US / Mexico Border Near Campo, California

My wife and I toured the US / Mexico border around 2006 while we lived in California. Given our current illegal immigration crisis, I thought I’d share these photos with you. What you see here is our actual border. Forget about the TSA and their little blue gloves and politely queued checkpoint lines you’ve experienced while travelling. That’s just the fake security our government puts on for show.
Browse the photos below, you’ll get a taste of the real deal.
Minuteman post with spotting scope at Patriot Point, adjacent to the border and the highest ground for several miles. USA territory is on the left.
Campo, California. 55 miles east of San Diego, and where the border fence ends.
The steel border fence is typically repaired by American volunteers, since the Border Patrol has no funds for upkeep. Still, numerous entry points are visible even in this small section.
A solitary American flag affixed by the Minutemen to the fence, with Mexico stretching to the horizon beyond.
Illegal border crossers tie cloth to their feet to obfuscate their tracks as they make entry into our country.
In some places, the border fence is only waist high.
In some places, the border fence is not even a fence, just a horizontally mounted pole.
Here is one section where the border fence ends.
The fence abruptly ends, marking the spot where money and political will could no longer justify construction.
A solitary border patrol vehicle, with an overwhelmingly large area to monitor.
Here the border fence is split where a large boulder interfered with sound construction.
Another gap in the fence.
Mexico stretches to the horizon beyond the fence gap. The whole area on the Mexico side is completely controlled by drug lords, who have total control over all drug and human smuggling.
Needles are scattered all over. Smugglers inject speed or meth so they can run for miles and quickly get beyond the immediate border area.
Yet another place where the border fence just ends…
And then picks up again….
Driving along the dirt road along the border, countless gaps exist in the fence and have been exploited countless times.
Yet another location where the fence just ends.
Here’s a location where Mexican nationals were actually just driving their cars right through, so Minutemen and local ranchers erected some steel poles as makeshift barriers.
Patriot Point, in Campo, California. Our flag flies proudly on this high ground where Minutemen assist our border patrol in spotting illegal border crossers.
While these photos represent only a tiny fraction of our border, I hope it helps you to understand the scope of the issue we face.

Catch and Release Results In An Alleged Murder
Oh, it doesn’t require the National Guard and sealing the border eh?
The dead woman would like to protest your bullcrap Mr. President and Gov. Perry.
LUBBOCK, Texas—An illegal immigrant who was released by U.S. authorities with a Notice to Appear has been arrested for the alleged murder of a woman and kidnapping of children on U.S. soil. The alleged crimes occurred after the man was released.
The man, Pedro Alberto Monterroso-Navas, entered the U.S. illegally with children and turned himself in to U.S. Border Patrol agents. He was processed and released, as are all illegal immigrants who come as unaccompanied minors or incomplete family units from Central America. The alien is from Honduras.
THIS is what illegal immigration brings to our nation.
THIS IS AN INVASION OF CRIMINALS BY DEFINITION AND THAT INCLUDES, IT APPEARS, CRIMINALS WILLING TO COMMIT MURDER.
SEAL THE BORDER.
GALLUP: BORDER FLOOD TOP PROBLEM
One in Six Say Immigration Most Important U.S. Problem
Immigration concerns surged in July, while economic mentions ebbed
by Lydia Saad July 16, 2014
PRINCETON, NJ — With thousands of undocumented immigrant minors crossing the nation’s southern border in recent months, the percentage of Americans citing immigration as the top problem has surged to 17% this month, up from 5% in June, and the highest seen since 2006. As a result, immigration now virtually ties “dissatisfaction with government,” at 16%, as the primary issue Americans think of when asked to name the country’s top problem.
This is not the first time that immigration has spiked in the public’s consciousness. Most recently, Gallup found the issue increasing to 10% in 2010, at a time when a new immigration law in Arizona was making news. And prior to that, it increased twice in 2006 to 15% or higher, amid congressional debate over immigration reform.

Maybe we should ask the Russians for blueprints to The Berlin Wall?
Or maybe the Chinese? This would keep the fuckers out ….
Obama and the socialists don’t want to keep the barbarian low-IQ illegal alien invaders out. They will sign up for a lifetime of free shit, they’re democrat voters, like all Mexicans and neegroes, they’re taking over this country and they know. Fuck Obama with a chain saw.
Is it possible that Harry Reid and HNIC are lying about the border being secure?
Some fence.
Maybe we could do a better job of keeping people out if we didn’t have to build military bases in 140 countries? We should bring back our troops from…Brussels , maybe. Or Tokyo. Or Stuttgart.
If the Corp of Engineers could build all those dams, why couldn’t they build a serious border fence? That’s a fence built by politicians.
Today Obama is proposing $11 bil in infrastructure spending. For a 1,900 mile border, $11 billion is $5.8 million per mile that could be used to build a REAL fence. That’s about $110,000 per hundred foot run. For that money they should be able to build double 50 foot razor-topped fencing, with access (dirt) roads and sensors.
$11 billion is one day’s federal spending. If we had to spend twice as much, it’d be money well spent.
Even some so-called conservatives argue (weakly) that a fence would be insufficient. It’s necessary but not sufficient. Logic 101.
You may not know this ………. but HNIC Oreo just slapped more sanctions on Russia.
You may not know this ………. but Putin is forming major key alliances around the world
You may not know this ………. but Putin met with Raul Castro in Cuba last week
You may not know this ………. but Russia and Cuba have signed an agreement to reopen Russia’s intelligence base in Cuba
You may not know this ………. but that’s one big FUCK YOU!! to the USA! USA! USA!
While Oreo golfs ….
Any plan for a real fence (Rubio’s scheme was a joke) would include enabling legislation that would trump all existing law, most notably tribal law, environmental law, laws regulating existing parkland, etc. Without making the fence supersede all of those it’d be tied up in the courts for decades. Any real legislation for a real fence would also include exact specifications (or make reference to them) not just pass the buck to the secretary of homeland security or any other administrative body. Those few republicans who aren’t venal are so stupid they couldn’t accomplish this on their own. The law would have to be written for them and handed to them as a fait accompli.
Holy shite, am I the only freaking ‘murkin that remembers the Boeing contract (billions, with billions in overruns) for Bushie’s border solution? We paid, and paid, and are probably still paying Boeing and other “vendors” and yet here we are.
Just what in the freak fellow citizens?
So it dawns on me the other day, on September 10, 2001, I would find myself in full on support of stopping the inflow of people, drugs, hookers, diseases, etc, but that now, today especially, I think we are begging the government to put up the means to KEEP US FROM GETTING OUT.
Look around at cops with submachine guns, tanks and armed drones, youth armies, UN troops, treaties with Canada and Mexico to borrow their armies, then tell me I’m out of my freaking mind.
Please, I beg you.
Stuck, We have to watch out for devious Cuban bastards. Like Rubio. Although I suspect he’s too stupid to be devious on his own. He’s most dangerous when fronting for Schumer and Durbin, like he did in 2013.
TE, if I need to get out, I can canoe or walk across the ice to the Quetico.
I’m closer to Canada now, but whom knows where survivors will be rounded up in the future. The middle of a desert seems about right for gubment work.
THIS is a border fence that says “Just try to get to the other side!”, with proper guards standing watch.
Israelis know how to protect themselves.
Here’s a good try…ha, ha.
The Canadian border is the one I’m worried about. But you can boat from the US Northwest into some pretty wild country in BC. Just something to keep in mind, if you find yourself a refugee at any point.
USA – Canada border
Obama couldn’t get a civil war started with neegroes, so now he’s using the illegal alien invasion to foment strife, conflict, and hatred. People are going to fight this bullshit, taxpayers are getting fucked, as usual, so Obama the psychotic out-of-control criminal can continue to destroy this country. When are people going to have enough of egregious abuse of power and demand his impeachment?

Most voters don’t want any of the young illegal immigrants who’ve recently arrived here housed in their state and say any legislation passed by Congress to deal with the problem should focus on sending them home as soon as possible.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the primary focus of any new immigration legislation passed by Congress should be to send the young illegal immigrants back home as quickly as possible. Just 27% say it should focus instead on making it easier for these illegal immigrants to remain in the United States. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.

TE,
For years, leftists conflated a southern border fence to keep people out with the East German fence to keep people in. If someone can’t tell the difference between locking their own house to keep criminals out and being locked in your own house against your will (as were the East Germans), they’re not thinking or they’re unserious. As bad as our government is getting, the greater risk is still being overrun by unskilled, uneducated, as-yet-undocumented democrat voters and Free Shit Army benefit recipients. If the rogue federal government felt the need to have a southern border fence to keep its enslaved taxpayers inside the US, it’d be complete already. The fact that it’s left undone by that feral government despite being overwhelmingly popular is more evidence that it should be built. The left couldn’t be happier than if conservatives started opposing the southern border fence for fear of being trapped. We still have 10,000 miles of coastline and a 3,000 mile border with Canada. Besides, where can you go that’s less socialistic than here?
I’ll worry as much about the Canadian border when there roving criminal gangs of Manitobans or I have to “press 2 for Fron-say”. I’d worry more about getting eaten by a wolf than running into a criminal on the US-Canada border. Seriously, all of these non-sequiturs about the Canadian border or the government fencing us IN or how we need E-Verify instead of a fence detract from the common fucking sense idea of sealing the one border where tens of millions of people could easily sneak in over the next decade or so.
Good Lord…
I’ve never seen such a piss-poor fence… you couldn’t keep a cow out, much less a motivated smuggler high on meth… or a swarm of illegals..
Fucking ball-sacks saying “The Border is secure….”
We’re done… just…. done.

I don’t want to keep Canadians out. I want to get into Canada..if I ever need to.
Public Goes Ballistic Over the Porous Mexican Border
By Gary North
The Tea Party Economist
July 18, 2014
A recent Gallup poll reveals that two issues are neck and neck as the issues of greatest concern in the USA: (1) illegal aliens; (2) dissatisfaction with the federal government.
Gallup dutifully refuses to call them illegal aliens. One does not use such crude, accurate language. No, no, no; these are “undocumented immigrants.”
In early June, hardly anyone cared: about 5%. But then the media began to focus on the flood of children from Central America who are crossing the border.
How they got all the way from Central American nations, across Mexico, and across the U.S. border with Mexico, no one seems to know. Did they walk? Hitchhike? What?
Who their parents are, no one knows.
Why these parents simply sent their adolescent children out the door forever, told them to cross several borders by themselves, and go into the United States, no one asks.
Why no parents in recorded history have ever done this to pre-adult children seems to surprise no one in the media, let alone Congress.
Basically, Central Americans have adopted the Jor-El strategy. They figure the United States is a nation of Jonathan and Martha Kents.
Why now? Parents could have done this at any time over the last ten years. Are the children fleeing the Mexican drug cartels? Or are their parents using them as paid escorts?
Republicans in Congress had planned to sneak through an amnesty bill — not called an amnesty bill, of course — before November. The “rubes back home” would not notice, Boehner thought.
Then came the Cantor moment on June 10. Whammo! An unknown with no money got the nomination. Cantor was sent into early retirement. All of a sudden, Republicans in the House decided to skip Mr. Cantor’s fate at the hands of the rubes back home.
Then came the media stories began to flow on the Jor-El strategy. A media feeding frenzy began. It has escalated. Drudge keeps running stories.
Result: the Gallup poll figures. In early June, the issue was 5%. Today, it’s 17% — actually above the 16% of Americans whose disgust with government is their #1 issue. It’s a Congressman’s worst nightmare: a self-reinforcing race to the top. The higher the immigration story goes, the worse the federal government looks.
What’s a Republican Congressman to do?
House Republicans are hunkered down, desperately hoping this will just go away. They have postponed voting on the “not an amnesty bill — trust us” until the media feeding frenzy fades.
In January, Boehner was ready to work out a deal with Obama. In late May, he was waffling. On June 30, he bailed. “You’re on your own, Bro!” Paul Ryan lamented this at Hillsdale College this week. It’s just not fair!
The media feeding frenzy continues. Drudge knows what sells. This story is selling.
Apparently, Jonathan and Martha are not ready to cooperate.
75% of these dupes come from central america. hmm.
they are being escorted by a more efficient network of human smugglers.
the north bound train, ‘la bestia’ is a preferred mode of transport and the destination is Texas.
Jorge Ramos interrupted the show last night to editorialize about the (US government) intention to deport these young illegals. He opined that such a move is inhumane. Fuck Jorge Ramos, he has money, he vacations in Cancun with his sexpot girlfriend. Do I have money to take the sexy mulatta to Cancun? No.
And anyway, isn’t he supposed to be a journalist? Everybody’s a politician nowadays.
The sexy mulatta says she heard they (the government) are offering ~$6000 a month to a family who will provide shelter to one of these kids. Wow. I tell her they have scabies and other illnesses; you never want to take a free blanket from the government.
My mom says, They are asking people to donate water, Pampers. When you were kids, we used diapers, we washed them. These people want things the easy way.
As for the pictures above, my nephew says it’s worse, most of the infiltrators there are narcotics smugglers.
