One a couple occasions I’ve started a thread just to rant. I appreciate Admin letting me do that. It is that time, again.
A couple weeks ago we order a floor from Home Depot. They send the measuring guy. Fine. They want to charge $80 to transport 10 boxes about 3 miles. I enlist Ms Freuds son and we get it ourselves.
Today the installer comes. He lets us know that if we install the floor the fridge will never fit back in the cubby hole as there isn’t enough clearance for the overhead cabinets. Also, we’ll never be able to remove the stove or dishwasher as the “lip” will prevent it. Also, the wrong padding and wrong trim were ordered. Fuckin A !!!
So, I make two trips to haul everything back. No argument with the material return. We order a new floor. This process took two hours.
I haul all the shit home. Once the boxes are in the house I decide to open one box so I can lay it on the floor to see what it looks like next to the cabinets. IT’S THE WRONG COLOR!!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered light maple. They gave us dark walnut. Fucked in the ass once more.
At 9:30PM we call Home Depot. They fucked up … so I want them to pick up the wrong shit and deliver the new shit at no charge. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!! We had two phones calling. The land line we used to call the customer disservice desk. The cell phone we used to call the flooring dept. They close at 10PM. For 30 minutes no one picked up either phone. Of course, the phone message said over and over “Your phone call is important to us …”. Bull fucking shit you LIARS.
They open at 6AM. Guess where Stucky will be at 6AM? I feel sorry for the Store Manager (not really). There will be HELL to pay. I’m not joking. I might need George Zimmerman’s lawyer.

closesest independent home improvement store is about 15 miles from me so it’s more logical for me to do business with the zionist jews. their prices are very competitive but look in the faces of the associates and tell me if anyone smiles and sais hello. yes i’m racist i hate jews.

THE HOME DEPOT SUCKS!
We ordered, and paid for, a 3 burner gas grill 4 days before Christmas 2014. It was to be shipped from Georgia to Fort Lauderdale, Florida the day after Christmas. Called back today (01/05/2015) and it is just being shipped. Spoke with someone on the phone who seemed to be bothered by our concern about why it was taking so long. One could sense the frustration in her voice as we weren’t blaming her but her sucky company.
We run a new catering service and was depending on Home Depot to ship this product ASAP. I depend on my business to pay my rent & other bills. This is the worst service I ever got from any FORTUNE 500 Corporation. I hope Home Depot ceases to function after this.

Store 0154 is the most racist home depot serving Atlanta Ga. its manager staff which consists of klans men Jeff s. with head klans man Andy hates everything and everyone that’s not white. they have been caught using the N word and no punishment has been taken. manager Rodney is considered the token black guy to add some color in sandy springs, ga but fails to meet company policy. manager Courtney was brought in to fire a hand full of the stores hardest employees for no reason. Home depot wants the public to believe they are about family which is a lie. Managers at 0154 have been seen stealing and continue to steal by using their manager title, this I know for a fact. head cahier Felicia is a black women with dreams of bleaching her skin white and thinks because she has a thick ass that will sercure her spot within the company, Kyle Wade was the best thing to happen to 0154. look in store manager Andy’s eyes n you will see the kkk
I have been shopping in the West Long Branch Home Depot for 22 years. I have never been treated so horrifically or with such blatant disrespect than I had been treated by ‘Joe’, assistant Manager at that store.
I was issued a refund by regional manager ‘Eric’ on December 10th for over $2600. Eric said a hard check would be issued and mailed to my home.
By February, I received nothing.
I called the Home Depot in West Long Branch on February 27th and spoke with ‘Joe’ on the phone. He mumbled and was very rude on the phone AND PRACTICALLY HUNG UP ON ME.
When i went to the store to inquire in person about my $2600 , Joe acted in a sexist and bigoted way, waving his arms and shouting, “We are done here”. I honestly thought he was about to hit me. He is a huge, overweight man and I was in fear for my physical safety when he swung at me.
I immediately called the West Long Branch police, who were ridiculously sexist, and they took his side.
For all of you out there, hear this: You disgusting, sexist behaviors will not go unpunished. You have violated my civil rights by treating me differently because I am a female. Joe would NEVER had taken a swing at a man his own size, he only chose to intimidate me because I am a woman.
Do not EVER shop at any HOME DEPOT. They employ criminals and sexists.
Man, you just suffered from HD’s famous incompetence. I had a real horror experience last fall. We ordered new carpeting from them and they arranged an installer. We spent $8000+ for this. The installers were Mexicans who had zero English. They took 14 hours to install 800 sq. ft. of carpet, made and absolute mess of our home, covered our walnut stair banister with carpet glue, pile all of th stuff we had got out of their way into our bath tub and left. It gets worse…
A few weeks later I pulled out a jewelry tray that resides in the back of a drawer in my dresser. Gone were $12,000 worth of rings – one of which was a rare antique. Also missing was a $6,000 watch. We later found the watch . It had been stuffed into another drawer. I called the police and HD. The police took my report and told me that I’d probably never see the rings again. HD’s response was that they are not responsible for the contractors they hire and I’d have to go to them to get satisfaction. The contractor told me to go pound sand, since I could not prove their guys stole the jewelry. HD said they’d have their corporate investigation folks look into it. I never heard anything, so I called the store manager. He said he didn’t know the status of my case. Then he stopped taking my calls. When I showed up at the store to see him personally, he was always out. Called HD corporate and was told I had to handle this through the store.
The police monitored all of the area’s pawn shops and none of my rings had been put up for sale. They also found that one of the guys who installed my carpet abruptly quit a few days later and returned to Mexico. Their is where my rings would be found.
HD will never get my business again. I’ll stick to Lowe’s which has higher quality products anyway.

Hot bodies… That is what Home Depot and Walmart employees are. The company has no interest in helping them grow in life, they just chuck someone new in for cheap to take the heat. Could you not tell, when you were in the self-checkout line for half an hour watching the 1 employee drop the portable scanner 10 times. Many of the Home Depot staff don’t even have homes, yet you won’t find one Chinese person working there, because they are too busy building the stuff they sell, at astronomical markups!!!
Keep doing it America. Keep selling out to these big foreign companies.
Similar experience here, bought a new riding mower for my in-laws house and since my sister in-law borrowed and lost(fucking how?) The trailer we used HDs free delivery option, they were supposed to call 30 mins prior to delivery so a competent adult could be there…they didn’t and my senile Alzheimer’s ridden father in-law accepted the mower with no questions, it doesn’t start without a jump and shuts itself off after the motor over speeds in idle for about 2 seconds. Called home Depot manager pissed got them to agree to come pick it up the next day and deliver a new one and to make sure they call this time. 7:11 AM get a text message that the new mower has been delivered as we are sitting in the yard getting ready to leave for work, check the tracking website and it says it was delivered to the wrong damn address, 1:45 minutes on hold later and my wife is told that the CSR talked to the store abd the driver and fixed the issue and they will pick it back up and bring it to the right address, meanwhile I am on hold for the store manager again who tells me that the driver hasn’t even picked anything up from the store to deliver yet so it’s impossible that it was delivered to the wrong address and that she made sure to correct the address and insist the driver call before delivering, cut to 5 hours later and here I am writing this while still sitting at my in-laws rather than being at work because these incompetent fucking wastes of human life working at home Depot can’t do the simplest job on earth without fucking up every single thing they possibly could.
I always thought it was so “cute” how they showed me the chain of command when I walked into The Home Depot on my first day. For those blessed to never have worked in a Home Depot, I’ll give you the gist: Take a normal pyramid with customers on the bottom, employees above that, etc. etc. and the CEO on the top. Flip it upside down. That’s it. Management’s gotten so good at lying you almost think they buy their own bullshit. It’s a shame that’s all they know how to do. Half of management is so incredibly incompetent that they don’t even have the personality to lead a worm through dirt; Much less people. Store #0288 has become a den of greed and human misery, it feeds off both to stave it’s monstrous appetite. The Holiday Home Depot will work you like a dog, spit in your face, and force you to deal with it. For being a “tolerant company” that loves to brag about the diversity of it’s workers, they sure as hell don’t understand any of them.
