The cop that showed up with the ambulance … according to my sister … was EXTREMELY helpful and soothing to my mom and dad. He even escorted the ambulance through town … something he did not have to do.
There. I told a good cop story.

Harry p ,it is legal to carry rifles in the open where I live but you do get some strange looks.That cop knew those guys and that’s a big help .You could tell the cop didn’t feel threaten .

I had to take a quick trip to the Atlanta area over the weekend and The Gestapo was out and doing their thing, searching everyone’s vehicles, especially the young people. Florida was not as bad as Georgia but they had traffic moving close to the speed limit. I believe the population is a bit scared of the man these days.
In my area I see The Gestapo searching all the younger kids, they definitely do not have it anywhere as good as we did growing up in the 70’s. Cops weren’t all that bad back then. But I always showed them respect because I was guilty as hell usually.
