QUOTE OF THE DAY

There’s a reason that education sucks, and it’s the same reason it will never ever ever be fixed. It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it. Be happy with what you’ve got. Because the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the big, wealthy, business interests that control all things and make the big decisions.

Forget the politicians, they’re irrelevant.

Politicians are put there to give you that idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations, and they’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, and the City Halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.

They’ve got you by the balls.

They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want—they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interest. You know something, they don’t want people that are smart enough to sit around their kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago.

They don’t want that, you know what they want?

They want obedient workers, obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.

And now they’re coming for your social security money.

They want your fucking retirement money; they want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later because they own this fucking place. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it! You and I are not in the Big Club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you in the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to believe, what to think and what to buy.

The table is tilted folks, the game is rigged.

Nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard working people, white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard working people continue, these are people of modest means, continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don’t give a fuck about them. They don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t give a fuck about…give a fuck about you! They don’t care about you at all, at all, at all.

And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.

That’s what the owners count on, the fact that Americans are and will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth, it’s called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Grandparents teach your grand children well. Take the quality time with them that you didn’t take with your children because you were out making money. Teach them how to develop a conscience and use it; the primary engine of critical thinking. Teach them how to read correctly and the importance of reading good literature and history. Teach them how to write correctly and practice cursive writing. Teach them how to listen and how to speak. Teach them numbers and how to use them.

We failed to teach our children well; leaving the task up to the State who could only produce automations that follow directions without conscience. We neglected our children in favor of ourselves. We thought the wealth we were after was enough. The lesson in this thought is that wealth is not enough by itself. But we don’t have to neglect our grand children because we have all the time in the world. And we can teach our grand children well; that will secure their future and the future of our country.

He’s right.

Where is the outrage over this latest bill? Hey, First Amendment, been nice knowin’ ya!

The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347 late Monday, a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. Under the act, the government is also given the power to bring charges against Americans engaged in political protest anywhere in the country.

Hey, all you preppers! You collecting rain water from your property? Fuck off, you are CRIMINALS!

.
Yeah, who gives a shit. Then again, it’s pretty damn hard to keep up with this shit considering our government adds on average one new federal crime per week.

Goddammit. We really need to bomb Iran or Syria pretty soon.

“Goddammit. We really need to bomb Iran or Syria pretty soon.”

If we do go to war, I hope many Americans die.

Stucky, you’re making me want to throw in the towel… if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. Maybe I should run for office, just to be sure I can protect myself & my family from all this. It’s the only way to ensure freedom is maintained.

Right?

Or maybe we should all be like the Pauls and step up to serve, bringing some logic and reality back to Washington.

Stucky

We’re fucked. There is no way around that fact.

Don’t throw in the towel. They come in handy if you want to waterboard the fuckers who ruined this country. Try to take out at least 10 of ’em.

Stucky: The passing of arbitrary laws with no moral foundation as you point out above are the reason we need to teach our grand children to have a conscience. Many of our children don’t have a conscience so they are incapable of making laws or understanding them in the light of how they violate human rights. Without conscience people cannot discern between right and wrong. Without conscience people become automations that respond to instructions. New positive law is designed to instruct and the only way it works is when people are trained to respond without question. The only way to get people to respond without question is for people to lose their conscience or never develop one in the first place. And this is the basics of public education; teaching for response; not critical thinking.

Do you see how every law, rule, or regulation made up by our elected & non-elected officials cannot be challenged by the people? How can a free people live under this type of law and call themselves free? They cannot. And without a developed conscience to weigh this, people are enslaved under a system of masters commanding slaves. It is that simple Stucky. You are a slave under this system of positive law. How does that make you feel? Have you thought about returning to your parents homeland? Or is that place just as bad?

Wow, this really resonates with me. Had Carlin lived a few more years his head would have exploded. Or he would be in Gitmo. He saw so much, so early. He is my hero.

Carlin dying right before TSHTF seems to be some sort of divine intervention to protect his soul.

And brings to mind my mom’s passing.

Some of you know that my mom had mental issues. Years ago (’92? ’93?), she went to work for a county sheriff’s office typing up the daily police report. My mom saw the world through a set of godly, rose-colored, glasses. It didn’t take a couple months of being forced to face the reality of the human animal (and this was in a rural county) for it to totally blow her mind. My dad got me to help him have her forcibly committed to save her life (her blood pressure was off the charts – they actually thought she was going to stroke out). She “recovered” and things returned to (her) normal. She died on July 1, 2001. Her illness and death started to open my eyes to many “truths” that aren’t.

Had mom lived, 9-11 would have sent her to crazyville permanently. There was just no way she could have ever mentally handled that situation. I know it.

Now I’m wondering about Carlin. Could he have handled it when the truth of his long-held beliefs smacked him in the face?

I know there are days that I have one helluva hard time processing this shit.

I am less a slave than most because I just don’t have a lot of stuff. In fact, by most statistics I would be considered dirt poor. I have what I need to lead a modest life and I don’t want a damn thing more than that.

I have thought about going back to Austria. But, it never amounts to more than just thinking and maybe, on occasion, wishing. I have parents, children, and grandchildren here. No way in hell will I leave them behind. I may not have been born here, but I will die here.

Stucky: Spot on. The less stuff the better. Stuff also makes one a slave to the stuff. The less stuff the better. Wealth is what you make of your opportunities; not in the stuff one collects. In my latter years my enjoyment is in my grand children and in teaching them the real value of life.

Thank you for writing that. I am in the midst of contemplating some life-changing decisions. It is a beautiful thought that I will factor in.
