Michelle Obama spared a moment between lavish tax-victim-funded vacations and celebrity outings to join this year’s version of the Kony campaign, which seeks military action in Nigeria to liberate 276 Christian schoolgirls who were abducted by Muslim militants.
The Twitter campaign — in which people pose with signs reading #BringBackOurGirls — is not directed at the terrorists and kidnappers, whose hearts will not be softened by such entreaties. The intent is to cultivate public support for a “humanitarian” military operation conducted by the same kind-hearted folks who have slaughtered hundreds of thousands of people during the past twelve years, and who are lending financial and military support to Jihadis in Syria who are committing atrocities every bit as vile as those carried out by Boko Haram.
This isn’t to say that the everyone who has enlisted in this hashtag campaign is a cynical war-monger, opportunistic politician, or trend-sucking celebrity. The heroic Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel nominee who survived being shot in the head by Taliban gunmen as punishment for promoting education for young girls, has joined the movement as well. Malala’s moral authority comes not merely from what she suffered in Pakistan, but from her willingness to confront the Nobel-winning murderer in the Oval Office over his continuing campaign of state terrorism.
During her White House visit last October, Malala expressed her concerns “that drone attacks are fueling terrorism,” she told the Associated Press. “Innocent victims are killed in these acts,” which she described as “fueling terrorism.”
Mrs. Obama’s Twitter photo was revised and corrected by a revolutionary socialist group in Detroit to reflect the hideous reality behind the administration’s humanitarian posturing.

National Guard’s NASCAR deal leads to virtually no recruits
WASHINGTON — The National Guard spent $26.5 million to sponsor NASCAR racing in 2012 to bolster its marketing and recruitment but failed to sign up a single new soldier to its ranks, according to data provided to USA TODAY.
Even though the Guard spent $88 million as a NASCAR sponsor from 2011 to 2013, it is unclear how many new recruits, if any, signed up because of it, according to documents. The Guard on Wednesday would not confirm the figures on prospects and recruits developed through its NASCAR sponsorship.
Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., who will hold a hearing on the recruitment program Thursday, assailed the Guard for “wasting a bunch of money on a very expensive sports sponsorship.”
The Guard received 24,800 recruiting prospects from the program in 2012, documents show. In those cases, potential recruits indicated the NASCAR affiliation prompted them to seek more information about joining. Of that group, only 20 met the Guard’s qualifications for entry into the service, and not one of them joined.

As as honorary Redneck who is also a vet and current member of the Reserves I can tell you that the real fighters and folks who keep the machine oiled are mostly fed up and sick and tired. Many were fooled into enlisting while young and got stuck, so hung around hoping for things to get better. Lot of them are getting out now or biding their time doing as little as possible. They’re on your side. Soon the only thing left will be an affirmative action army top heavy in pencil pushers. I can hear the sound of dropped rifles from here.

My friends dad was a vet who volunteered at the VA hospital. He was a combat soldier in WW2 and about the most patriotic man i ever met. He got sick and his VA treatment was so bad his family were seething hot at the VA after his death.
I watch the wounded warrior commercials on the tube(they make me sick) and feel anyone who would volunteer right now,must never think much about why were fighting,and for whom. Its a cluster.
The draft and actual voting is needed to keep us out of all these so called war’s.
