Independence Referendums Since The Second World War

“Should Scotland be an independent country?” 4.3 million Scots will be answering this question today after months of anticipation, discussion and debate. Scotland’s independence referendum certainly stands out – it’s rare for a vote like this to take place in a country free from war, political chaos and violence. South Sudan is the most recent nation to gain its independence after a referendum was passed with almost 99 percent of the vote in 2011. Will Scotland join it and some 22 other countries that have said yes over the past seven decades? We’ll find out tomorrow.

I told the little lady in the Year of Our Lord 1986, as I was studing the lost tribes theory, that there was a Bible prediction of the Stone Of Scone to be overturned again and brought back to the Scotland , and that they will eventually get the ruling authority back! After East Timor seceded, Bush 41 wanted to insure the sea lanes near Indonesia remained open to US attack and ballistic missile subs that use that to get to station off south Asia.

Indonesia got the green light from Bush to wade into East Timor and largely murder every man woman and child. It was the Great Holocaust about which you never heard a thing. I think 2/3rds of East Timor was killed.
