QUOTES OF THE DAY

“The growth of the Internet will slow drastically, as the flaw in ‘Metcalfe’s law’–which states that the number of potential connections in a network is proportional to the square of the number of participants–becomes apparent: most people have nothing to say to each other! By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s.”

Paul Krugman, 10 June 1998

One quote above conveys common sense, wisdom, reliability and honesty.

What is it about the human psyche that attracts the majority to the “intellectually dishonest, morally bankrupt, dumbass, pompous, douchebag’s” that we call leaders?

I would think one could insert ANY major, government mandated, industry into the above statement (“…Academics Who Defend Wall St. Reap Reward…”

Medical Professors Who Defend Big Pharm Reap Reward…

or

Social Engineers Who Defend Big Nanny State Reap Reward

or

Law Professors Who Defend Legislative Regulations Reap Reward

The corruption in this country starts in the seats of academia. The corporations don’t just own the government. They have bought and paid for the science, medical, social, finance and humanity departments at (nearly) every college in this land.

We are told marketing propaganda is “fact” and that toxins and poisons are “good for us.”

Whatever, if the spokesman/researcher is paid by either a college, corporation or government you can nearly 100% guarantee that they have been paid to tell you the story, ‘er facts.

Facts that have been paid for are – in retrospect or investigation – bullshit.

Believe the paid corporate spokespeople we call Professors at your own risk.

Or not, after all , everything is fine and the recovery is happening!
