A valet for the five-star Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi crashed a guest’s Lamborghini Gallardo. The valet nearly hit three bystanders and caused up to 244,319 euros worth of damage. Arun Kumar, the valet was treated in hospital for minor injuries; however he has refused to accept responsibility for the accident.
I generally oppose class envy, but fuck anybody who owns a Lamborghini. I side with the valet.

I’ve never been all that whelmed by Lambo styling. My own sense of aesthetics is better satisfied by cars like the Jag XK-E or the old Ferrari Berlinetta SWB coupe.
But I’m not envious of anybody. Disposable income is for disposing on whatever you can afford. Ya got it? Spend it!
I was wrong on my comment, that is a left-hand side steering wheel, so the white guy was driving, not the blonde. Can’t tell who was at fault–was the Lambo cut off by the VW car entering? I do think that model Lamborghini looks great.

When I was locuming in the UK, one of the larger 4WD clubs were planning / in the process of modifying a Stalwart to take an ex – HST Paxman Valenta V12 that would (could??) have put out 2000 ++ HP, but was probably a “we’ll do it ’cause we CAN!” project! Funded by one of the big Yorkshire scrap metal families – ALL the kids were very serious 4WD competitors, and all had a very good track record.
Nick A, it sounds like you’ve never been around folks who race high-dollar cars. You don’t strap on a race car if you’re insecure. 🙂
Asians of all nationalities are horrible drivers. This should be the fanciest mode of transportation on that continent. Carbon friendly, too.

I’m always amazed, driving around LA, of all the people who drive as if they were F1 drivers just because they have a fast car. Some of these people would be wise to use some of their money to take some driving lessons to actually learn how to control 5-6 hundred horsepower. Some of them have more money than brains. Not the first of these crashes I see.
