IS EBOLA JUST ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO DISTRACT THE IGNORANT MASSES WITH FEAR?

If it looks like a government manufactured crisis, smells like a government manufactured crisis, and the captured MSM does their part to promote crisis and fear, it’s probably a government manufactured crisis. Do you notice how the MSM and the government have done a 180 degree shift from Putin shooting down an airliner (another false flag) to this new worldwide Ebola crisis? Why would the government allow these two infected Americans back into the country? They won’t let you on a plane if you have the mumps, measles or chickenpox.

The economic situation of this country sucks, no matter what you are told on the boob tube by the corporate propaganda media. US influence around the world is in rapid decline. Everything we touch goes to shit instantaneously (Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Ukraine). The people need to be kept in a constant state of fear from terrorists, the Russians, Iran, and now from the terrible Ebola virus. Throw in a few Plague victims in Colorado for good measure. They don’t want you focusing on the Ponzi scheme and pillaging of wealth being pulled off by TPTB.

This is nothing more than another government method of keeping the sheep penned in and frightened. Trust the government to keep you safe. Sacrifice some more liberties and freedoms. The majority will quiver as they have been conditioned to over the years. When will people wake up from their stupor and realize what is happening?

Don't Fear Ebola, Fear the State

by Kurt Nimmo | Infowars.com | August 1, 2014

It is difficult to contract the deadly viral disease Ebola.

In order to get it, you have to be in direct contact with blood and other body fluids from an infected person or animal. Aerosol transmission is not possible. The possibility of widespread transmission is extremely low due to a high fatality rate and the remote areas where infections usually occur.

According to some members of the medical establishment and the corporate media, the spread of the disease is out of control in the African nations of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. A chart posted on Daily Mail claims 1,201 people in those countries tested positive for the disease and 672 have died this year. The Daily Mail says Ebola is “as infectious as flu,” a claim that is patently untrue.

As Jon Rappoport told Alex Jones on Thursday, the death rate from Ebola is nearly infinitesimal when compared to seasonal flu, which kills between three and five million people every year. Like previous “pandemic” diseases like Swine Flu and West Nile, Ebola is being exploited and exaggerated as part of a psychological operation by government.

Disease, natural disaster, and man-made crises are routinely exploited by government as pretexts to enlarge and extend its power and reach. The state and its propaganda media thrive on one manufactured crisis after another as part of a systematic effort to ramp up the police state. The goal is not protection of the people. It is an all-encompassing surveillance state with a militarized component designed not to save us from evil terrorists or scary diseases, but control the population and maintain through fear and violence its political monopoly.

A fear-mongered Ebola – far less threatening to the average American than a stay at the hospital or driving a car – will be used to impose new restrictions on the movement of citizens. The CDC website reveals what the government plans to do in the event the difficult to spread disease arrives in America – enforce isolation, quarantine, and government decree enforced at gunpoint. “In addition to serving as medical functions, isolation and quarantine also are ‘police power’ functions, derived from the right of the state to take action affecting individuals for the benefit of society,” the CDC states.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon is on its game. “The military has response plans in place for national emergency events that could include anything from a pandemic outbreak to economic collapse, both of which could lead to civil unrest,” writes Mac Slavo. “The Department of Defense informed Congress that it has deployed biological diagnostic systems to National Guard support teams in all 50 states” despite a complete lack of Ebola cases and the improbability of a pandemic.

In addition to providing an excuse for an enlargement of government and military power, hyped up pandemic threats are used by transnational corporations to increase profits.

In 2010 the outgoing Chair of the Council of Europe’s Sub-committee on Health, Wolfgang Wodarg, told the Alex Jones Show that the 2009 swine flu pandemic was a hoax manufactured by pharmaceutical companies in league with the WHO to make large profits while endangering public health. “It is their trick that they always try to monopolize this and we pay much more like this,” said Wodarg.

Fast tracked vaccines that may become mandatory

The National Institutes of Health, a biomedical research facility under the Department of Health & Human Services, has announced it is working with another government behemoth, the Food and Drug Administration, to fast track an Ebola vaccine.

“We are starting to discuss some deals with pharmaceutical companies to help scale it up, so on an emergency basis, it might be available in 2015 for health workers who are putting themselves at extreme risk,” Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Fast tracked vaccines and accompanying pandemic psychological warfare has resulted in the state and its supported institutions – including hospitals, schools and even private daycare centers – making flu vaccines mandatory for workers.

The New York Times and the establishment media are now demanding mandatory vaccinations for children and the elimination of all exemptions. As if that is not bad enough, some are calling for mandatory participation in vaccine clinical trials as well.

“Many societies already mandate that citizens undertake activities for the good of society,” writes Susanne Sheehy for the American Medical Association, a government-sanctioned cartel that specializes in making healthcare unaffordable.

Beware when government and its preferred corporate partners argue in favor of mandatory activities supposedly for the good of society.

This invariably results in authoritarian behavior, conscription, and wealth confiscation at gunpoint.

Yes, absolutely. Its all anyone is talking about which is fucking hysterical. Ask them about Israel/Gaza or the Ukrainian-Russia War and they don’t know a damned thing.

But they know ebola melts you, and its on its way to the US.

I spent 45 minutes at the water cooler just lecturing and assuaging fears. This not something to be worried about, if ebola hit the US I would expect to see single digit deaths at the WORST.

Damn people are lemmings.

Over crowding, poor sanitary conditions and a backward culture in west Africa are some of the things that will bring population control to that area. In the not to distant future antibiotic resistant bacteria will push healthcare in developed countries back 80 years. Nature has a way of adapting to human intervention.

ThePessimisticChemist is spot on, as I’ve a background in biological sciences, and I read the first major reportage on this when it came out some 20+ years ago.

Yes, it IS a bad-ass bug, so to speak, but to get semi-hysterical at this point is pointless –unless TPTB are using it as yet one more made-to-order distraction, so that neither the left nor right hands know WtF is going on.

==========================

Some of you know that I have written a book that many people find controversial. It is called State of Fear, and I want to tell you how I came to write it. Because up until five years ago, I had very conventional ideas about the environment and the success of the environmental movement.

The book really began in 1998, when I decided to write a novel about a global disaster. In the course of my preparation, I rather casually reviewed what had happened in Chernobyl, since that was the worst manmade disaster in recent times that I knew about.

What I discovered stunned me. Chernobyl was a tragic event, but nothing remotely close to the global catastrophe I was imagining. About 50 people had died in Chernobyl, roughly the number of Americans that die every day in traffic accidents. I don’t mean to be gruesome, but it was a setback for me. You can’t write a novel about a global disaster in which only 50 people die.

Undaunted, I began to research other kinds of disasters that might fulfill my novelistic requirements. That’s when I began to realize how big our planet really is, and how resilient its systems seem to be. Even though I wanted to create a fictional catastrophe of global proportions, I found it hard to come up with a credible example. In the end, I set the book aside, and wrote Prey instead.

But the shock that I had experienced reverberated in me for a while. Because what I had been led to believe about Chernobyl was not merely wrong-it was astonishingly wrong. Let’s review that.

The initial reports in 1986 claimed 2,000 dead, and an unknown number of future deaths and deformities arising in a wide swath from Sweden to the Black Sea. As the years passed, the numbers rose; by 2000 there were 15,000-30,000 estimated dead, and so on…

Now, to report that 15,000-30,000 people are dead, when the actual number is 56, represents a big error. To get some idea of just how big, suppose we lined all the victims up in a row. If 56 people are each represented by one foot of space, then 56 feet is roughly the distance from me to the fourth row of the auditorium. Fifteen thousand people is three miles away. It seems difficult to make a mistake of that scale.

But, of course, you think, we are talking about radiation: what about long-term consequences? Unfortunately for the media, their reports are even less accurate.

So: estimates of 3.5 million, or 500,000 deaths, when the actual number is less than 4,000. That’s the number of Americans who die of adverse drug reactions every six weeks. Again, a huge error.

But most troubling of all, according to the UN report, is that “the largest public health problem created by the accident” is the “damaging psychological impact [due] to a lack of accurate information…[manifesting] as negative self-assessments of health, belief in a shortened life expectancy, lack of initiative, and dependency on assistance from the state.”

In other words, the greatest damage to the people of Chernobyl was caused by bad information. These people weren’t blighted by radiation so much as by terrifying but false information. We ought to ponder, for a minute, exactly what that implies. We demand strict controls on radiation because it is such a health hazard. But clearly Chernobyl suggests that false information can be a health hazard as damaging as radiation. I am not saying radiation is not a threat. I am not saying Chernobyl was not a genuinely serious event.

BUT THOUSANDS OF UKRAINIANS WHO DIDN’T DIE WERE MADE INVALIDS OUT OF FEAR. THEY WERE TOLD TO BE AFRAID. THEY WERE TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO DIE WHEN THEY WEREN’T. THEY WERE TOLD THEIR CHILDREN WOULD BE DEFORMED WHEN THEY WEREN’T. THEY WERE TOLD THEY COULDN’T HAVE CHILDREN WHEN THEY COULD. THEY WERE AUTHORITATIVELY PROMISED A FUTURE OF CANCER, DEFORMITIES, PAIN AND DECAY. IT’S NO WONDER THEY RESPONDED AS THEY DID.

IN FACT, WE NEED TO RECOGNIZE THAT THIS KIND OF HUMAN RESPONSE IS WELL-DOCUMENTED. AUTHORITATIVELY TELLING PEOPLE THEY ARE GOING TO DIE CAN IN ITSELF BE FATAL.

I believe you are on the right track, however the hype is not so much to divert your attention from world events as it is a blank check to test martial law, travel restrictions, and door-to-door searches and confiscations. The greatest danger to the virus is not the virus itself, but the unbridled government response. The oppressors will be welcomed with open arms by the frightened populace. Years of zombie movies and other propaganda has paved the way for what this could turn out to be.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Ship_%28TV_series%29
The Last Ship is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series that is based on a novel of the same name by William Brinkley. In May 2013, the cable network TNT placed a 10-episode order for the series. After a global pandemic kills or sickens possibly over 50% of the world’s population, the crew (consisting of 217 men and women) of a lone unaffected U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer, the fictional USS Nathan James (DDG-151), must try to find a cure and stop the virus in order to save humanity.

In the last article, I presented this map and posed the question, why would the military make a decided effort to keep our Navy in a permanent state of readiness by conducting unprecedented and an unparalleled set of war games continuously going on off of our three coastlines and several of our overseas territories? Guesses ranged from positioning the Navy, Marines and a fair amount of the Air Force off the coast to keep Americans from running if they are put in harms way when martial law is declared.

I vote “no”. Ebola is not a conspiracy. Ebola is Ebola. The US would gladly use any naturally-occurring crisis or incident (volcano, earthquake, Ebola outbreak, etc.) to distract from anything embarrassing, etc., but Ebola is not “an attempt”. Ebola is Ebola. The problem with Ebola – aside from having no cure – is that it doesn’t kill enough people fast enough to stop its spread. The primary means to snuff out an outbreak is to quarantine the afflicted. If it gets here, we ought to quarantine the afflicted. The reason it takes off in Africa (aside from being home for the fruit bats in which it seemingly resides) is that ignorant people don’t understand germs & viruses and often blame outbreaks on witchcraft or even as something promulgated by the white man (since he’s often seen spraying stuff around whenever there’s an Ebola outbreak). But the only way that that ignorance helps the outbreak break out is because it hinders the effort to quarantine people. There have been pandemics in the past and there will be again. Just because H1N1, swine flu and other illnesses haven’t become pandemics doesn’t mean that no disease will ever break out quickly. This is the biggest Ebola outbreak known to have occurred so far. I’d be less concerned that the US government is artificially stoking worry about Ebola than that they are tamping down rightful concern about a disease that could prove damned tough to stop – if people refuse to be quarantined.

Iska Waran
Iska Waran

The problem with Grayson’s proposal to stop “foreign persons” who have been in affected areas from entering the US is that it doesn’t include Americans as well. I have a brother who’s over in those areas fairly often. If he’s goes to an area where being infected by Ebola is a material risk, he shouldn’t be let back into the US without being parked someplace else for a while. Tough shit for him if he wants to pursue his feel-good do-gooder activities. It’s all real funny until somebody loses an eye.

IndenturedServant

Keep the sheople living in fear and perpetuate the illusion that the govt and our politicians are the remedy for those fears.

From the article:
“But instead of trying to keep things isolated to a few areas, global health authorities are going to start sending Ebola patients to other parts of the globe. For example, one German hospital has already agreed to start receiving Ebola patients…”

Well that’s a downright brilliant fucking plan for such a dangerous, possibly pandemic level disease!

Can you imagine what it must be like as an airline passenger with any symptoms of illness right now? I’m sure the DHS drones will protect us at any cost. “So you say you are arriving from Finland and you have hayfever? Riiight! Please step into this room please!”

I can’t find it now but I swear I saw a headline in the last few days that said something like 20,000 people possibly infected with ebola had “gone missing”.

Next up? A rushed to market vaccination with ZERO trials.

Which will bring even worse horrors with it, and oh yeah, they’ll round us up and force the shots on our children and ourselves.

There were scattered reports of a few school districts allowing health workers in to give H1N1 shots to students WITHOUT parents explicit consent. That vaccine was worthless, if not deadly. I personally know two people that got the H1N1 AFTER they received the recommended two vaccinations. The disease – from the damn shots – nearly killed my nephew.

Maybe next time the vaccine will contain the zombie virus, or maybe chemical sterilizations like the WHO and Bill Gates did in South America and Africa.

They are culling us. Ebola, or whatever, just provides the cover needed to do it in the open and the express consent of the herd of sheeples that inhabits this freaked up country.

“NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) – The New York City Department of Health conducted a massive emergency preparedness drill at 30 facilities across the city on Friday.

“They tested the delivery of emergency medications in the event of a biological attack, such as anthrax, or other large-scale public health emergency in the city. The majority of the deliveries will take place to public school buildings.

“It’s the largest surprise drill in the city’s history. The drill was scheduled to take place from approximately 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The majority of participants were given no notice to better test and simulate a real emergency and response.

….

“…The city says it will not share the results of the test due to security concerns. The Health Department says it will use the results to make policy and operational changes to its emergency response plan.”

Whilst it is certainly true that Ebola (and other members of the Filoviridae) kill far fewer people globally than seasonal influenza, remember it is the “per case” mortality that is relevant, i.e. if you are unfortunate enough to contract influenza, your average per case mortality probability is very low (about 1.5% in a non-Pandemic season, rising to about 5% in Pandemic outbreaks, per CDC / WHO statistical data).

Compare this per case mortality with Ebola (55 – 60% per case mortality) and you can see the reason for concern. Add in the inability to “cure” (symptomatic management only, requiring high – level medical intervention), and no vaccine (and I’m sorry, it’ll take well beyond 2015 to develop a vaccine), then there is the definite risk of a global problem.

“A disease where spread is aided by squalor and overcrowding” – describes the conditions in many First World ghettoes, doesn’t it – all Western major cities have their “poorer areas” characterised by overcrowding, poor resources, often substandard sanitation, some worse than others, so “pointing the finger” at the conditions in Africa in order to provide a false sense of superiority counts for nothing, when the West has similar problems, which are “conveniently ignored” by the majority.

So, we really don’t know what will happen (as against “could happen”). With any luck, the current outbreak, though large, will be managed successfully. If not, then there really could be trouble ahead, since a poorly-informed public will panic, and that will be when the real containment problems raise their heads, along the lines of “All the best-laid plans of Mice and Men”!

Argentina Economy Minister: Who believes in the rating agencies?

August 1, 2014
Tallinn, Estonia

What a disaster.

For the second time in the last fifteen or so odd years, Argentina has defaulted on its debt. And as we reported a few weeks ago, there was no easy way out.

Years ago, most of the creditors that Argentina had stiffed in 2001 agreed on a settlement; they accepted a much lower payment than they were actually owed, figuring that getting -some- money back was better than nothing.

But a handful of bondholders, known collectively as the ‘holdouts’, didn’t take the deal.

These were the people who, you know, actually wanted to get paid what they are obliged to receive.

This is the basic equation of credit. One person lends money. The other person borrows money. In any reasonable deal, the lender is supposed to have some sort of recourse to recover his/her capital when the borrower defaults.

If you default on a mortgage, the bank takes the house. Stop making car payments and they send the repo guy to take your vehicle. When a business fails, bondholders can often liquidate the company’s assets.

Argentina has plenty of assets. The government has nationalized just about everything they can get their hands on, including the really despicable theft of a Spanish oil company’s assets.

Clearly this is a government that feels perfectly fine taking other people’s assets when it suits them. But they’re not willing for others to do the same.

So the holdouts sued.

Eventually they found a sympathetic judge in the United States who ordered Argentina to STOP making payments to all the other bondholders until the government could reach an agreement with the holdouts.

I know what you’re thinking– what gives some judge in the United States authority over a sovereign nation?

Nothing. Except that he threatened them with the kiss of death: if Argentina failed to comply with his instructions, he would banish them from the US banking system.

Now… imagine you’re the finance minister of some developing nation out there, watching this all unfold in the newspapers.

Would reading about all of this inspire more confidence in the US government? Would it make you want to continue relying on the US banking system? Use the dollar? Or even hold Treasuries?

Probably not.

The Argentina debacle is a lot of things. But one important lesson is that the rest of the world is watching very closely… and thinking, “No way do I want to end up like that.”

This is a HUGE reason why other countries are now starting to form their own international finance system. They’d rather rely on China and Russia than the Land of the Free.

And the US government is practically begging them all to run away like scalded dogs, further accelerating the decline of the US and the dollar’s dominance.

Argentina’s economic minister summed it up best from New York the other day when a reporter asked him about how a potential default would affect the rating agencies’ outlook on his country.

He said, “Who believes in the rating agencies?” After all, these were the guys who completely missed the 2008 financial crisis… who were slapping AAA ratings on toxic debt, and never accepted responsibility for it.

Why do they still have such a dominant role in the global financial system? And for that matter, why does the dollar?

Why indeed. And as the US keeps up this kind of behavior, it won’t for long.

Mike Moskos

Think about this for a minute: if you have a few patients that might cause a countrywide illness, why would you treat them in a hospital?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to treat them in a FEMA-style trailer or a small building that could be disinfected easily (and later burned) without putting the other patients at risk?

Ebola apparently is not that infectious, but many things are. And they’re treated in hospitals with shared air and doctors/nurses/technicians moving from patient to patient. Just doesn’t make sense.

http://scgnews.com/ebola-what-youre-not-being-told

A study conducted in 2012 showed that Ebola was able to travel between pigs and monkeys that were in separate cages and were never placed in direct contact.

Though the method of transmission in the study was not officially determined, one of the scientists involved, Dr. Gary Kobinger, from the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada, told BBC News that he believed that the infection was spread through large droplets that were suspended in the air.
“What we suspect is happening is large droplets; they can stay in the air, but not long; they don’t go far,” he explained. “But they can be absorbed in the airway, and this is how the infection starts, and this is what we think, because we saw a lot of evidence in the lungs of the non-human primates that the virus got in that way.”

Translation: Ebola IS an airborne virus.

7 Facts About Ebola

Unprecedented Ebola Outbreak. Could It Spread Here?

A new outbreak of Ebola is going on in Africa, and Doctors Without Borders is calling it “an epidemic of a magnitude never seen before”—not because of the number of cases or deaths. There have been more in previous outbreaks. It’s because of how the disease is spreading.

In the past, Ebola has always stayed confined to a small region. This time the same strain of the virus has been found infecting people several hundred miles from the original area.

The questions on the minds of many people who don’t live in Africa are, could it come here? If so, how do I prevent it?
