Moochelle thinks they need to get “a taste” of doing real hard work for the minimum wage. They need to experience the tough life path followed by their parents:
1. Minimum wage job for a few months.
2. Private College.
3. Ivy League Law school
4. Government paychecks.

President Barack Obama and wife Michelle want their daughters Malia and Sasha to get a taste of what it’s like to work for minimum wage. The president and first lady both worked minimum-wage jobs before they went to law school and tell Parade magazine they want the same sort of experience for their teenage daughters. As Reuters writes, President Obama has focused this year on issues including raising the minimum wage, now $7.25 an hour. Asked by Parade whether they want their daughters to work in “character building minimum-wage jobs” as their parents did, the first lady replies: “Oh, yeah. I think every kid needs to get a taste of what it’s like to do that real hard work.”
“We are looking for opportunities for them to feel as if going to work, and getting a paycheck is not always fun,” the president says.

Martha’s Vineyard locals say a Obama vacation is in the works, as security is already preparing for the family’s 2014 stay.
It’s back to the Vineyard for the Obamas.
The first family will again descend on the Massachusetts retreat this summer, likely from Aug. 9 to 23.
Sources in the area confirmed another presidential summer stay was in the works, with security scouting out a suitable abode for the family, according to the Cape Cod Times.
Obama has visited the island every summer since 2009, with the exception of 2012 — an election year.
For the first three years the President stayed at the Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark, but in 2013 he stayed at smaller Chilmark compound that was closer to the road, angering Vineyard locals with the security interruption.
Daughters Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, skipped out on the first part of the Vineyard vacation last year since the growing Obama girls had plans of their own at summer camp.
The Obama parents got a new Portuguese Water Dog, Sunny, to fill the void.
Too funny. These kids will never get a stiff dose of reality. They will grow up pampered and spoiled, always some sort of benighted celebrity. Glide through what will ostensibly be a free ride in college. Graduate to an “born on third base” job. When they get bored with that they will marry some well connected rich fuck who will play upon their connections to enrich them even more. I so hate the political elite. I especially despise the “live like royalty” lifestyle jetting of to far away places when it suits them on the taxpayer dime. I rarely wish bad things upon people, and these kids did not pick where they were born, but I cannot help but be disgusted by the lying, two faced, pieces of shit they were spawned from.

I worked in the Ground Round restaurant from age 13 to 18. I started sweeping floors and cleaning bathrooms back in the mid 1970s. There was a lot of heavy drinking as the drinking age was 18, those bathrooms were nasty. I especially liked picking cigarette butts out of urinals that had been puked in. I started working in the kitchen doing prep at 13. I was on the grill and fry cook by 14. At 16 I ran the kitchen, did the ordering and weekly inventory, full time in the summer. I didn’t make over minimum wage until I was 16. I think my first three raises were Jimmy Cater raising the minimum wage., I started at about $2.25 to $2.50 an hour. At the end of each night we would filter the hot grease through diatomaceous earth, then dump it by hand back into the fryolator, good work for a 14 year old.

Her comment is very insulting, those minimum wage jobs she mentions her children trying are a way of life for many Americans thanks to the administration and congresses refusal to guarantee the right of workers to earn a living wage. Perhaps the president and his wife would allow the cash strapped workers in this country to “try” their lifestyle.
