No voting means no trashing bb, no more yellow tint of approval. Trolls and non-anon get away scot-free. We’ll have to demoralize people the old way, with blatant insults to genitalia and genetics. And Stuck will be without tabulation skills, the horror.

Now that you’re back, I want to chide you for slacking the last week. It’s obvious just how committed you are to this site, since it was down for so long. I hope you can perform better in the future, otherwise I can take my business to other venues. I understand the facebook and the twitter are rather popular right now.

Nothing wrong with ZH Archie – good range / diversity of coverage, and a VERY diverse (and strongly-opinionated) commentator clientele. I’ve been lurking there for about three years (but have yet to register / comment!!)
Obviously good to have TBP back, and interesting that Jim has found the need to use a commercial DDoS prevention system (CloudFare). It will be interesting to see if other sites promoting free, unfettered speech start to need such protection against “unwanted attention”; the way things are going in the US and elsewhere. Maybe “Our Owners” are thinking the time is ripe to “shut up the troublemakers” – well, “they” will be in for quite a surprise!

Good job! I don’t think this was limited to TBP. 4 sites I surf regularly were attacked recently. Now only one of them is still down.
