NO LIMIT BABY!!!!

  1. Administrator says:

While many retailers promptly halted use of EBT cards since the outage meant they couldn’t see cardholders’ spending limits, Wal-Mart let cardholders go ahead and buy food and other necessities at the two Louisiana stores and others across the country.

The result: in two hours store shelves were emptied. When spending limits began showing up again around 9 p.m., one woman with only 49 cents on her card, was detained after trying to ring up $700 worth of merchandise.

Stand back and take an objective look at what happened: The FSA cleaned out an entire Wal Mart in two hours. TWO HOURS. It will take them another two hours to clean out every other grocery store in town. Then two more hours to clean out the pharmacies, liquor stores and drug stores. In half a day, properly provoked, they could take everything from every store in town.

How long after that would it take for them to start home invasions, robberies, and murders to get your stuff? You’d barely have time to get home, collect your family, load your gun, and barricade the door. For crissakes, it takes locusts more than a day to wipe out crops, but the FSA can wipe everything out in less time than that.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have a much smaller national deficit.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have had far less turmoil in America.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have all of our great cities prospering as well as the small towns.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have far less violence and have far less need for gun control.

So let me see if I got this right? The EBT card fiasco in Louisiana gave unlimited buying power to these moochers, leaches, parasites? The computer glitch had granted unlimited buying power? These lowlife looters called their families and friends on their Obama phone to tell them to come and loot quickly before it stops. This perfectly reflects their mentality of thievery. After all they are the victims no? These losers who can’t figure out how to feed themselves for 1 day have a vote that carries the same weight as everyone else?!? If their excuse for receiving guvment help is that they are hungry and need to feed their families give them a bag of flour, potato, bean, dried meat and vegetables every week and let them MAKE THEIR OWN FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s not that they have anything else to do or workplace to attend. Phewwww I feel better now!

AWD, I know that was a rant, but what really happened was that the local WM decided to allow people to buy food with their EBT cards even though the system was down and they couldn’t tell what “limit” was on the card. So, with no limit, people went nuts and bought anything and everything they could. WM still scanned the items and the cards and tracked everyone on camera, but it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to end up paying for it. Likely WM, since they made the decision to let people buy food while the system was down, to avoid sending people away hungry. No good deed, and all that.

I was talking with someone this morning and likening this to the bank run in the movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” You know, where people asked for just what they needed until the money came in. Different world today, isn’t it?

Bullshit. The people in that movie had money in the bank dumbfuck, and were trying to get it out before the banksters got it.

The FSA can’t be bothered with work, and they don’t need to, Uncle Obama is giving them everything for free. Wake the fuck up, pal, there’s 100 million people on welfare, costing more than $1 trillion a year. There’s 12 million people on disability, costing $250 billion a year. There’s 50 million people on food stamps. There’s more than 12 million illegal aliens in this country costing more than $200 billion a year. When these people stop getting their free shit, no standing army on the face of this planet could stop them. What we got was a glimpse of what is coming. Imagine what’s going to happen if they don’t get their free shit for a week, two weeks, or it’s cut off permanently. It’s going to be 100x worse than this isolated FSA attack.

You missed the point, AWD, but it seems you’re having a particularly bad day.

We all know the stats, we all know what’s going to happen when the SHTF. The point is that our society has collapsed where people no longer take just what they need, even when an institution/company is offering to help them out. They take more than they could ever hope to use. Just wait until SNAP benefits are cut by $5 billion come November.

When societies collapse, so do governments. 4Ts are always a bitch.

If the Mallwarts had been smart, they would have allowed each EBT customer to buy some modest limit – like $100 – of food without being able to determine the available balance. And kept track so the same card didn’t come through twice.

Anyway, this is just a more obvious demonstration of how EBT works day in, day out. No one complains much about the government stealing 30-40% of your net income each year, but confiscate a few % right out of someone’s bank account, and IT’S AN OUTRAGE!!! It’s all in the portrayal, salesmanship, showmanship, etc….

    Foodstamp Program Shutdown Imminent?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/15/2013 13:35 -0400

When over the weekend, a Xerox “glitch” shut down the EBT system, better known as foodstamps, for nearly the entire day across 17 states leaving millions without “funding” to pay for food leading to dramatic examples of the basest human behavior possible, some of the more conspiratorial elements saw this merely as a dress rehearsal for what may be coming in the immediate future. While there was no basis to believe that is the case, a USDA (the currently shuttered agency that administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) memo obtained by the Crossroads Urban Center in Utah carries in it a very disturbing warning for the 46+ million Americans currently on foodstamps.

To wit: “understanding the operational issues and constraints that States face, and in the interest of preserving maximum flexibility, we are directing States to hold their November issuance files and delay transmission to State electronic benefit transfer (EBT) vendors until further notice.” In other words, as Fox13News summarizes, “States across the country are being told to stop the supplemental nutrition assistance program for the month of November, pending further notice.”

One hopes such “alternative” feeding arrangements will be peaceful, although in the most heavily armed nation in the world, and arguably the one where a massive portion of the population is now fully reliant on the welfare state for virtually every daily need, it is easy to see cutting off daily bread to tens of millions has a less than happy ending.

As the report notes, for people out on the streets like Richard Phillips, “It could impact us and it’s going to cause problems because you’re going to come to find out that people are going to steal and do what they have to do to survive.”

Such a realization could come as a very unpleasant wake up call for the millions of other Americans who still live in their Ivory Towers, focusing on the daily gyrations of the S&P500, and largely oblivious of how the rest of America lives.

That potential EBT shutdown is a real pucker factor, gawd, I almost spit my coffee up all over my laptop when I read about this!!!!! We are talking 50 MILLION people here. Like I think I said recently, if you are not somewhat prepped, you are already dead, so sorry.

Matt Bracken has written extensively about this and it will be FUGLY if it comes to be. I thought that when the EBT “glitch” occurred this weekend that it was “nudge”, a test run to see how it was gonna work.

Thanks to decades of libtard proglodyte policies, we have cities filled with impoverished, ill-educated, and perpetually aggrieved (feral) members of the FSA. These cities will simply Go Katrina (looted) or Go Rodney King (looted then burned).

Then there will be some folks who get Reginald Dennied, too bad, so sad, gotta break some eggs when making a new societal omlet, dontcha know.

Besides, it’s all the fault of the racist good old white boy Tea Party TAX PAYING Republicans!!!!

Obama tried to foment riots with Trayvon (failed). His ace in the hole has always been the FSA. He increased welfare spending 45% since taking office ($725 billion a year to over $1 trillion now). I think the weekend shutdown was orchestrated by Dems to make sure the FSA would go berserk (mission accomplished).

Obama is shooting for martial law. Won’t be long now. All the edicts are in place for him to seize complete control of every aspect of the economy and country. He can’t wait. He’s licking his chops as we speak.

Martial law would probably be best applied while the majority of the military is overseas fighting so they won’t interfere with the DHS. It’s interesting to think of the strategy involved here. Just how would the FedGov control the vast majority of America? My immediate guess would be they wouldn’t. Instead, they’d just choke the supply lines via the ports and industrial centers which could effectively bring the whole interior into submission (consumerism, in this case, was the perfect strategy).

As far as the military being engaged overseas: I knew plenty of people while I was in the army that wouldn’t hesitate to shoot on their fellow citizens. The military is infiltrated to a significant degree, in my opinion. So-called liberals basically view the competition as subhuman – we’ve seen where that leads. Additionally, and this is difficult to consider, the heavy presence of minorities with “historical grievances” against the majority population that now make up a significant portion of the enlisted ranks concerns me. I think we’ve seen enough evidence to hypothesize that it could be easy to inspire said folks to shoot at citizens. Fortunately the majority are shitty soldiers, very shitty. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more important than “forward” in the mind of the authoritarian. To bad they don’t understand the game: if victory is ever achieved, they will be eliminated or disenfranchised. What authoritarian wants a ready-made mob around AFTER they’ve achieved power? Goddamn life is a tragic comedy. Fortunately I’m non-violent and am just postulating. I’d hate to be disappeared for postulating about outcomes. Thank you all for the material that induces thinking.
