100 YEARS OF INCOME TAX

At least they have put our money to good use, fighting wars of choice around the globe, creating the Dept of Energy to make us energy self-sufficient, creating the Dept of Education to make our kids smarter, creating the VA to properly care for the veterans of our wars of choice, creating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to allow everyone to own a home, creating an entitlement state that has resulted in 100 million people on the dole, creating the SEC to make sure Wall Street banks don’t commit fraud and destroy the worldwide financial system and now rolling out Obamacare to make us healthier.Taxes well spent!!!!

And don’t forget keeping us under constant surveillance to protect us from terrorists. And thank God we have the non-partisan, highly efficient IRS to enforce the 73,954 pages of tax code. Happy birthday Income Tax!!!!!

The Federal government, the biggest criminal organization in the history of the world.

The Feds steal your money at gunpoint, pay up or go to jail.

Taxation without representation. Who’s protecting and serving the taxpayer? Nobody.

Absolute corruption, what happens when you give a bunch of “elected” lawyers the biggest checkbook in the world, with no restraint on spending or stealing money from productive people. It’s got to end, close down the Federal government, end taxation, would anybody even notice?

I watched Ron Paul being interviewed in the Capitol Rotunda about income taxes. He of course wants to get rid of the income tax. When the reporter said how will we pay for things if we don’t have the income tax Ron replied ” How did we pay for the Capitol building without income taxes ” ? He said the income tax system was apart of the USA for 137 years, how did we run a country without it for so long ?

The Federal reserve bank credit ponzi scheme and the Incoming Transfer tax are symbiotic creatures. When the Bank of England was created in the late 1600’s, suddenly England had a Incoming Transfer tax as well. BTW the 16th amendment has no bearing on taxes wage incoming transfers conducted in bank credit. That was settled in Veazie Bank v. Fenno – 75 U.S. 533 (1869).

100 years of income tax is bullshit – I am never going to live that long.

At least with the income tax, they went to the trouble of amending the constitution. With the Obamacare individual mandate, they just drove right through the constitution’s prohibition of capitation taxes. I believe they “got to” Roberts.

I really can’t let myself dwell on how much of my money the government has misspent. I’d go postal if I did.

It bothers me that they take my money…but it bothers me a lot more that it’s all channeled into conduit schemes to line the pockets of the rich and connected.

How ’bout we do a “kill two birds” two-fer; eliminate income tax and go back to what supported the Fedgov in days of old….tariffs.
Just think of the economic expansion prospects when Uncle Sam slaps a 10-25% tariff on ALL imported goods! It’ll be like “Black Friday” at Wal-mart with manufacturers rushing to build plants in the U.S.A. Hell, maybe Wal-mart will revert back to the days when Sam started the company, with the promise of “everything made in the U.S.”

WC,

That is what started the Civil War, Washington DC losing the tariff taxes of the Southern States.

Westcoaster – there is too much wrong with your tariff plan to address everything, but let us just look at this:

There is around 2 trillion a year in imports. That would generate 500 billion in tax, at your highest rate of 25%. The govt spends what, 3 trillion or more?

Oops, just a slight 2.5 trillion shortfall.

Not to mention what would happen to exports, the price of goods overall, etc etc etc.

The answer lies not in taxes – it lies in expenditure. No am punt of tax will overcome the current levels of expenditure, and the projected growth thereof.

The answer is to cut the welfare state off entirely, cut defense to defense only (not offense, which is really what is being spent on), and require everyone to provide for their own selves.

The cost of govt would then plunge to perhaps a trillion per year, which would be manageable.

The income tax is not what you think. It didn’t begin in 1913. The 16th amendment didn’t change the taxing powers of the government nor repeal the apportionment requirement. Here’s the FIRST line of IRS form 1065 for partnership returns (after name info):

Caution. Include only trade or business income and expenses on lines 1a through 22 below. The words “Caution” and “only” are BOLDED on the form.

Here is the definition of trade or business from Internal Revenue Code (26 USC) AKA Title 26:

(26) Trade or business
The term “trade or business” includes the performance of the functions of a public office.

Here’s a definition of Definition:a statement of the exact meaning of a word, esp. in a dictionary.
• an exact statement or description of the nature, scope, or meaning of something

Here’s the entry in Black’s Law Dictionary for INCLUSIO UNIUS EST EXCLUSIO ALTERIUS:
The inclusion of one is the exclusion of another. The certain designation of one person is an ab- solute exclusion of all others. n Coke, 58b; Bur- gin v. Forbes, 293 Ky. 456, 169 S.W.2d 321, 325.

Ignorance of what the law really says cost people a lot of money. Learn the truth about the tax code. It probably doesn’t apply to you (unless you are a government troll here to prop up the lie).
