to do so.

Admin – I prefer brunettes. :-)… and my hand would be higher …

On a more serious note, that is good news, I hope the monetization success continues for you.
