TAXMAN COMETH

(If you drive a car ), I’ll tax the street,
(If you try to sit ), I’ll tax your seat,
(If you get too cold ), I’ll tax the heat,
(If you take a walk ), I’ll tax your feet.
Taxman.

The Beatles

The desperate government drones are flailing about in their death throes, frantically trying to milk the taxpayer cow for every last drop before they die of thirst. These feckless politicians have wasted your money for decades on worthless programs and projects. The do gooders have pissed away your money on public education and the union government drones running the education system. The result has been millions of clueless dupes who can’t think for themselves.

Politicians have destroyed our major cities by taxing the citizens and businesses to the point that producers leave. They have made entitlement promises that can never be honored. Detroit was the 1st domino to fall. The idiots running the City of Philadelphia are too stupid to see they are on the exact same path as Detroit. The tax base is gone. They are left with hordes of free shit army privates. Rather than deal with reality and cut expenses, they try the same old solution – create new taxes, new regulations and new laws.

It seems the job of government drones is to crush entrepreneurial spirit, deter innovation, restrict freedom, and tax the shit out of anything the moves, breathes or helps others. Three young dudes, fresh out of college created an idea called Air Bed & Breakfast, now called Airbnb.com, in 2008. The idea was for individuals with spare rooms to be matched up with other individuals in need of a room. Two individual people coming to a mutually beneficial agreement and eliminating corporate hotels, ridiculous rules, regulations and taxes does not sit well with the oligarchs and politicians. They aren’t getting their slice of the pie. Of course, their slice would amount to nine-tenths of the pie.

These three entrepreneurs have grown their business to $2.5 billion in five years. It’s amazing what individuals with a great idea can accomplish without Obama subsidies, the government deciding winners and losers, and control freak do-gooders imposing rules, regulations and taxes to stop the business dead in its tracks.

Airbnb epitomizes the sharing economy, in which folks rent or swap all kinds of underused assets – spare rooms, cars, parking spots, lawnmowers, children’s clothes or their time. The new sector inspires almost messianic devotees who say it’s an engine of innovation that creates value out of thin air, conserves resources, empowers ordinary people to be entrepreneurs, and disrupts industries and corporations.

The slumlords, corporate hotel chains, and tax & spend politicians are outraged at this dreadful act of liberty and freedom by people across the country. And they are going to do something about it. Democratic councilman Bill Green of Philadelphia is going to stop these entrepreneurial terrorists before they make too many people satisfied. He is so impressed by their service he wants to tax and regulate the shit out of them.

“It’s a product that I use when I travel. And its something that’s clearly being used here, and we’re not enforcing the law. So we might as well figure out a way to create a registration process, and tax it, [so] that [it] works with our zoning code.”

“Right now, it’s underground, so we have to figure out how to make the sharing economy, whether its ride sharing, car sharing, Airbnb or other things like that that work with Philadelphia’s zoning code.”

What would we possibly do without politicians protecting us from ourselves and creating taxes to crush new businesses? We truly need to starve the beast. We need to expand the underground economy and starve these bastards of their taxes. Barter with people. Conduct as many transactions in cash as possible. The laws and tax regulations were written by the corporate fascists to benefit the corporate fascists. Their kingdom built on a foundation of lies and false promises is crumbling. Let’s give it a push by starving them of their tax and fee revenues.

Taxes are theft. You pay them through threats & force. You are deprived of the fruits of your labor, and they take their slice before you get yours! Then, they create money out of thin air, adding insult to injury. We work while they just create money & then buy tangible goods is the biggest scam in history.

The government never creates jobs, only takes & redistributes to to 1% above & the poor/working poor that have been decimated by the Fed’s inflation.

A tax revolt, revolution, & reset is the only way & time gets closer to running out every day.

Don’t you love when people say you should pay your fair share? Your fair share is zero, unless voluntary.

My wife and I were talking yesterday about the taxes our business has generated over the last twenty years. I estimate between all taxes generated our business has been responsible for more than $100 million in tax, probably more like $200 million when supplier flow through, money spent by our employees, etc. is calculated. We have managed to accumulate a tu\iny fraction of that for ourselves.

And yet the govenment makes it damn near impossible to run a profitable business with all the laws and regs.

Small business is an incredible golden goose. My business, by its lonesome, has generated perhaps ten million a year in tax stream, yet the govt is bound and determined to make it increasingly difficult for us to survive.

It is unbelievable.

It is the reason why time and again I say that business income should be untaxed. Business income spins the wheels – the real tax money is not from business, but from tax on salaries, on sales taxes, etc. If my business were untaxed, I suspect their tax revenues would have been far, far greater than what they have generated from me to date. I would have been able to reinvest much more, I would have hired more people, I could have kept business I lost to overseas, I coulda been a champion of the world, especially if the red tape was reduced.

This country could boom if they would just take the shackles off business.

Taxes and regs on business fucks business. They politicians simply do not understand flow on. The see a business making a million dollars and say to themselves – “I gots to gets me some o’ dat”, and have no fucking idea that by so doing they are killing perhaps tens of millions in associated tax revenue.

Dumb motherfuckers.

My fair share is 1/(total number of folks in the country) times (total government expenditure less (cost of free shit plus cost of foreign war plus cost of foreign aid plus cost of Department of Education plus cost of farm subsidies pluscost of etc etc etc)). I have paid my fucking fair share, hundreds of times over.

Motherfuckingfuckers.

Not to mention the fact that two TRILLION dollars held overseas to protect it against US business tax would IMMEDIATELY flow back into the US.

Gee, I wonder just what benefit that might have – businesses suddenly getting an effective cash infusion of TWO TRILLION dollars. That alone would result in a huge boomtime. And it would cost them a fraction of the cost of their pump priming excercises to date – and it would actually fucking work!

Fucking motherfuckers.

The personal income tax came into being the same year the Federal Reserve, a private money lending institution, was established. This gave the federal government free reign in spending money. There’s nothing like free money. Spend some here, spend some there, throw some away over there, finance special projects all over the country—they don’t care—- let the good, hard-working citizens pay the interest for the pork barrel bullshit with their tax dollars. Intimidate the citizens, threaten them, seize their property, and if they don’t pay lock them up and throw away the key. I could go on and on about this theft but most people on this site know the real deal and would be bored to read further. Three things have to happen in this country for it to be free again.
Abolish the Federal Reserve.
Abolish the income tax.
Establish a sound, hard money, system. Preferably a Gold Trade Note.
Until this takes place one might as well kiss it goodbye. Third world nation here we come.

One of the official government definitions of terrorism is:
(B) appears to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;

Kinda sounds like the IRS don’t it?

No matter, the way the government has this set up today, they can raise taxes to 100% and they are still fucked and they know it.

Received The Money Bubble today, hope it doesn’t give me nightmares, probably will, but no more than reading TBP.

The Bundesbank in Germany came out today and told broke EU countries to “bail in” the rich to help their economies. Governments just plain steal money from your bank accounts without you even having to fill out a tax return. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are licking their chops to be able to steal money directly from people, with the IRS and NSA backing them up. If you complain? Your web browsing history dossier shows up on your doorstep, with threats of it going public, and the IRS immediately audits your taxes for the last 10 years.

Just simply taxing people and following the tax code is passe, they can and will go after your bank accounts and everything they can get their hands on, and completing the trifecta of economic fascism, the DOJ will prosecute you with laws your tax attorney didn’t even know existed. It’s a whole new world, and long as people are compliant little sheep like Llpoh (no offense dude) and pay 50-60% of their earnings every year, all will be fine, plus a bank account raid every now and then, because hey, there are 30 million government drones making an average of $120,000 a year (when benefits are included), and 112 million people on welfare/disability that need their free shit or they won’t vote for liberal progressive democrats next time.

The same thing happened in Rome, of course, they taxed the productive people to death, and they eventually just left their businesses and farms vacant. And they’ll get away with it as long as the FSA and millenials keep voting for more government, bigger government, and more free shit. Once people finally figure out the government is coming after their bank and investment accounts, the bank runs will start (the already have in China). After they can’t get their money out of the banks, people will be forced to participate in a barter economy. It could happen a lot quicker than anyone realizes, especially with the continued fight over the debt ceiling. Better to get your cash out of banks and away from the prying eyes of the fucking IRS, NSA and DOJ (America’s terrorist organizations).

Llpoh, Don’t you run your business as an S Corp? If not, why not? I’m not second guessing you. Just wondering. I totally agree that cutting the corporate tax rate would result in repatriation of a shitload of money. Canada’s corporate tax rate is about half of the US corporate tax rate.

Iska – S corp are taxed at full individual tax rates each year. You probably know that. They really are not meant for larger companies. It means that I would need to declare any income personally each year, and could not hold undistributed income in the business in effect all profits are distributed and individually taxed each year. It means any reinvestment into the business is as though I am personally contributing it out of my after tax money, as to having paid only company tax on it. Not good for growing a business.

Our corp tax rate is around 34%, vs top marginal rates individually of around 40% plus state taxes. So you are 10 – 15% better off in the short run, but then you have to pay dividend taxes when you take the money – which sucks – later.

It is a growth strategy rather than a personal tax strategy, primarily. You can keep more to invest in the business by not being an S corp.

A few years ago I had some problems with IRS AND I found out real quick the power they have. They can take personal bank accounts, business accounts, property (house)wages and just about anything else of value.Fortunately I had enough money cover everything but they did seize my bank accounts and then took what they said I owed and that was that. The state revenue tax
Collectors can do the same.Don’t every get behind because they can make
Your life a living hell.Next thing I did was hire a professional tax company to do all my taxes.Haven’t had anymore problems.

Thanks, Llpoh. There are some fairly big S Corps, but your explanation makes sense (as long as your investments to expand your business make sense).

I had a wild-ass idea to sell slices of pie at the farmers’ market. Seemed simple enough.

Au contraire. To sell slices of pie at a farmers market has required the following in San Bernardino County, California:

-fictitious business name. $ 55.00
-city business license and fees 132.00
-county health permit. 497.00
-county temporary event (market)
health permit. 460.00
-required consultation with public
health official 122.50
-Federal Employer ID Number.
-Franchise Tax Board Seller’s Permit

I have rendered unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. Mind you, the health permits have to be renewed every year.

At last I can sell the friggin’ pie, and I am doing OK, but a year from now I can see myself going into bartering mode.
