It’s deja vu all over again. We’re supporting rebels, while Russia is supporting the government (just like Syria). Putin won round one, and the world was on the brink of WW3. And now the US is going to get involved in another conflict, backing rebels, on Russian soil? Maybe we’ll get WW3 after all. Obama’s not smart enough to see the inherent dangers. Putin will have to kick his ass even harder this time, and we’ll all suffer.

With all the oil and natural gas flowing through those pipes we can’t just sit back and ignore the situation.Those pipe lines are very important to western and eastern Europe and to some degree ,the world’s economy.This is where the libertarians always make themselves look like fools.Ignore the world’s problems and hope they will just go away.*Foolish.

I made the remark that those of us trained in the dark art of sniping were taught to do things like create a ‘honey pot’, where you badly wound one guy on purpose, then leave him laying there, bleeding and screaming, so his buddies would try to help him? And then you deck his buddies?
For those of you who did not believe me, I give you this:

I don’t think it’s IF it will happen here, but WHEN. The DHS just ordered another 700 million rounds, enough for 2500 for each of the 400,000 DHS thugs. That’s on top of the 2 billion they already acquired. They are training to take down Americans, as exampled by what happened in Boston. Backed by the NSA, they will try and crush all dissent. The reach of the NSA grows daily, and now the FCC is trying to control and limit what’s shown on news stations. It’s getting worse by the day.

I read an article written by an anonymous source who is actually ON the barricades in Kiev… one of the things he says is that even though everyone is helping out, from old to young, there are few Afghan vets in their ranks.. they’re just civilians..
That said, to answer your question..
1. DO NOT wear anything brightly colored. Orange hat guy on the phone? Yeah, he marked himself.
2. DO NOT do anything that will mark you as anyone important, like talking on a cell phone in the open. Again, orange hat guy earned his bullet by being stupid.
3. If you are going to advance, use some type of smoke screen. They got plenty of tires. Set a few alight and roll them forward of where you want to go. Unless they got FLIR, you should be okay.
4. You do NOT advance in a gaggle or a blob, like those guys did. Have your guys take off in groups of twos and threes, running erratically and NOT in a pattern. Give them so many things at once, they are momentarily overwhelmed and cannot choose a target.
5. If you’re going to carry a shield, at least make sure it’s bullet-resistant. A captured police shield will do. Plywood, which is clearly visible, is bullet-transparent… really a bad idea.
6. Deploy observers. Their only mission is to watch from a distance with binoculars and NOT expose themselves. They can relay sniper positions to those on the ground via cell phone.
7. Deploy your own counter-snipers. Give them orders to NOT FIRE until they are absolutely sure of their target. Fire one round, then displace. Deploy several teams of experienced men, preferably Afghan war vets, and wolfpack the fuckers.
8. If someone gets wounded, leave him. Hard choice to make, but you running back for your buddy is EXACTLY what they want you to do… Have a team of guys make their way towards the fallen using whatever cover they can, then toss him a weighted rope. Drag him to cover.
9. Give your extraction teams some type of rudimentary first aid training and at least some pressure bandages (or teach them how to field expedient one).

When TSHTF, I fully expect to be outnumbered and outgunned. Which means I have to use whatever wits I got and whatever I can press into service…
No binoculars for your observers? Find some nerdy kid with a high-powered celestial telescope and have him hang back about a half mile and spy for you, looking for bad guys… a telescope of several hundred power on a tripod would be friggin awesome…
Stuff like that. I’m a firm believer in the old saying “If it’s stupid, but it works, then it ain’t stupid.”
Oh, by the way… at least one person on the side of the demonstrators isn’t without skills… the riot cops deployed a BT-70 armored vehicle against them, and “someone” apparently made a little surprise for it… blew it sky high and immolated the crew…

They are moving Putins oil and gas south. Putin is going to kick ass after Sunday. Those protestors will be squashed in short order: Obongo and his clown side kick better keep their mouths shut and stay out of his way.
