WELFARE WARFARE STATE

When we allocate our tax dollars in the manner below, while taxing the middle class to death, over regulating small businesses out of existence, and borrowing to pay for 34% of the expenditures below, how can this empire possibly be sustained?

Notice how the “other defense civil” increased, while “defense” decreased. Betcha’ the “other” category is defense is homeland based.

You know, I have to call bullshit on this chart (I think we have finally descended into the “pull it out of our assess, the sheep don’t like math” circle of hell), how can HHS SHRINK!?!, when they have added millions of recipients to both food stamps and health care?

How in the fark can we the people keep believing that bullshit is caviar?

This makes me so mad I could spit.

Bastards. They aren’t even pretending to cover up their lies, they know we aren’t paying attention.

The creepily named Homeland Security Dept. has a budget approaching $80B if memory serves, which is far higher than what is shown.

Of course, these numbers are not based on GAAP. If they were, this chart would look very different. Instead of deficits in the $1.3T range, it would be more like $4-5T.

The whole budget is a pack of lies, but what can you expect from people who lie for a living?

HHS is Welfare and Medicaid
SSA is ponzi geezer payments and Medicare

These ponzi schemes are paying money to people who don’t work or contribute anything to this country. The government has no business being in either of these enterprises. The “social safety net” is a joke, and must be done away with. Local people and support can take up the slack. If you didn’t save for retirement, tough shit. If you destroyed your health, tough shit. Why should the rest of us have to pay? Half the money is going to government bureaucracy anyway. Game over.

We are paying for 28,000 permanent troops in S. Korea, and 14,000 troops in Japan. Bases all over the orient. Tens or hundreds of billions of dollars spent to protect Asians who are getting $500 billion of our money in trade deficits every year. Does that make any sense? No, it doesn’t.

Don’t forget Europe, South/Central America, and Africa, AWD. Lots of troops “advising” there as well. We get nothing from this except the bill. None of it makes us safer. Just the opposite.

Take NATO, for example. NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It was established at the onset of the Cold War to counteract Soviet intentions in Western Europe. Did NATO close up shop when the USSR imploded? Of course not. It’s an agency in search of a mission.

So now we have them patrolling the Balkans and Afghanistan. The last time I checked, Afghanistan was nowhere near the North Atlantic.

None of this matters to the out of control bureaucracy. They exist for themselves, not for the people footing the bill.

Good lord, just pull back to to our borders FFS. We can hit them just as easily from Hawaii or Alaska as we can from S. Korea or Japan.

“The HHS spending is a smidge lower because the 99 week brigade has been rolling off the unemployment gravy train by the hundreds of thousands and unemployment payouts are declining”

You know as well as I do, these people are just jumping categories, from HHS to SSA, as they’re all getting on: the gold standard, the holy grail, the Valhalla, the Nirvana of entitlement programs,

Well, I’ll tell you.

SSDI says you are entitled to at least two years “back pay”. I’m not sure how they figure it, because I’ve seen people that never worked a day in their life get $40,000 to $50,000 in back pay in a lump sum check once they’re approved. I’m not kidding. I’ve seen hundreds of people that got on disability over the years. The lawyers get anywhere from 20-50% of the back pay, all for filling a few papers, and maybe showing up in court once or twice. It’s the second largest income generator for scumbag lawyers, just behind tort law (filing lawsuits).

All this disability free shit and gravy train cash has me thinking.

I’ve got a bum knee that got shattered to bits years ago when I got kicked by a horse. So I’ve had to be extra careful when carrying anything as heavy as a 40lb bag of dog food or a bail of hay for a long time. The doctor says I have degenerative arthritis in my neck and really bad in my left shoulder and that’s why I get this pain that can last for weeks and sometimes have trouble with my left hand. They gave me a prescription to help. I checked it out and did a little research. I think I can live with some pain but I don’t see how I’ll manage when the medication destroys my liver and gives me heart failure. The Doc tells me it’s a wonder that my knee functions at all. After the that prescription he gave me I wonder if he’s a doctor.

I wonder if I’m sufficiently fucked up enough to qualify for some of this FSA disability. I suspect not as I don’t need a scooter to get around Walmart, my big toe does not hurt on command, I can’t even make my neck and shoulder hurt on command yet and if my knee hasn’t gone out completely by now it never will. I don’t have headaches, schizophrenia, a bipolar disorder and I’m not depressed. I’m pissed off about some things but “pissed off ” is not on the list.

And then as luck would have it there is nothing wrong with my wife at all. My beautiful Cajun goddess isn’t “high yellow” enough to have the minority advantage. You’d probably have to go back to her grandmother to even hope for that.

Oh well just a thought.

Bruce:

Don’t worry, you qualify. I suggest you file for Disability as soon as possible. They have quite a back log, but to expedite things, they are now taking applications over the phone.

I’ll make you a deal. Once you get your back pay check for $50,000, I’ll just take half, and I’ll take care of all the medical records. You’re a shoe-in.

Then you’re set for life. Free money, free food, free housing, free healthcare and medicine, free cell phone and internet, gas allowance. You can afford a new car (everyone on disability has a brand new car that I’ve seen). You can use your massive SNAP benefits and EBT just about anywhere. You’ll be living the good life. You just have to lie a little bit. The 10 million people on disability can lie better than anyone, anywhere. They’ll be getting money forever right? The government will never go bankrupt because of lazy POS scumbags that just don’t want to have to work anymore.

“Since 2008, the U.S. economy has lost 1.3 million jobs while at the same time 3.6 million more Americans have been added to Social Security’s disability insurance program”

Obama must be proud, Forward!

Obama has increased Welfare spending by 40% since taking office (HHS spending as above), from $775 billion to $975 billion. If he get re-elected he’s stated Welfare spending will surpass $1 trillion per year and keep going higher. Hooray!

Iipoh,

All that free stuff sounds exciting. We own our place and I sure don’t want to move so free housing may be something we have to work on. Maybe I can sell the homestead to my daughter for $10 and she can rent to us for $1000 a month and get the government to pay that for us. We can split the rent money with my daughter and have a big BBQ for everyone in the neighborhood each month. She’s a banker. She specializes in putting telephone poles up peoples ass’s but I’m sure she can come up with an actionable plan.

And maybe we can get the government to send someone around to cut the yard, weed the garden and wash the vehicles. I might need a turbo charged scooter real soon so I can out run the fat people on wheels at wally world.

I think I feel some pain in my shoulder right now. And my neck too. Holy shit even my balls hurt. I’m falling apart. I’m going to make that call first thing in the morning and get all the free shit I see on TV. Can’t wait for that $50,000 lump sum spiff. I’ll buy some gold, lots of ammo and a few more rifles with that so I can go ballistic in style when they cut off all the FS.

This whole world – at least the USA and Europe + Japan and a lot of others — are just a group disaster zone waiting to implode. Every person on SSDI helps it along as far as the USA is concerned.

Charles Hugh Smith’s book “Resistance Revolution Liberation” is a really great analysis of how our best efforts (and self interest) are driving the system to destruction. A little wordy and CHS tends to say the same thing over more than once, but all in all a good read if you are willing to wade through some verbiage to sift out some gems.

As far as the Law Dawg in the above ad, he’s just doing what comes naturally. Trying to make money legally. The Feds and states encourage freeloading to make the general population feel unable to take care of themselves and make them dependent on the state. Dependency then allows the Feds and states to expand in order to “take care” of the people.

No one thinks (much less understands) that “the people” have to work and produce a surplus to finance the Feds and the states. So we are in an ever decreasing circle of less work, less income to the Feds and states through taxes, et al, more Free Shit to more people that leads to the decreasing circle yet again. Won’t work. Can’t work. All we’re doing is eating our seed corn and when that’s gone, guess what? No crop next year! All stop..

What will happen when the Free Shit stops (as it mathematically must), will surely be fun to watch.

Certainly not to live through..
