There’s a reason that education sucks, and it’s the same reason it will never ever ever be fixed. It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it. Be happy with what you’ve got. Because the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the big, wealthy, business interests that control all things and make the big decisions.
Forget the politicians, they’re irrelevant.
Politicians are put there to give you that idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations, and they’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, and the City Halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.
They’ve got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want—they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interest. You know something, they don’t want people that are smart enough to sit around their kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago.
They don’t want that, you know what they want?
They want obedient workers, obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.
And now they’re coming for your social security money.
They want your fucking retirement money; they want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later because they own this fucking place. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it! You and I are not in the Big Club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you in the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to believe, what to think and what to buy.
The table is tilted folks, the game is rigged.
Nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard working people, white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard working people continue, these are people of modest means, continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don’t give a fuck about them. They don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t give a fuck about…give a fuck about you! They don’t care about you at all, at all, at all.
And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.
That’s what the owners count on, the fact that Americans are and will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth, it’s called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.
George Carlin
(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs Group Inc has begun scanning internal emails for the term “muppet” and other evidence that employees referred to clients in derogatory ways, Chief Executive Lloyd Blankfein told partners in a conference call this week, according to people familiar with the call.
The company-wide email review comes after an executive director named Greg Smith resigned last week in a scathing op-ed column in the New York Times in which he said he saw five Goldman managing directors refer to clients as “muppets,” at times over internal email.
In the United States, “muppet” brings to mind lovable puppets such as Kermit the Frog, but in Britain “muppet” is slang for a stupid person.
On the conference call with partners this week, Blankfein said the company was taking Smith’s claims seriously and was conducting a review of his assertions, including the email scan, according to these people.
The bank declined to comment.
It was not clear when the search would be completed or what actions, if any, Goldman would take if the search turns up derogatory comments.
In an internal memo distributed last week, Blankfein and Cohn said Smith’s assertions did not represent the values or culture they try to instill at Goldman, and that they would examine Smith’s issues “carefully.”
In his op-ed, Smith said Goldman’s culture had changed from one that “revolved around teamwork, integrity, a spirit of humility and always doing right by our clients” to one where mistreating clients for profit had become standard, creating a “toxic and destructive” environment. He blamed Blankfein and President Gary Cohn for fostering the supposed changes he described.
Typically, when Goldman employees have an issue with co-workers or processes such as the ones Smith described, they can take concerns to a supervisor or report them anonymously to human resources. Because Smith is no longer at the company and his resignation op-ed did not specify circumstances or people, Goldman has been conducting a broad review to determine whether his assertions are accurate.
Smith’s op-ed was highly unusual because Goldman employees shy away from publicly criticizing the bank, both because it breaks the Goldman code of silence and because of non-disparagement agreements many employees sign that bar them from speaking negatively about the bank.
Greg Smith had better be Mother Teresa during his GS tenure.
They say they are scouring employee emails, but they are really examining Smith’s expense accounts, emails, travel, reports and security film with a fine tooth comb.
Just a matter of time before they have him for Internet child porn, cheating on his expenses, and good old fashioned tax evasion.
Either Smith was very brave – or incredibly naive. He’s a marked man. Goldman will not let their employees give the Firm the middle finger publicly.
He’ll be made an example – to keep all the other employees in line. Just watch.
Mary Malone nails it. A worthy successor to George Carlin!
The faces of EVIL.
What do you mean I’n not in the club?
I’ve been getting fucked by these people for years. That’s part of the mermbership requirements.
True DaveL., but you have been working without benefits and it will stay that way.

As usual, clueless dimwits like yourself can’t even comprehend that student loan debt skyrocketed the second your beloved Federal Government gained control of the whole market.
It’s morons like you that give college education a bad name.

SP 500 and NDX Futures Daily Charts – Appearance Vs. Reality
The political demonstrators of days gone by, when people actually cared about things, assumed a posture of non-violence.
The leadership class of today have adopted a culture of general non-involvement in anything involving what they have agreed or even sworn to do, except collecting enormous paychecks for not doing it, of course.
When anything goes wrong, none of the leaders knows anything and no one is really involved. Money vaporizes, people disappear, things just happen.
A person elected on a reform immediately bring in all the people who created the problem in the first place, and smothers most reform, dealing it away to the renegade business class and their representatives. He prosecutes no one and begins to accept massive campaign contributions from those he was hired to bring to justice, prosecuting no one.
His opponent is actually from that very same predatory hedge fund class, with a penchant for forgetting anything he has ever done in the past, and even denying things that he said just yesterday, where it is not possible to claim non-involvement or some out of body experience.
Its like a very bad sequel of Potergeist, the Political Class.

You know, that’s been the biggest shock for me. I honestly believed that the power-brokers in business and law would close the door and beat the crap out of Obama and his lieutenants – and force them to adhere to the rule of law.
Boy, was I wrong. The ruling class is corrupt to the core.
Mary,
“You know, that’s been the biggest shock for me. I honestly believed that the power-brokers in business and law would close the door and beat the crap out of Obama and his lieutenants – and force them to adhere to the rule of law.”
Your next shock may come from the realization the Joe Sixpack ain’t gonna do it niether.
It bothers me to say that.
