Re the “machine gun fire”-Hard to tell from video watched from home, but the cyclic rate sounded too slow to me. I suggest the sound could have been a product of chopper noise echoing off buildings, but then, I’m not a sonic engineer. Hard for me to see the point in firing actual machine guns here, especially so few “rounds”.

Just like previous military exercises in places like Boston and St. Louis, there is no reasonable explanation for this bullshit. It’s inexcusable.
Another example of DHS overreach and overreaction in hiding behind the “national security” mantel. TPTB are clearly worried about urban unrest and are trying to bring active duty armed forces into the fold. Won’t work when TSHTF.

There is no reasonable explanation. These pictures are worth more than words because they stir the emotions. These pictures show that the government is willing to turn on the people, or why would they be practicing in our cities? Observe the Syrian civil war to get a picture of what will happen to our cities and towns when the people in this country decide to challenge government authority. When the military is unleashed on the cities everyone suffers.

So, they say foreign urban environment. Where do you think that could be? Not many places are more urban than Miami. Lots of the middle east and north africa cities lack 30+ story structures. Toronto, maybe?
Also, why not just use a simulator, like we do for planes? It would probably be cheaper to build compared to the fuel and everything else helicopters need.

i know this sound in the urban enviroment. definitely weapon report. happened before. this past may 6th – 8th 2012. blanks, flash grenades, black helicopters. . .will continue houston next.

The more you see it the more you “get used to it”. Well, get used to it because it’s coming; just don’t know how long it’s going to be. Could be in a couple of months if Congress does something stupid like more useless gun control, or it could be just after Nov., 2016 when the next election was supposed to occur.

And that is for sure the sound of gun fire and not chopper noise. Some of the choppers traveling the exact same path don’t make the sound at all.

What’s important is that these exercises are even taking place in our urban centers in the first place. Jacksonville Florida JUST got two brand new armored personell trucks and some HumVee’s – courtesy of DHS. I would wager that some serious shit is about to hit the fan.

The army practiced taking over Minneapolis a couple months back. People must really not want to see the truth that is right in front of them everyday. It is amazing how many people are willing to play along, suspend dis-belief and be content as they continue to tell themselves it is all ok.
