LIFE IS COMPLICATED

It’s good to see the dialogue has continued at a brisk pace while I’ve been away. It will have to continue that way. I’ve entered the budget season at work and considering I’m responsible for planning and budgeting, my time is already sparse. Now we add the complicating factor that my boss will be gone in two weeks, with the likelihood that his position will not be filled for six months. Half his workload will likely fall on me, and it has already begun.

I will not be able to participate in any meaningful way on a daily basis. I’ll be able to release posts made by others and post some stuff sent to me, but I will not be writing much at all. I’ll try to post a larger article whenever I can find the time on a weekend to write something.

Life is full of choices and there is only so much time in a day. The next six or so months is going to be dicey. I’ll be focused on the area of my life that provides my paycheck.

Carry on.

It just sucks that for you to take a break from doom on TBP you have to work even harder at your gloomy job. That just ain’t fair, but that’s life sometimes. When God close’s a door, sometimes he opens a rectum. That still cracks me up.

    Peace.

Hey Admin – maybe you will get his job. Then you will have two full jobs to do, not just one and a half.

But with your luck you will probably end up working for one of those Thirty Blocks of Squalorites you write about. Damn, now that would be a really bad day.

Take the time you need. We know you’ll weigh in when you can, and we’ll try to keep the ball rolling in the meantime.

One question; did Google refuse all your appeals? I see the ads are from Ad Choices now. Does that mean we can go back to pulling pics and news stories from other sites, or should we keep trying to be “good?”

Hey, I see Ads are back! Most of the article archives are gone, not that it matters other than for posterity. I post some of my comments to my own blog to keep track of them, and I found one dating back to June, 2010. So it’s 3 years and counting as a proud TBP’er.

Thanks, Admin, for sharing with us monkeys.

Yahoo approved TBP for ads. I archived a significant number of posts in an effort to satisfy Google. I have one last appeal awaiting a verdict. If they turn it down, I’ll move on and we’ll loosen up the posting of articles and pictures.

Every post is still saved and available. If you have a request to restore a particular post, it will take one minute to have it restored.

I won’t be posting much either for the next few days.

My mom came home earlier this week. We installed one of those chair lifts. She REFUSES to use it as intended … she is using it as a transport system for clothes and food (the washer/drier and pantry are in the basement.) She is STILL walking down the stairs!!!!!! My sister and I will have an “intervention” later this afternoon ……. either she uses the chair-lift, or we will have her committed to a nursing home. It’s that simple. We’re not going to deal with the bullshit and heartache of having her fall again.

I’m going over there now to clean the house top to bottom. She’s a fucking anal Neat Freak. A “pig sty” house to her is one where there are two uncleaned crumbs near the toaster. She freaked out the other day at how “filthy” the house was. So, she started to clean!!!!!!!! And, now, … surprisingly she is in a lot of pain again. Fucking nuts. I’m not going there to clean because I’m a nice guy. I’m going there to take away as many of her excuses as possible. My sister and I .. and even my dad … are near a breaking point. Shit better change …… and change real quick, or she won’t like the results.

    Have fun.

We don’t want too, and probably won’t. My sister and I have decided to try to Scare her into behaving more responsibly. Our next step, actually, will be to remove the handrail that she holds onto …. (for dear life). No way she’ll be able to go downstairs then …. unless she shimmies down on her ass. And if she does that …. we’ll really have no choice. She is THE most stubborn person I have ever met in my life. She’s like Clammy x 100. If she posted here you all would hate her in ten seconds flat.

BTW, the Google thing is spreading. Saw WND and another manosphereblog (can’t remember which) First one was targeted over the use of the term “black mob” and the other due to pics of women in “revealing” clothing- no more google ads for you, ONE YEAR! I think they’re skeered of the Dark Enlightenment ™.

AWD – damn, and here i thought you were smart. You said “The long-term mortality of a second hip fracture is almost 100%”.

The long term mortality of anything is 100%. So, you are probably better off getting a second hip fracture, as it is only “almost 100%”. That is better odds than I am getting now.
