You know, I’ve been thinking of irony of it all… Prophet generations (Boomers) overthrow the ideals of Civic generations (G.I.’s), only to then have Civic generations (Millennials) overthrow the Prophet gen (Boomer) ideals.
Wonder what they’ll think in the next 2T/Awakening, when a whole new generation of Prophet/Idealists overthrow the ideals that Millennials will put in place this 4T.
I just hope we make it out of this 4th Turning alive. There are no guarantees of a 1st Turning.

There will be a 1st Turning, but it may not be a “High.” It could be Austerity, esp. if we’re in an atonement cycle. Every 4T brings on predictions of imminent doom, but that is also a trait of Prophet generations. It’s how they deal with the concept that they will die off; they expect the entire world to go with them.
But, you’re right — the U.S. may not even exist by then. Or we may morph into a fascist state like Germany did, but without anyone in the rest of the world to come save us. We don’t know any of that at this point. All we know is that time moves on and Winter will turn into Spring. It may be a very cold, dark Spring, but it will come.
