The chief Golfer of the United States is taking time out from night putting with Reggie Love to address the nation tonight. It’s funny, but I don’t know anyone who favors going to war again in Iraq to defeat some terrorist group created by the CIA and armed by the U.S. in our other war in Syria. But our beloved corporate media propaganda machine has conveniently published a poll that shows Americans overwhelmingly want us to go to war with a group who didn’t exist six months ago, but are now an existential threat to our freedoms and very existence as a nation. McCain and the rest of the Fox News Neo-Cons assure us that ISIS is pouring over our southern borders to blow us all up.
If you ever needed more proof that One Party runs this country, this bullshit episode of fear mongering takes the cake. You know this poll was manufactured on the eve of Obama’s war speech to give the sheep confidence this is the right thing to do. The military industrial complex was in danger of seeing falling profits. They need a new enemy. Everything Obama touches turns to shit domestically. He needs a wag the dog war to distract the sheep from his immigration debacle, his Obamacare clusterfuck, his $1 trillion deficits that have destroyed the middle class, his jobless jobs recovery, his housing recovery without home buyers, and a myriad of other fuckups.
Make no mistake about it, Obama is proposing war in Iraq. If you shoot missiles and use aircraft to blow shit up, you are at war. According to the Constitution, only Congress can declare war. But Obama and the feckless politicians in Washington DC piss on the Constitution. President Executive Order will do as he wishes. Everyone in Washington DC loves war. They love creating non-existent threats. When did the JV team become so dangerous? Why did we arm these same Muslims in Syria when trying to depose Assad for the Saudi/Qatar pipeline to Europe? Where did ISIS get all their money to get all that military equipment? Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Israel, U.S????
So Obama is going to propose that we spend billions blowing up the billions in military equipment that we shipped over to Iraq in the last ten years. Who benefits from this circular clusterfuck? Arms dealers and debt peddlers. Who runs this country? Wall Street and the military industrial complex, that includes the millions of government workers and the politicians in the pockets of the banks and corporations.
Does anyone actually believe the results of this poll? Are the sheep in this country really that stupid? Are they really that fearful of a bunch of ragheaded camel jockeys in a country 10,000 miles from our shores? What do they think we will achieve by blowing up this faction of radical Muslims? Another faction of radical Muslims will just appear in another six months. Is this exactly what TPTB want? Obama doing this on the eve of 9/11 is a disgusting display of playing upon the fears of the ignorant masses. I truly despise the man.
This country already adds $2 billion per day to the national debt. We already have $200 trillion of unfunded promises on the books. We already spend $1 trillion per year on the military. And the majority of Americans want to ramp up our intervention in the affairs of other countries? Is it because we have been so successful in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Ukraine, Yemen and Iran? This is beyond the comprehension of any rational thinking human being. Living in the midst of morons, criminals, liars, propagandists, and greedy fucks during the decline of this warfare/welfare state is surreal and infuriating. I just want to scream when I think of the idiocy playing out across this world.
WSJ/NBC Poll: Almost Two-Thirds of Americans Back Attacking Militants
President Barack Obama will lay out plans on Wednesday to combat the militant group Islamic State to an American public that has grown increasingly hawkish.
Almost two-thirds of participants in a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll believe it is in the nation’s interest to confront the group, known as ISIS and as ISIL, which has swept through Syria and northern Iraq and recently beheaded two U.S. journalists. Only 13% saw no national interest in acting.
In addition, some 40% in those polled said any U.S. military action against ISIS should be limited to airstrikes, and an additional 34% backed both airstrikes and committing U.S. ground troops to the battle–a remarkable mood swing for an electorate that just a year ago recoiled at Mr. Obama’s proposal to launch airstrikes against Syria.
Obama Lays Out Broad Strategy for Years of War Against ISIS
White House Denies ‘Mission Creep’ as War Expands
by Jason Ditz, September 09, 2014
All of the specifics won’t be available until Wednesday night, but those who were given a “preview” of President Obama’s strategy for the ISIS war say he is laying out a massive undertaking to wipe out the militant group worldwide.
Brookings President Strobe Talbott says that the administration presented ISIS as a “unique danger, not just for the region, but for the world,” and one that the US could only respond to by exterminating it.
What started out as an “emergency” humanitarian campaign to save people trapped on Mount Sinjar, most of whom weren’t trapped there to begin with, has escalated in a matter of weeks into an open-ended war with ISIS that even the most optimistic Pentagon planners say is going to take years.
While he publicly hasn’t confirmed the plans yet, expanding the war from Iraq into neighboring Syria also seems a foregone conclusion at some point, as officials have been downplaying the idea that they could stop ISIS in one country without stopping them planet-wide.
A global war with no strategy for victory and no end in sight certainly wasn’t what the American public were presented with when the campaign began, but White House officials continue to deny that “mission creep” is occurring.
Mission creep has long been a very slow process of escalating the goals of a war, but the administration still hasn’t made it clear that what they’ve set out so far is the totality of the war’s goals, and perhaps more disconcertingly, it’s escalated at a pace far beyond any reasonable definition of “creep.”
The White House tried to pass off the expansion of the war into Anbar as protecting the Baghdad Airport, on the notion that if the Haditha Dam was destroyed it might conceivably threaten the airport, just under 200 miles downstream and not actually built along the shoreline.
But wiping out ISIS in multiple countries and putting something more pro-US in its place is a far broader goal than “keeping the embassy safe” or some other platitude about why the new war was launched, and the scariest part is we aren’t even sure that’s where it’ll finish off, with officials tacking new goals on seemingly every couple of days. Obama’s Wednesday speech will in no way resemble his start of the war speech, and his speech a few weeks down the road will probably be starkly more bellicose, as the war keeps expanding.
Obama Plans To Fight ISIS By… Giving More Weapons To ISIS?
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/10/2014 11:48 -0400
It appears that, in a rush to get his strategy out the door, President Obama overlooked his key “do nothing stupid” foreign policy plan.
OBAMA SAID TO SEEK CONGRESS AUTHORITY TO ARM SYRIAN REBELS
So – to be clear – the strategy to defeat ISIS is to arm more of the same “rebels” that ultimately split off and became, well, ISIS?
Perhaps it’s better if Obama sticks to his original “no strategy” plan after all… if only for the people, not so much the military-industrial complex of course.
* * *
Remember Those ‘Moderate’ Syrian Rebels That The U.S. Armed? ISIS Got Some Of Those Weapons Too
As the Syrian Civil War has waged on over the past few years, the United States, along with Arab states such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, decided to arm the Syrian rebels under the “Free Syrian Army” umbrella.
The shipments of former Yugoslavian Army weapons held by the Croatians, along with newly manufactured Croatian weapons, began in November 2012, according to The Telegraph UK. The weapons were flown out of Croatia on chartered flights to Jordan and then smuggled into Syria.
Fast forward to the rise of ISIS and their blitzkreig campaign across northern Iraq. An investigation by the arms control organization Conflict Armament Research has found that various U.S. supplied weapons have wound up in the hands of ISIS.
AFP reports:
The study by the London-based small-arms research organisation Conflict Armament Research documented weapons seized by Kurdish forces from militants in Iraq and Syria over a 10-day period in July.
The report said the jihadists disposed of “significant quantities” of US-made small arms including M16 assault rifles and included photos showing the markings “Property of US Govt”.
It also found that anti-tank rockets used by IS in Syria were “identical to M79 rockets transferred by Saudi Arabia to forces operating under the Free Syrian Army umbrella in 2013?.
The U.S.-made small arm in question is the M16A4 assault rifle. It is the main service rifle of the U.S. Marine Corps and sees limited use in the U.S. Army. More importantly, thousands of them were supplied to the Iraqi Army. The source of ISIS’s M16s, along with other U.S. made weapons, is likely captured Iraqi Army stocks.
As for the M79s, they were part of the arms shipments from Croatia that were meant for the Free Syrian Army. The weapons were either captured, or acquired by former FSA fighters as they joined ISIS.
The lesson to be learned here is that foreign policy decisions often have unintended consequences. As the U.S. contemplates what future action it will take to combat ISIS, it needs to be sure to learn those lessons of the past.
History follows a deterministic path.
The mob (sharing The Hivemind) swings from despair to euphoria and back in a defined pattern.
Within that pattern, it (the mob, a single creature of many individual cells that behaves as a unit) behaves in predictable ways.
The USA mob is retrograde, chauvinistic, slovenly, and besotted with Gladiatorial Games. It is Neo-Sparta, a society saturated with a love of power exercised by violence. It is like a single, massive, grossly fat, “enstupidated,” and overwhelmingly belligerent.
Bankrupt to the point of farce, the illusion of wealth still lets the mob gleefully support rulers who export violence in large doses, especially when doing so using America’s Vast Armory of Whiz-Bang 22nd century weapons to bitch-slap the wogs in Can’t-find-on-a-Mapistan.
Send in the Reaper Drones, Send in the Raptors, Send in the Cruise Missiles and teach those heathens a few lessons (by shattering the bodies of their 5 year old daughters and sons…after all, there are no innocents, only people who support or fail to overthrow their own local dictators, the ones America has chosen to HATE.)
After all, if our NFL team didn’t cripple the other team’s quarterback on Monday Night Football the other day, at least “we” can vicariously do the victory dance after a Hellfire missile blows the legs off another child.
Not to worry, however. The hivemind will discover other, much more local things to hate, to maim and to murder once the illusion of wealth finally dissipates. Slaughtering the locals will be mass murder on the cheap once the Police-the-World gravy train runs out.
DC Sunsets, great post.
You are describing the human species as a whole. I have come to consider our situation hopeless. Human nature has not changed one iota since mobs at Roman amphitheaters cheered as slaves and Christians were ripped apart by lions.
As I’ve noted before, I’ve witnessed well-educated (up to physician) people discuss transparent propaganda like it was verifiable fact.
That their cognition was entirely being sock-puppeted was astonishing. I felt like asking them if they worried that having someone’s arm rammed that far up their asses so as to be working their mouths might predispose them to developing hemorrhoids.
Obama is simply doing what his focus-group-PR firms tell him. Social mood is sinking across a broad swath of the populace despite the stock market’s normally accurate barometer of such things, a fact we can infer from Obama’s approval rating sinking lower than GWB’s.
Presidents have long been told that prosecuting wars is THE tonic for presidential approval.
This is a mistake, however; it confuses correlation with causation.
The decline we’re in will make multiple presidents look like morons. GWB was one, and Obama is guaranteed, I think, to be even worse. If so, the more bombs he drops, ultimately the worse will be his “legacy.”

US Chopper Squadron Invades Poland, Accidentally
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/10/2014 13:47 -0400
No, this is not from The Onion. Bloomberg reports that six U.S. army helicopters landed in a rapeseed field in northern Poland to ask for directions after veering off course on their way back from military exercises. Locals were alarmed and explained, “we know that security is the most important thing right now… But thank God it was the Americans.” We wonder how long before Sikorski proclaims this an invasion and demands NATO react…
As Bloomberg reports,
Five Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and one tandem-rotor Boeing Co. Chinook chopper touched down near the village of Gruta, 220 kilometers (140 miles) north of Warsaw at about noon yesterday, according to local eyewitnesses. Some residents were at first spooked at the sight of the aircraft, Halina Kowalkowska, the village’s head, said by phone.
“We know that security is the most important thing right now,” Kowalkowska said. “But thank God it was the Americans.”
…
“The Americans came over and asked where they landed,” Waldemar Krukowski, a local resident, told TVN24 television. “They wanted to know the name of the village.”
Residents brought in leaflets in English about their village and handed them to soldiers, according to Kowalkowska.
…
“It was a heavy, thick fog and you could barely see anything, so the boys had to land,” she said. “I’m still shaking after a sleepless night.”
…
Twelve aircraft in total made an unscheduled landing on their way from Lithuania yesterday and the day before in what’s a “standard procedure” in poor visibility, according to army officials.
Chicago, I agree. Humans are biologically indistinguishable from our ancestors who hunted and gathered 10,000 years ago.
Sallust said it well, 2000 years ago: “Most men do not desire liberty; most only wish for a just master.”

For what (little) it’s worth, I am not without hope.
No, I don’t think humanity will transcend its natural limitations. I do, however, think small parts of it (Nock’s “Remnant”) can and do side-step some of the more grossly stupid trends.
Isn’t that what you and I do when we surf the net, read and consider the points of data?
We aren’t doing this because we enjoy an endless diet of tragedy and folly. For that we could turn on the TV news.
No, we’re trying to discern the important data (important to you, and to me) as part of our own little OODA loop.
Observe
Orient
Decide
Act.
This is how volitional creatures tackle life.
Most of our Hivemind brethren Observe only what the Hivemind tells them, Orient only toward what their Hivemind filters let through, Decided only what the sock-puppeteers tell them, and Act like cells in a multicellular fungus…i.e., they do what all the other cells do.
You and I, my friend, are at least attempting to Observe reality, Orient toward what really matters to us, Decide on the best course of action regardless of what our brethren decide, and Act according to our own lights.
We may Observe the wrong stuff. We could Orient toward less important data. We could Decide based on sample bias or bad data and our Actions might be purest folly….
BUT
At least we’re trying. I think that gives us better odds than simply floating down the stream like a head-rotted fish. We may reach different conclusions based on different premises, but you and I are, I believe, part of Nock’s Remnant.
The remnant is the essential leavening humanity requires to continue to exist. We have a role to play. If nothing else, at least we can be smug when we watch the sock puppets around us with some guy’s arm hanging out of their pants.
I’m wondering when the rest of the world will become mad as hell and snap back at us.
And I don’t mean a singular terrorist attack like a bomb or a plane, but a mass gas attack, or some type of airborne pathogen, or cripple the grid, something that will freeze this country for weeks, or months.
Hell two brothers and a damn pressure cooker crippled Boston for days, what would happen if there were simultaneous attacks across the country.
Speaking of Boston, my cousin is part owner of a large corporation there, he is so convinced and “fearful of a bunch of ragheaded camel jockeys in a country 10,000 miles from our shores” that he personally cancelled all corporate flights since Sept 8th, no one from the company will fly until he sounds the all clear. He loves drones and he cheers for the military to “go in there and kill them all”, as if our boys were invincible.
TBP Quote of the day:
“The remnant is the essential leavening humanity requires to continue to exist. We have a role to play. If nothing else, at least we can be smug when we watch the sock puppets around us with some guy’s arm hanging out of their pants.”
I just got this survey by email from my congressman. I answered No to all the questions.
I answered that I hope to hear Obama’s resignation tonight.
I answered that we are broke and can’t police the world.
Dear Friend,
I wanted to take a brief moment to get your thoughts on the ongoing situation involving the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. President Obama will be addressing the nation later tonight, and I’d like to have the benefit of your input as I continue to work on and debate this issue with my colleauges in Congress.
Please take a moment to answer the below questions. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me on this important topic.
Do you believe the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria threatens the United States and its interests?
Yes
No
Don’t Know
Do you believe the United States should strike targets within Syria as part of a larger campaign to destroy ISIS?
Yes
No
Don’t know
Do you believe the United States should use ground troops in the effort to destroy ISIS?
Yes
No
Don’t know
What do you hope to hear from President Obama tonight?
Please include any other thoughts you have on this topic.
Can you imagine the reaction of FOX if the great black Satan Obama said the threat is SO bad, we need to tax everyone in the country $10 to fight? Then he’d be the double Satan.
Frumpy Janet at the Fed better abandon her “tapering” cause we’re going to need every $ lickety split.
“Back then, Bush’s extremist assault on civil liberties, human rights and other core American values in the name of fighting terror felt like an aberration. The expectation was that those policies would be quickly reversed, discredited — and explicitly outlawed — once he was no longer in power. Instead, under President Barack Obama, they’ve become institutionalized. There will be no snapping back to a pre-Bush-era. Thanks to Obama, it’s going to be a hard, long fight.”
Dan Froomkin
I can’t listen to Obama tonight because I have plans to take a dump and because Obama. I would only start to consider anything he says on ISIS if he first apologizes for almost bombing Assad a year ago over that false flag poison gas attack (the one we haven’t heard shit about for 11 months). I love how he’ll only call them “ISIL” because he doesn’t want the name Islamic State of Iraq and Syria to remind everyone of Obama’s so-recent Syrian scheming. We should stay out, with the possible exception of arming the Kurds, since they’re…Kurds. Seems like the Persians & Alawites are the least bad people in the region, which explains why the Russians are on their side and we’re – like morons – trying to help Sunni Arabs.
I’d learn more from watching the Kardashians or Cake Wars than watching the teleprompter in chief.
Card802
Is this a picture of your cousin?
Apparently Obama still wants to arm the “moderate Syrian rebels”. As if they exist. He cant bring himself to admit that the Alawite government in Syria is the best that can be expected there.
We’re a country of pathetic pussies and sheep.
For fuck’s sake, we have 240,000 fucking DHS drones supposedly protecting us. The fucking NSA captures every electronic transmission by everyone in the fucking country. The TSA does an anal cavity search on every traveler. Every podunk police force in the country has military weapons.
What the fuck are the sheep afraid of? Do they really think they are going to get beheaded by an ISIS terrorist?
A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll exclusive poll reveals that 47% of Americans believe the country is less safe now than before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. That’s a significant increase from even a year after the twin towers fell when in September 2002 just 20% of the country said the nation was less safe. The level of fear across America also is up substantially from last year when 28% felt the same way.
And a whopping 94 percent of Americans say they have heard about the news of the beheaded journalists – higher than any other news event the NBC/WSJ poll has measured over the past five years.
Card802
You nailed it. The default setting for our Police State is “Lockdown.”
If there were even a tiny, coordinated element of “attack,” the whole country would be frozen in time.
The entire notion of this is laughter-inducing. Truly, we are ruled by idiots (and of course, only idiots are ruled by idiots.)
We can’t alter the course of the Borg Collective. The Hivemind dictates the Utter Stupid Quotient around us.
All we can do is be invisible when prudence demands it, and keep our heads while others panic.
I for one question that “behead the reporter” video crap.
Maybe those guys are really dead.
Maybe the clowns claiming to have killed them did so.
I would not be at all surprise if the CIA or other Perception Management groups are actually behind it, if it did happen (or if it is well-choreographed smoke and mirrors.)
The whole thing stinks, though. It’s way too effective at pulling people’s strings to not be psyops.
I can dig up the URL’s for the beheading videos if anyone doubts they are real. I don’t trust the goobermint and I tend to believe ISIS is a CIA/govt/PTB created or assisted entity but I’m quite certain the beheadings are real. I’ve seen the beheadings of all the westerners*** and a few easterners as well along with quite a few videos of what these muslim swine savages do to other muslims. Given a choice of beheading via pocket knife or some of the other horrific shit they do to each other………..I’ll take the beheading.
***Daniel Pearls beheading video is the only one I’ve not seen because video of the actual deed id edited out. Before and after video looks pretty conclusive though.
Card802 said:
“Hell two brothers and a damn pressure cooker crippled Boston for days, what would happen if there were simultaneous attacks across the country.”
If the attack were egregious enough, citizens will start killing “ragheads” in the streets. It would be like the aftermath of 9/11. The full blown retards around here (more than 2500 miles away from ground zero) were going after Sikh Indians because they wore turbans. I believe quite a few “raghead” murders were carried out in those days across the country.
Two brothers did not cripple Boston….your taxpayer funded “security apparatus” and Edward Bernays techniques along with compliant sheep crippled Boston.
IS, do the latest videos actually show someone sawing through all the gristle and cartilage?
I’m not throwing you under the bus on this; I was just left with impression that the video as posted by “ISIS” or whatever had a break between the “victim” talking and the head sitting on the body. My assumption based on my own experience in surgery is that if one were to actually cut off the head of a man, blood would geyser 15 feet in unpredictable directions, and anyone actually doing the sawing would be covered head to toe in warm, sticky blood. Even a minor 1mm artery in the hand shoots blood five feet up and five feet away.
I would also think that unless done with a sword, a kukri or an axe, it would be necessary to tie up the person and tie them down as well otherwise they’d lash out and fight like a madman unless doped to the gills.
Is this what the videos show? (I have no desire to watch them; I don’t go to horror movies for the same reason…and I don’t understand those who relish them.)
IS, given the rhetoric I already see on blogs, a cross-racial donnybrook (with guns) is already a high likelihood.
Whether the perception is moving toward reality or away from it, Caucasians are increasingly concluding that there’s already a war on them and someone in the MSM forgot to relay the notion.
All it takes is a handful of videos to surface of blacks mob-stomping a few whites and the narrative becomes self-feeding and self-fulfilling.
Where it’s going is anyone’s guess, but when this antebellum period does finally end, I’m not sure I want to even have a good tan. People are increasingly aware of their own internal RAGE, and multicultural brow-beating is no longer causing people to police their own thoughts, it’s having the opposite effect and making them insanely angry.
Social mood is still relatively elevated. When it hits nadir, I hope I’ve found a deep cave in which to sit out what ensues.
DC, It takes a lot of digging to find the full videos because they’re are not linked via popular search engines and hosting services keep blocking/deleting them. In order to get around those problems some sites charge a monthly “membership fee” to access content. I don’t pay for that kind of thing.
99% of the videos are edited but the full uncut videos can be found.

Basically the victim is seated on the ground, on his ass or on his knees. The muslim swine executioner will grab the hair or put an armlock around the head and cut a giant smile across the neck from ear to ear. He is typically using enough pressure that he’d likely disembowel himself completely if the victim ever jerked free. This produces a Niagra Falls of blood gushing down the chest and out of the mouth but it does not last long. Sometimes the guy does a little sawing but not usually. The head is then snapped back violently and the victim is pushed forward to the ground and while pushing on the back of the head, the cut is finished on the back of the neck from ear to ear. More often than not this is where the sawing action happens. Sometimes the body is held between the knees of the muslim swine instead of being pushed to the ground. The body falls away as the trophy is held aloft. Sometimes the trophy still exhibits signs of life. I think most lose consciousness due to the snapping of the neck or loss of blood pressure. This whole process typically takes well under a minute…..maybe 30 seconds. I’m not bothered by blood and guts but the act turns my stomach every time.
Come on everyone! We know mainstream media polls are probably full of shit. Although I also can see how there can be a shitload of paranoid murikans out there. Well, as long as they don’t figure out how to behead an iphone, they’ll all be ok.
DC, I will admit that these videos could be faked. I’ve never been conscious in an operating room although I’d like to be. Like you I don’t watch horror movies but I’d bet that photoshop techniques applied to video could be pretty realistic. The govt and media foster an enormous amount of distrust in those of us that are awake. I’m off to work!
Fuck this shit.
I’m going back downstairs … inhale some more paint fumes …. start feeling better again.
Oh yeah … I hate 90% of Amerikans.
Of course the “WAR!” will take years. As long as the preparations and strategy making and speechifying can stretch 2 more years, it doesn’t matter to him how long it takes. The next blighthouse resident can worry about IS.
There should be no mystery here, there is ONLY ONE REASON why we continually apply pressure to and foment war in the Middle East….OIL…CRUDE OIL…THE LIFE BLOOD OF THE WORLD
IS, unless the real pros are involved, creating a believable beheading (start to finish) would be very difficult, I’d think. A recent story about Hollywood’s efforts suggested that “faking” physics with CGI is very difficult, because we are very keen observers of the little chaotic eddies and details of real physical interactions especially among moving things. We catch fakes pretty well.
I guess the takeaway lesson for me is, NEVER let myself become completely in the control of another. Given our police-state, submit or die zeitgeist now, this becomes quite problematic. I attempt to solve that dilemma by reducing my “noticeability to cops” quotient to as close to zero as possible.
Reading Glenn Greenwald’s description of being alone, driving in Afghanistan’s mountains covering the Soviet games there, while there was a huge price on his head, carrying only a pistol, gives me the willies.
I want to die peacefully in bed after a phenomenally long life, vigorous to almost the very end, surrounded by loving kids, grandkids, great grandkids and maybe even great-great grandkids, having never needed to point a gun at another person.
A man should have goals.

Don’t ever send an email to your friends announcing your position on the Syrian Civil War as “I’ll take Assad.” Even though I clearly explained that we (the U.S.) simply don’t know who we are supporting as Assad’s opponents, and we don’t, and I clearly explained that Assad was a bad guy, but a bad guy we KNOW, my position went over like a lead balloon.
If we would have stayed completely out of that conflict and let the Russians pour in support to Assad, as they have for decades, it would be a lot better today. We know Assad, and his father, and we’d be just watching Muslims killing Muslims. Big deal. They’ve been doing that for about 1,400 years or so.
Less than 3 years of fucking up Libya by killing Gaddafi, we’re repeating the same mistake in Syria. Beam me up, Scottie.
“Are the sheep in this country really that stupid? ”
Bet your life on it.
DC, in 1936 when Nock penned Isaiah’s Job there was still a possibility for the eternally awake to lead the survivors of the herd back from a massive slaughter. With bureaucracy of total command and control so entwined with personal, social and commercial life, I don’t see how a remnant could avoid the ire of the all seeing government eye long enough to effect any real measure of ideological intervention i.e mass deprogramming.
Today one does not eat ,sleep, travel , communicate or work sans government permission and a civil contempt charge can be used to keep anyone incarcerated the rest of the rest of their lives upon order of any black robed thug , 6th amendment be damned.
Taken into account that ideological anonymity is virtually impossible today; one is either a two party supporting statist or the enemy of the state.I think it highly likely that every potential Isaiah has already been searched , analyzed and cataloged for future reference and/or action.
That said, Orwell’s vision of future may be more accurate than any care to suffer the despair to admit.
Bust out some windows then tax the herd to repair them…everybody wins!
spend away boys, the Nobel prize is on US.

Of the two parties worthy of despise, the Republican party is by far the most dangerous and vile , leading the push for war first from the front and then from the behind, but forever with the push on for war and more war.
There isn’t a conflict anywhere in the world that the demonic duo of McCain and Graham can’t justify US entering by first calling it a global crisis and then labeling a threat of US sovereignty , which is only important propaganda for their war effort, but for
these two globalist sons-a-bitches, an invasion on our southern border and trillions in trade deficits have no bearing on national security…none.
The vile and despicable Republican Party can always count on the fascist media to cover their duplicitous involvement when backing war initiated by a Democrat president as has been the case for the last hundred years.
War effort being led by Dem POTUS is a win win situation for the Repug controlled MIC.The war industry will get paid regardless the winner or loser.
So at the behest of the MIC lobby, the Repuke party will stoke the war fires and if the fires blaze out of control ,the inept fall guy Obamey will take the heat…on the golf course with his boy-toy Reggie, of course…stick and stones versus preferential treatment and the promise of future big cash paydays will make all the boo boos go away ..or so the ignorant half-honky fool believes.
Good read here on another war mongering yellow dog journalist .
GEORGE WILL vs VLADIMIR PUTIN
Ah the ‘sins of omission’! The dishonest George Will wants us to forget how his boy John McCain helped to personally incite the Kiev rent-a-mob to stage a violent coup.“America stands with you!”, declared the warmongering Senator from Arizona to the eventual bomb-throwers of the pro-EU mobs of Maidan Square.
@DC Sunsets – “Presidents have long been told that prosecuting wars is THE tonic for presidential approval.”
That may have been somewhat true in the past, but the U.S. has never been at war as long as the current situation (12+ years now?). Also there are so many other things Americans despise about Obummer that it’s doubtful getting into another war will bump his approval rating up–actually, it should take him down a few notches. However, in this crazy “up is down”, “forward is backward” world we live in, who knows what the sheeple will think (if they do think at all).

Obama’s Broad Coalition Cracks – UK, Germany Won’t Support Airstrikes In Syria
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 09/11/2014 11:59 -0400
Well that didn’t take long. After espousing his strategy last night of leading a broad coalition against ISIS, it appears President Obama’s “allies” are backing away from the plan. As The WSJ reports, Germany and the U.K. on Thursday ruled out carrying out air strikes on Islamic State militants in Syria. It appears the Europeans, realizing the ire that these actions will likely cause to Putin, are stepping back – “We haven’t been asked, nor will we do it,” German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told reporters and his U.K. counterpart Philip Hammond explicitly ruled out air strikes in Syria, after the U.K. parliament struck down such a move last year. So that leaves the French?
As The WSJ reports,
Germany and the U.K. on Thursday ruled out carrying out air strikes on Islamic State militants in Syria, a day after President Barack Obama authorized the start of U.S. air strikes there.
“We haven’t been asked, nor will we do it,” German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told reporters when asked about German participation in air strikes against the Islamic State, known as ISIL or ISIS, in light of Mr. Obama’s speech.
“We need to be honest with ourselves in the current situation, we don’t yet have a final, blanket strategy which guarantees that we’ll be successful against ISIS and similar groups,” the German minister said in Berlin.

If you like your new strategy, you can keep it… to yourself
Trying out new USB wi-fi on salvaged tower with P4 processer…got it hooked to huge flat screen via cable.. Faster, even with 54mb connection than my laptop with a 100mb per sec. Weird, right?

Stop meddling in the middle east. It is that simple, they are more interested, as in the hood, with killing, robbing, one another, than taking their sorry ass over the horizon.
