…Looks like I spoke a little too soon about the Ferguson Riots calming down. Practically minutes after I published, Ferguson erupted AGAIN.
This time, instead of rolling out the tanks and rpg smoke bombs and tear gas, the Gestapo backed off and let the looters ransack at will.
Now, riots themselves are not amusing, but what is really amusing is reading the commentary on Libertarian type blogs like The Burning Platform.
When the first reports and pics came out with the Gestapo in full riot gear rolling into Ferguson in Tanks wearing enough Body Armour to stop a Depleted Uranium Full Metal Jacket Armor Piercing .50 Cal BMG slug, the commentariat (and bloggers of many stripes) all went ballistic themselves about our expanding Police State and Loss of Freedoms, Militarization of the Police, etc.
In round two of the Libertarian Kabuki Theater, as the Gestapo withdraws and lets the Looters Gone Wild show roll into high gear, the SAME folks are back out there asking “Where are the fucking Cops? Why don’t they get out there and start shooting these criminals?” LOL…

Well, in the “Burn Ferguson” thread I wrote exactly that — “You can’t have it both ways.” — and I got 5 thumbs down. Not that I’m pissed about it …. I sometimes really just don’t understand the mindset here.
Lots of comments about a “300 pound thug nigger” stealing a box of cigars. (As if that’s justification for shooting him ten minutes AFTER the event, and in cold-blooded execution style as he was UNARMED with hands in the air begging for his life.) Stupid kid steals a $30 box of cigars. Copfuk commits murder. And some think the ultimate bad guy here is the kid. Sheesh.
Where are 100 post long threads when a Congress Critter embezzles millions, or a bankster steals billions?
Yah, saw your posts Stuck, once again we are on the same page on this one.

I’m going to try to finish my “Pictorial Essay: Medieval Castles” post today. My last Pictorial Essay — about Bridges — actually made it on Lew Rockwell, even though I used potty words, like “fuck”. I’m getting rid of the “fucks” so, I hope it goes GLOBAL … starting with it being posted on Doomstead Diner so, help a poor niggah out, will ya?
I will of course publish the Medieval Castles article, which is sure to assist the Diner in its inexorable climb up the Alexa Mountain. 😉
I got no problem carving up the Monkeys here like Thanksgiving Turkey, but I am rather constricted for time. I got a Vidcast to do today in a few hours with some Mystery guests, if they show up and we can get the tech to work. So I may not be around to fight the good fight until quite a bit later today. I also do need to catch some shuteye tonight, it’s almost 4AM here.

I’ve been mostly busy the past week and am catching up on the ferguson shittacane and was surpised by some of the comments here.
“Cant have it both ways” is exactly the point but that is the root of so many problems. People want safety nets but no/low taxes, a nice but overpowering police force. The proper way for a community and business owners to handle the rioting is how this tat parlor and gun store did it, private people protecting their own shit without being disarmed/harassed by the copfuks and keeping the cowardly/opportunistic looters moving along or taking them off EBT permanently if they try and loot anyway.
I saw the pics of what might be mike brown strongarming/robbing a week after the shooting as if that justifies the shooting. It comes out very close to the time the copfuks name is released, they are trying to gain sympathy and paint a narrative that we will likely never really know what really happened.
Harry ,glad your back .I just wish we had something good to talk about. Like how the cops killed every body that was rioting . Maybe one day the cops will open fire on the neegrows. Gives us something to look forward to.
Police are not there when you most need them and at all other times make a nuisance of themselves.

By 2008-2012, 38 percent of poor residents in the suburbs lived in neighborhoods with poverty rates of 20 percent or higher. For poor black residents in those communities, the figure was 53 percent.”

its not even teh police presence is strong, they don’t stop the looting effectively but then they roll around in daylight in fatigues intimidating people and trying to convince the world that their 1/2″ peckers are in fact 10 inch johnsons.
the police don’t arrest any of the wall street crooks, crooked politicians but are ready to assault this black guy with a cabelas hat. he must be a looter and stole that hat because black people dont’ buy stuff from cabela’s, therefore the hat must be stolen.
