From what I’ve read, the first few shots are beanbag rounds, which is why he doesn’t go down right away. When he tried to take refuge in his car, that’s when he was shot with real bullets. It’s almost as if they shot the first rounds to force him to move out of his “surrender” position, just so they could kill him.

Well, that shoots down ol’ Smokey’s Copfuk Avoidance Theory of “he should have ducked”. The guy DID try to duck (back to his car) after being Bean-Bagged.

That’s a disturbing video. Unfortunately that guy wasn’t very smart. He should have just stopped to begin with and then dropped slowly to the ground. This is definitive proof to me that when dealing with corrupt, violent criminals, a reasonably intelligent person should comply even when in an otherwise better world they shouldn’t be afraid of being shot in the blink of an eye. Even to deal with them you have to have a basic level of common sense or you’re fucked.
