Lucille Ball was pregnant during the entire 1952 season …. But, was never allowed to say that word. The censors felt more comfortable with “having a baby” and “expecting.”
60 million viewers did not get to see Elvis’ pelvis during his debut on the Ed Sullivan Show.
In “Judgment at Nuremberg” all references to gas chambers were eliminated …. because it offended the show’s sponsor, the American Gas Association.
The Smothers Brothers were cancelled because they spoke out against the Vietnam War.
Mary Ann from “Gilligan’s Island,” Jeannie from “I Dream of Jeannie,” and “Gidget” were all barred from baring their navels.

The original Tweety Bird was drawn without feathers. The censors said Tweety looked “too naked” and had to be redrawn with some feathers prior to even the first episode above. lmfao … a naked cartoon bird!!!!
