Okay, it’s going on 4 weeks of school and I have yet to turn in the Cute Chicks’ registration forms. Even though I get daily calls from Administration and notes from their teachers, I’m just not that motivated. As a matter of fact, the more they push, the less compliant I feel. Why? you may ask. Well, I’ll tell you…
First, they’ve gone to schools in this district since we moved here in ’99, lived at the same address, had the same phone number, God, I’ve even had the same momvan; but every damn year, I fill out the same damn forms, and I don’t understand why they can’t save it, print it, send it home for corrections if needed. I spend the better part of a day filling out forms I fill out every year.
Second, the main form has gotten ridiculously intrusive in a year when 30,000+ illegal alien kids are attending school with no personal records at all. Not only that, but the school districts are REQUIRED to admit them without any info and aren’t allowed to ask for it. However, I get harassing phone calls and notes, the latest of which informed me that “without registration information, your daughters will not officially be registered students of *ISD and will be considered truant. Please return the forms filled out in entirety to be legally compliant.” FUCK. YOU.
When we started here, the basics needed were shot records (don’t get me started), birth certificate (you know, legal citizen), and proof of county residency. That was it, and you’re in. This year, I filled out FIVE federal forms on race, citizenship, migrant status, homelessness, and school lunch qualification. Each one required Social Security Numbers for both girls and guardians. How do illegals do this? And the main registration form, the one I’m disobediently holding, requires SSN, legal address, mailing address; my SSN, and the make, model, color and license plate of my vehicle plus driver’s license number if I plan on driving on campus to drop off and pick up, their dad’s same info, and the car info and DL number of any friend or family member who could ever possibly drive their vehicle on school grounds. So far, I’m holding out on all the driver info, none of their fucking business, and SSN numbers. When it comes to race, I leave it blank to cause more work. At the bottom of every form asking for race, there’s a note informing you that school personnel will “observe the child and make an assessment of race”. I’m so tempted to send them to school in black face.
So, my protest, as soon as every illegal alien “kid” provides this info with all their illegal alien family members’ driver info and SSNs, I’ll come into compliance.
Fuck Obama.

I applaud the lady who wrote the piece. Non-compliance with bureaucratic diktats is one of only a few paths we have open to us (the other being to voluntarily shrink our incomes to starve the beast of its life-blood…a path I call the “Atlas Shrugged” approach.)
Government schools suck big time. They are the lowest common denominator.
Sooo glad we home schooled. Avoided all that frustration.
My eldest daughter said “FUCK THE SYSTEM” this school year and my grand daughter is going to start her sophomore year of high school in a ‘home schooling’ environment.
My grand daughter goes (went) to the same high school that I went to – Nauset Regional High in Eastham – on Cape Cod. When I was a student there we could wear our BUCK or CASE knifes strapped to our belts and we could have our rifles or shot guns in our vehicles – try that today ! Now the school is infested with security cameras and my grand daughter has told me that last school year they had a couple of unannounced ‘swat team’ raids with drug dogs and body armor and the school was ‘locked down’. What The Fuck is this country turning into ???
The Nazi’s were big on forms too. When ever they ask for race, I put down Human. Even the girl scouts were asking for SS numbers. Ya think they got the right ones. Hey!!! Wasn’t there an SS in Germany a few years back.
People who think that they are entitled, think there entitled to everything about you. Get real, get a life.

Too many people still think they can ignore the rules and do things their own way. Obviously the Lonely Libertarian is one of those disruptive people.
I’d bet that not filling out school forms and turning them in is a crime where Lib lives. If not, it should be. Prosecuting Lib and giving the rebel 30 days in jail would send a message to people to do what they’re told.
This country became great because people obeyed laws, served their country, paid their taxes, believed the truth they were told, and acted like good followers.
One of the troubles of the internet is that we now have a bunch of people examinining everything, undermining the government and our leaders, and then trying to pass along the message to millions. As much as I like Jim Quinn and TBP, I think he and this site are culprits. As an acquaintance of mine, Jackson, said, BI (before the internet), before PCR (Paul Craig Roberts), before TBP (The Burning Platform), before LR (Lew Rockwell.com), before VT (Veterans Times), and before many other internet sites, he was a brainwashed true believer. Now Jackosn complains that JQ and all the other Doubting Thomases have made him sceptical and cynical. Better to be fat – well he is that – dumb, and happy I tell him and leave the important matters to those who know best.
I think it’s REALLY GREAT that IraK’s posts are getting thumbs up. You folks are finally starting to “get it”.

At least my school does print off cards and send them home for returning students. If she stays in the district next year, she changes schools (“upper elementary” breaking bonds and causing distress for students everywhere), so I’m sure the insanity will start again.
Next week darlin’ daughter’s class is going to the Toledo Museum of Art. I simply love the Toledo Museum (great zoo too), even in its taxsucking evilness (I figure I pay for it, might as well enjoy) and would love to go. I’ve gone on every class trip she has ever had. But, for this one the chaperones have to ride the bus (never been allowed before) and we have to fill out an “iChat” (whatever the hell that is) form for background checks. The schools submit to the cops, whom check you out.
I won’t do it. My dd is half heartbroken and half angry with me, but I am standing firm on this one.
Everywhere I turn somebody is requiring more personal information from me than is necessary. My daughter is now in fourth grade having attended the same school since kindergarten. I have volunteered in the classrooms, for the PTA and in the administration every time I have been asked. In addition, my sister in law is a teacher there AND my other sis-in-law (we married brothers) is a substitute. I outright freaking REFUSE to submit to a cop led background check for these people.
I talk to my daughter about homeschooling a lot. This year though, she has a job (everyday lunch aide, free “food” in exchange for missing recess, she barely eats the food and still takes lunch everyday), she has – in her words – “a great teacher,” great friends and loves her “job.” So, the talks for now are on the backburner.
We have become a nation of pansies scared of our own shadows and neighbors. Fed a steady diet of propaganda to keep us believing that these bureaucrats and rectal exams are the only things standing between our children and murderous, anarchist, chaos. While concurrently being fed a steady diet of brain-numbing, health-killing, chemicals that leach from our food, clothing, furniture, air, water and ground.
I doubt that the Roman’s lead poisoning loss of IQ was anywhere close to our everyday life chemical bath.
Sad this stuff makes me. So, so, sad.

Both of my boys have attended the same school district since kindergarten. They are now sophomores in HS. Every year I get a double stack of forms I must return at the start. There are more probing questions added every year and the forms grow. If they are not returned on time, each son must serve an hour after school detention, thus missing the bus home and forcing me to come and pick them up. If I do not agree to the after school detentions and don’t return the forms, then the boys must suffer all day in-school detentions. So, I fill out their forms but only with basic info, leaving most of it blank. No one reads the forms, they don’t care as long as they have the exact number of sheets per student they need. I rebel in my own small way.
