More bullshit from the 100 mile deep “constitution-free” zone in the frontier of the U.S. I hope this Woman sues the shit out of the BP for bullying and harrassment. Meantime it’s tea and cookies for the illegals, including the 63,000 or so violent crime-committing illegals released into the U.S. population by Obummer.

The woman stated that she lives in the Sierrita Mountains. That’s about an hour south of where I live, and, as Westcoaster stated, it’s rapidly becoming a large “constitution-free zone,” also better known as southern Arizona.

Those mountains are infested with Mexican drug and people smugglers. They’re where BP agent Brian Terry was shot and killed in 2010 while tracking down some smugglers at night. They’re also ground zero for violent Mexican criminals who cross the border and rip off the drug mules headed for Tucson and Phoenix.

It’s the last place a young woman with two kids should live here in Arizona. It’s isolated and flat fucking dangerous. But that’s her choice.

Since it is such a sparsely populated area, the Border Patrol should have simply asked her a few more questions (eg. “Do you live near here?” “Are you headed home?”) to diffuse a situation that went south rapidly. Telling her to get out of the car right off the bat was stupid. Telling her that they were going to search the car was also stupid and possibly illegal without probable cause.

I realize the BP has a tough job in that area, and it can get stressful. But this woman’s story, if all true, indicates they stepped over the line, way over the line.

I’ve heard of this 100 mile zone….whats the skinny on it? And why 100 miles?

Also, has anybody out there seen these new(er) facilities along interstates? It looks like they re-fitted old rest stops and/or weigh stations. Its clearly meant for vehicles with a seperate pass-thru lane. But they’ve got every frickin gadget under the sun on the metal shed(s) and overhead metal structures.

SSS says, “It’s the last place a young woman with two kids should live here in Arizona. It’s isolated and flat fucking dangerous. But that’s her choice.”

Really? Blame the victim?

So tell us, where should Ms. Christiansen live with her children in order to escape rogue law enforcement officers and crime in general? And BTW, if there is such a place in USA, why aren’t you living there?

@ gypsy byerley

Are capable of reading for comprehension, twinkle toes?

I’m not blaming the victim by any means. Did you read my last sentence? ” But this woman’s story, if all true, indicates they (the Border Patrol officers) stepped over the line, way over the line.” Just keep in mind, we only got HER side of the story.

But I am questioning her judgment, regardless of what really happened with the BP. She’s got two very young children. Did you see them in the video? Cute kids living out in the middle of nowhere which is a NOTORIOUSLY DANGEROUS place. She’s an adult and can live any damn place she wants, but dragging two kids into the situation is both irresponsible and stupid.

Got a problem with that analysis? Let me know, and I’ll continue to try and knock some sense into your thick skull.
