ANOTHER ACT OF WAR

In case you missed this on ZH. The U.S. has committed another act of war, sending American mercenaries to Ukraine.

We have to learn what the CIA, Obama and the USSA “deep state” are doing from Germany. Or did you hear about this on the news? I didn’t think so. I have to give Putin credit; he’s not taking the bait (so far).

What’s at stake? Only World War 3, which we are pushing for with both hands. How does Obama, the CIA and their masters get away with this shit? This is what happens when there’s no accountability and no functionING press/media. The MSM will give Obama a pass right up until the ICBM’s start flying.

400 Blackwater Mercs Deployed In Ukraine Against Separatists, German Press Reports

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 05/11/2014

In what is becoming a weekly ritual, the German press continues to demolish the US case of “idealistic humaniatrian” Ukraine intervention. Recall, that it was a week ago that German tabloid Bild am Sonntag, hardly the most reputable source but certainly one which reaches the broadest audience, reported that dozens of CIA and FBI agents were “advising the Ukraine government.” This conclusion is hardly a stretch and certainly based on facts considering the recent semi-secret jaunt by CIA head Brennan to Kiev. Fast forward one week when overnight the same Bild reported that about 400 elite mercenary commandos of the private US security firm, Academi, f/k/a Xe Services, f/k/a Blackwater “are involved in a punitive operation mounted by Ukraine’s new government” against east Ukraine separatists.

Bild cites sources who report that on April 29, Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND) informed the Angela Merkel government about Academi commandos’ involvement in Kiev’s military operations in eastern Ukraine. Spiegel adds that “the information originates from U.S. intelligence services and was presented during a meeting chaired by the Chancellor’s Office chief Peter Altmaier (CDU). At the meeting were present the president of the intelligence agencies and the Federal Criminal Office, as well as the intelligence coordinator of the Chancellor’s Office and senior Ministry officials.”

Bild am Sontag did not have information about who was paying the Blackwater commandos: it is well-known they do not come cheap.

RT has more:

In March, media reports appeared suggesting that the coup-imposed government in Kiev could have employed up to 300 mercenaries. That was before the new government launched a military operation against anti-Maidan activists, or “terrorists” as Kiev put it, in southeast Ukraine.

At the time, the Russian Foreign Ministry said then that reports claiming Kiev was planning to involve “involve staff from foreign military companies to ‘ensure the rule of law,’” could suggest that it wanted “to suppress civil protests and dissatisfaction.”

In particular, Greystone Limited, which is currently registered in Barbados and is a part of Academi Corporation, is a candidate for such a gendarme role. It is a similar and probably an affiliated structure of the Blackwater private army, whose staff have been accused of cruel and systematic violations of human rights in various trouble spots on many occasions.

“Among the candidates for the role of gendarme is the Barbados-registered company Greystone Limited, which is integrated with the Academi corporation,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “It is an analogue, and, probably and affiliated body of the Blackwater private army, whose employees have repeatedly been accused of committing grievous and systematic human rights abuses in different troubled regions.”

As this is not the first time Academi has been implicated in the Ukraine, its canned response is already prepared. This is what it said back on March 17:

Some irresponsible bloggers and an online reporter have recently posted rumors that ACADEMI employees (operating under the name of Blackwater) are present in Ukraine. They are not and ACADEMI has no relationship with any entity named Blackwater or with the former owner of Blackwater, Erik Prince. Such unfounded statements combined with the lack of factual reporting to support them and the lack of context about the company, are nothing more than sensationalistic efforts to create hysteria and headlines in times of genuine crisis.

The basics: Those who understand the facts know that Erik Prince sold the company (which he had renamed ‘Xe’) in 2010 and retained the rights to the ‘Blackwater’ name. The new management of ACADEMI has made tremendous efforts to build a responsible, transparent company ethos, evidenced by the numerous awards ACADEMI has received for being among the most compliant companies in our industry. More information can be found here.

Sure enough, moments ago the soldier for hire company followed up with a second denial, when as German Zeit reported, “the U.S. security services denied a ZEIT ONLINE report, that it has put mercenaries in Ukraine.”

Of course, since no western entity, and certainly not the company itself, would ever admit its involvement in the Ukraine as it would promptly crash the official US foreign policy track claiming US non-involvement in Ukraine, none of this is surprising.

Readers may have greater luck inquiring Blackwater directly via their Twitter account. After all #AskJPM was such a smashing success we don’t see a reason why #AskBlackwater wouldn’t work just as well.

Finally, in this proxy war between west and east, to believe that the US won’t throw everything it can at Putin is naive, and as such the involvement of trained US mercenaries in Ukraine is beyond debate.

However what is certainly surprising and far more interesting, is the persistent attempts by the German press to discredit none other than their biggest “Developed world” ally, the US. It is almost as if someone (a quite wealthy and powerful someone) has material interests that diverge with those of the Obama administration, and hence converge with those of Putin. Alongside the emerging China-Russia axis, keeping tabs on just how close to Russia Germany is willing to get, is easily the most notable story in the entire Ukraine conflict.

“However what is certainly surprising and far more interesting, is the persistent attempts by the German press to discredit none other than their biggest “Developed world” ally, the US.”

To be precise: from the beginning of the Maidan-“Protests”, german MSM were hailing to the protestors, the US, Obama, the new ukrainian “government, “Freedom”, “Democracy” and Mommie’s apple pie.

Putin has, from the beginning of RUSSIAN resistance to those developments, unequivocally demonized as the devil incarnate, culminating in his being portrayed as the new Hitler after the annexation of the Crimea. As I said, in all of the mainstream media.

However, there was lots and lots of resistance in the user forums of said media; people defending the russian stance on Ukraine were quickly ridiculed as “Putinversteher”, but the people would not be stopped; there were 9 pro-russian comments to every one anti-russian comment. This is not to be read as anti-american concerning your people, but most of the more intelligent people here now see the criminal workings of the US-oligarchy around the globe.

If there is a change of attitude in the MSM in the making, it might be the influence of some big german/european industrial associations, who know that we in Europe/Germany have more to win with Russia as partner, than as an enemy.

“However, there was lots and lots of resistance in the user forums …… there were 9 pro-russian comments to every one anti-russian comment.” ———– German visitor

First, thank you for stopping by to visit and for your comment. It’s great to read a real European perspective.

Second, a German golfer, Martin Kaymer, won the Players Championship yesterday. It must be a glorious day in Germany as all 5 golf fans in Germany got together to celebrate.

Third, I sincerely hope and pray Germany wins the World Cup this year. (I’ll be cheering for America also, but we all know they don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell. I doubt they even make it out of Group Play.)

Now ………. concerning your comment that 9 out 10 comments in the user forum are pro-Russian.

That’s great! Perhaps that forum is like this one … a place where people can think for themselves, rather than being swayed by mainstream media bullshit. However, I do not believe that reflects the views of the general population. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems to me that the average German-in-the-street is as stupid a blind sheep as their American counterpart.

I say this for the following reason. I can speak and read German, so I went to “Die Welt”, and read some comments, such as the one below;

“Wie der BND in der nachrichtendienstlichen Lage des Kanzleramts weiter berichtete, operieren aufseiten der ukrainischen Armee und Polizei 400 Elitekämpfer der privaten US-Sicherheitsfirma Academi” ——— Gut so, endlich aktive Hilfe für die Ukraine! Die Buh-Rufe auf dem ESC war ebenfalls eine klare Botschaft an Russland, dass Europa nicht einverstanden ist mit der russischen Poltik!”

http://www.welt.de/politik/ausland/article127862117/Hunderte-US-Soeldner-sollen-fuer-Kiew-im-Einsatz-sein.html#disqus_thread

The quoted part is about the 400 mercenaries. Then the person responds with —- “Good. Finally some active assistance for the Ukraine! The boos at the ESC was at any rate a clear message to Russia that Europe is not in agreement with Russian politics! The comment received 61 “up” votes, and 0 “down” votes.

The reference to “ESC” is Eurovision Song Contest. In fact, I posted an article about it yesterday titled – “Bearded Austrian Drag Queen”. Indeed, the two Russian sisters were greeted heartily with a chorus of “boo!!”. An utterly disgusting display of political correctness by Europe’s brain-dead zombies.

To be fair, there were also negative comments against the West, specifically the USA. One person mentioned not to forget Iraq and how America was willing to risk a world war over false pretenses. It got well over 100 up votes. But, my favorite comment was this one;

“Obama hat selbst nichts sagen, der spielt nur den Clown fürs Volk.” — Obama himself has nothing to say. He just plays The Clown for the people. ………. Hahaha, glad to see not all Germans worship at the feet of Herr Oreo.

I was raised to be a loyal, patriotic American by educated, liberal parents who played by the rules and were generally content with their lives. I think most kids of my generation were. Of course like most of my generation I rebelled against a lot of the bullshit we perceived but all in all I never hated my country for most of my life.

Well I do hate it now. I want the US to lose every war, every diplomatic battle, every “war” on every front. I want the whole fucking thing to just die. Maybe then we all can just be left to our own devices to develop their own sense of morality and ethical behavior that can allow us to form our own communities based on things that are real and positive. A nation of such communities I could love once more.

Deter a nuke attack? Hilarious. Even if the USSA stopped 90% of Russia’s incoming nukes, the other 10% would render most of Amurika a wasteland.

Maybe the gooberment can spend $60 billion on a study …. that only requires the common sense of a 5th grader.

AWD, I live and work roughly 25 miles SW of the center of Houston. A single thermonuclear bomb on Houston and I’d probably survive to be able to hunker down for a week or two and then find my way through back road to reach Rancho HZK. A MIRV however would probably toast my ass.

@Stucky

The forums I refer to are the user comment sections of the online-versions of 4 of the leading upper echelon german newspapers which I peruse daily:

spiegel.de
sueddeutsche.de
faz.net
zeit.de

The “welt”, to which you refer belongs like the “bild”, which reported the presence of the Academi/Blackwater mercenaries in ukraine to the extreme right-wing, pro-US, pro-Israel, Anti-Russian “Axel Springer”-media conglomerate, so you will most probably find more hardcoare right-wingers among the readers (although the welt tries to paint itself more moderate and serious, in contrast to “bild”, which is just a cheap tabloid for the dumbest of the dumb).

However, the “bild” reporting the presence of the mercenaries(!) makes me feel like some people very high up in the german industry with deep-rooted interests in russia might be exerting some extreme pressure.

Believe me if I repeat: since the beginning of the crisis, when the “gleichgeschaltete Presse” tried to sell the official viewpoint to the readers in the above mentioned 4 newspapers all hell broke loose.

Since you read german, I will post a link from the counterculture blog “telepolis”, which sums up this development:

I’ll have to admit to a certain bias toward the English language, maybe if Google translate was a little quicker, but even then, who gives a shit what anyone in the EU thinks, or vice versa?

Germany is the engine of a failing union, just as the US is the engine of a failing global economy. Dollar denominated debt is the biggest issue facing the West, and the global oligarchy will maintain status quo until there is a replacement for the USD. They will then usurp the USD with SDR’s and let the dollar fall. They can’t let it go completely, otherwise the debt will become valueless, as well.

Taking back the printing press from the Fed, and printing $16T in bills to pay off the national debt would be a start, then there’s still $200T of unfunded federal obligations with which to contend.

Demographics will be the undoing, for all of the developed and developing nations. What this means for the social contract, and global corporatism remains to be seen. Corporations are beholden to the shareholder. This much has been proven beyond doubt. If only government was as beholden to the taxpayer and their constituents on a one person, one vote basis.

It’s understood this flies in the face of many a vested interest. Perhaps this is what is needed the most. It’s time for an American Spring, but not yet. The shadow government of Dick Cheney will reveal itself in due time. Everyone I know and everyone with whom I speak is ready for it. Most of these are ready for the return of Christ, as well. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, that should give you pause to consider.

God bless, you, too, Stucky!

German Visitor —- thanks for the response, and thanks for the link. I’ll check it out for sure.

Nonanonymous — God Bless you, too. Really. As you know, I don’t believe in “the return of Christ”, but I would welcome it at this point, and I hope the bumper sticker I once saw is true — “Jesus is coming back, and he’s PISSED!”

Nonanonymous

No, I didn’t know that. Thanks for the insight.
