About fifteen years ago I sat in a large meeting room with 40-50 sales coworkers listening to a female moderator discuss the company’s commitment to increasing the “diversity” of the sales force. I looked around the room and quickly discovered that, as a Caucasian male, I was actually the smallest minority attending. Three out of five of those assembled were women, and non-Caucasians were over-represented (compared to college grad percentages) by at least 200-300%.
Of course, for me to have asked any pointed questions of the program provider or my employer-sponsors would have resulted in a fast trip to New Claims for Unemployment, right?
Racism, sexism and homophobia were deemed potent social evils and any thought, comment or deed hewing anywhere near them was not just frowned upon, it provided legal justification for employment termination, school expulsion and even sometimes criminal prosecution.
An entire industry evolved to train people what to think, what to say, and what observations they were prohibited from making. The current First Lady, Michelle Obama, earned what was doubtlessly a very comfortable living reprogramming the minds of anyone harboring Thoughtcrime or insufficiently enthusiastic during the Two Minutes Hate directed at racism, sexism or homophobia.
Intelligence, crime, occupational success and pay rates, social success, cultural success, longevity, all manner of observations were completely forbidden if they were correlated in any way to race, sex or sexual preference.
Two examples?
Herrnstein & Murray’s The Bell Curve. Published in 1994, it set off a firestorm of criticism so hot that to this day I don’t even need to review the taboo subject it discussed, do I? Twenty years ago we know that it was basically professional suicide for a social scientist to discuss race in the same paragraph as intelligence. Right-thinking people everywhere closed ranks and rejected the book’s thesis out of hand, no reading necessary.
Peter Duesberg, the foremost authority on retroviruses at the time Robert Gallo announced (at a press conference) that AIDS was caused by HIV was practically evicted from the scientific community for suggesting that the spectrum of diseases under the AIDS umbrella were mostly due to lifestyle choices among sexually promiscuous gay men. Whether one believed his theory or not, the effort to silence and marginalize his contribution to the discussion remains remarkable, and the failure of HIV/AIDS to meet its proponents’ dire early forecasts can only be compared to the Anthropogenic Global Warming narrative. That AIDS was to sweep the heterosexual community is just another consignee to the Memory Hole.
For decades any objections to the PC program were met with the harshest possible treatment. After all, beneficiaries of White Male Privilege had the skin tone combined with “outie” genitals that made them The Bad Guys in the PC morality play.
Recently, however I’ve noticed a change in the blogosphere and in real life. I’ve noticed that, for the first time, well-educated Caucasian people are willing to discuss, in private and in small groups, how upset they are regarding PC, multiculturalism and the war on observable fact. While controversial, bloggers like Vox Day (Theodore Beale), DailyKenn and recently Ann Barnhart have written what was previously taboo.
The comments left by readers in these fora are increasingly strident. I sense that the reservoir of rage now filled by knuckling under to the multicultural Left is brim-full, and the dam behind which it sits is fracturing under the disunity of a failing social system.
The people who occupy most of the lynchpin occupations and pay the lion’s share of taxes went along with this game as long as they were assured their sons and daughters would follow their footsteps into “the good life.” The dismal prospects for recent college grads is a massive affront to the wheel-running hamsters who keep America’s lights on. The “play-by-the-rules” crowd, whose culture is clearly necessary to the status quo of endless Guns and Butter, is now hanging by the last rope, the S&P 500.
When the effort to game that measure higher predictably fails, so will the dam holding back all that pent-up rage.
Popular consent is required for every political system, but it’s the consent of those doing the actual, economically-required production (not the armies of tax consumers, drone-bureaucrats and endless hangers-on gumming up the system) that really matters. The FSA may be able to riot and burn cities, and AARP’ers may flock to the polls, but it’s the cart-pullers who keep water in the pipes, electricity in the wires, store shelves filled and Obamaphone cell towers turned on.
The Fed can’t simply QE food from the fields, cars from assembly lines or proper sewage treatment.
One day soon the victims of multiculturalism will decide they’ve been beaten and reviled once too often and tell the politicians and their FSA supporters to climb out of the cart and pull themselves or else take a long walk on a short pier. Ann Barnhart is right; the Atlas Shrugged moment is coming.
All this PC bullshit is just as unsustainable as the political and economic bullshit being forced upon us and the end of it cannot come soon enough. Luckily, the end of PC will coincide nicely with the rise of Sharia Law proponents.

You just can’t work for a large company without being bombarded with PC bullshit. My first … literally, my FIRST … day at Hewlett-Packard did not go well. Long story short …. I asked the receptionist to get me a cup of coffee. Lowd Gawd Almighty, you’d have thought I touched her vagina. I was whisked away to a closed office and read the fuckn’ riot act. I thought I was going to get fired.
I went to my seester’s house Sunday to celebrate Dad’s birthday. She looked bedraggled. Long story short … she is doing the job of two people. She works for Johnson&Johnson in their legal department .. she’s a paralegal and works on J&J patent filings, renewals, etc. Her co-worker, a black woman …. it’s almost always a black …. simply can’t do the job, comes and goes as she pleases, and continually plays the race-card. THEY CAN’T FIRE HER.
Well, maybe they can … but, they won’t. They are all terrified of legal actions. Firing a woman, and a black woman, at that? Noooooo!! “Just work harder, sis. We’ll get by.”, they tell her. On top of that she spends a minimum of 2-5 hours every week on some diversity bullshit. That may not sound like much, but she’s been there about 10 years, and it’s literally a weekly thing.
Given the choice of a) life imprisonment or, b) work for corporate America …. I do believe I would choose the former.

The idea is that an unconscious shared “social mood” underlies social action.
One easy way to measure social mood in relatively “real” time is watching the major stock averages. When people are “up” they bid up prices and when they’re down, well—the opposite.
This explains why after a long bull market you tend to have peace, togetherness, happy movies, bright colored fashions, political incumbents win, etc., while after long bear markets you have warfare, horror movies, dark fashions with long dresses, political incumbents are ousted, etc., etc.
Today we have a mix, because in real (inflation-adjusted and in terms of gold) terms the markets are nowhere near All Time Highs. We topped in the “real” bull market back in 2000, and it’s been an on-and-off bear market since then.

When my sweetie and I retired to central Florida, (1996) it took about a month to discover that these were not the American streets nor people we had left many years before to work out of the country.
At first, not so bad. Normal fist fights and assaults and domestic violence (90% black).
As time passed, after the first – but not the last (the last was two days ago) of random shooting at houses and cars(just killed a 14 year old (black) girl who was sleeping in her bed yesterday), use of weapons by convicted felons and much more grand theft, assaulting clerks at Target, 7’11’s, Wally’s Mart and robberies in the parking lots of local supermarkets not to mention purse snatching, shop lifting, gang robberies such that several of the group to distract the store personnel while the rest of them just took what they came in for – the observation camera video I showed one of the bastards looking at a list which he/she (couldn’t tell from the poor quality video) was using to insure the thief go what he wanted!! Such hubris..
About 5 years ago, I started carrying a weapon in the car whenever we had to go to Orlando.
Now I fulltime carry concealed whenever I’m out of the house shopping, whatnot. No, I have never had occasion to use it but it’s like a seat belt. You have to wear a seat belt EVERYTHIME you use the car or it does one no good at all because you never know about a random happening that gets you. I’ve been run into twice in the past year, once a T-bone by a twit talking on her cell phone and rear ended by another more mature twit who was simply driving too fast and following too close.
So now I carry and have done it long enough it almost feels normal.
I personally think we are closer to race violence than at anytime before simply because civilization is miles wide but only three meals thick. As more and more of the poor white, black and hispanic families fall off the end of the ladder. Tribalism will raise its’ ugly head and people will start doing whatever is required to feed their families or to make a profit stealing from the better off and profiting from selling or bartering with the destitute.
I’m not at ease with any of it and it will indeed end badly.

A bit of advice, even though you ain’t asked for none…
Buy a rifle of military usefulness. Learn to use it. Stockpile some ammo. When SHTF goes down, it will be chaos. Bug out if you can, before it goes down. If you can’t, then bug out while it’s going down… the chaos will help screen you. If you wait too long, the only ones left on the streets after a certain point will be predators.
If that happens, move fast and don’t let anyone stop you or slow you down. If thats means “light em up and then step over them”, then that is what that means. Stopping will get you and yours killed. Predators will try anything… shoving an empty baby carriage in front of your car, standing in the road, staging an accident… they’ll even get little, waif like white females with some sob story to try and stop you. Old trick – they’ve been using white females for years like that. Have some white female – the more pathetic looking, the better – go up and knock on your door, just to get you to open it… then bum rush the door.
I know it sounds harsh, but you’re going to have to set aside sentimentality if you want you and yours to see another sunrise after SHTF…

My 10 years at HP were mostly great … except the one miserable year I had a temporary District Manager out of Grand Rapids, who was a backstabbing dickfuk. Big companies or little companies … it’s the immediate Boss-man who makes the difference.
Not sure how this will play out for others. For us, we retired early, as soon as our kids were through college, and basically told my old to company to F OFF. I delivered the last big project I was leading for them and went to a competitor for a sweet deal for 2 years, then retired for real. That was 9 years ago and they have not delivered a single project since then. 9 years!!! and they are still losing money and market share. I wasn’t the only one who left/retired at about the same time. Many of us who were sick and tired of the PC, lack of ethics and cronyism simply walked away and left them to fend for themselves.
My wife and I have done the same with all forms of government. We have arranged our finances so we legally pay the minimum tax possible, travel the country in our motor home and enjoy the bread and circuses from the lame stream media, DC and the various state capitols. I choose to not fight openly, there is no point as the endgame is inevitable. However, I will not support it, nor will I let it ruin my remaining years. And I am trying to coach my kids on how to survive and prosper in the coming chaos.

I was raised by a very racist man, who was raised by a more racist man. In the early 60s my dad was working as a collector for a home goods finance company. Remember when all interest was high and collectors would come to your home within a month to repo stuff? That was my dad.
He was trying to get payment, or the tv (real nice cabinet tv, made in america, costs 5-6 weeks pay) and after he was invited in the apartment by the Missus, the Mister shot out of another room and stabbed him. The cops took the tv as evidence.
Anyway, long story short, when dad was being cross examined by the defendant’s lawyer, the lawyer honed in on his overt racism, and got him to say he “couldn’t tell them apart.” Jury apparently didn’t care that it was the guy’s apartment, with the guy’s knife, and he never left until he was arrested. At least the company got the tv back after the trial.
Being raised by a guy that went through that – on top his many decades of grandpa’s overt racism (which he had mostly lost by the time I knew him) – I was DETERMINED to prove my old man wrong.
Then I moved to De’toilet.

I’ve never, even at my most PC and liberal (and admit it, most young and educated run liberal, thank god I came out of it), been trusting enough to pick a professional of color, unless Asian.
With the exception of an African doctor (seriously, educated in both places, he was awesome, best doc I ever visited), I have never chosen a person of color based on this one reason: they get spots no matter how little qualified, talented, or skilled, they are. Which I may be able to tolerate the incompetence when we are talking the water billing department, but I sure as hell can’t when it is my life, or my children’s, that is asking way to much of me.
Which is sad, because then those like Howard of NYC, are painted with a brush that they don’t deserve.
As I ended up in headhunting, then HR, after moving to the big city, I had lots of opportunities to be disappointed in a society of people that have been raised to believe showing up is 90% of the job – and not necessarily on time – and that half-assed is good enough.
PC hiring and education is a clusterfuck of racing to accomodate the lowest common denominator. We have lowered most standards to the point that I believe major systems are going to break down and eventually fail.
Changes are surely coming, nobody wants to do the crappy jobs – like cleaning, are the restaurants and retail and hospitals around you all as dirty as around here? I’ve taken up looking at baseboards, ceilings, decorations/plants, windows, and I have to tell you very few places are paying their employees to clean, well, clean well, anymore. That alone has me refusing to eat out more and more. Hell, even when I was in the rural hospital with my little brother in recovery last week, the bottoms of the vinyl recliners, beds, cabinets, walls, baseboards and corners, were freaking filthy. FILTHY. In a damned hospital, in a recovery room. Dammit, I meant to send the corporation a bitchy letter.
Most people are clueless to the encroaching filth. It is unbelievable to me. I can remember going to fast food restaurants as a child and they GLEAMED. When I worked in BK in the 80s, 1/2 the day shift was spent cleaning the stainless, corners, booths, windows. We shut the dining room down early every 3 months to clean it like it was an operating theater. Not anymore.
We don’t need to be afraid of “them” of different colors. Look the hell around you, the young Caucasians aren’t so shiny and innocent and hard working and moral as they used be. And really, admit it to yourself, those Rockwell rendered teenagers/young adults were only a percentage, not all, the shitheads and voluntarily poor have been around for eternity, and always will. We’re just tipping the scales WAYYYYY in their favor and their numbers are swelling as ours shrink.

I admit I’m too old to be familiar with the concept of diversity, our bosses were too old school to promote it but I got the idea that diversity had to do with including gays and lesbians into the company culture. It was no longer a racial question alone. We snickered when we heard one of the shops had a guy who was undergoing a sex change and was wearing women’s clothes in the interim. There was a cartoon where a guy alerts another about the weird people running around, the second guy replied, talk to the boss, he hired them.
The shops are getting dirtier because the money is becoming worthless. That is a fact that is lost on the beautiful blonde, she still pinches a dollar like it aint worth only five cents. But employees know better, I guess, the bathrooms at the bookstore and at fast food joints are dirty and usually tagged with local graffiti. (I was surprised to find homosexual graffiti in the Air Force latrines about 15 years ago, that was unheard of back in the day. I get the feeling I’ve been living in a fishbowl for a long time because the world around me changed but my environment has moved at a glacial pace. The more I read about the new land, I feel like Rip Van Winkle.
This decline started back in the 60’s and it has only gone through new iterations, rebellion against the status quo is the norm. As the Democrats enroll new clients, we shall see the expansion of the diversity brand to include incestuous couples and psychotic sociopaths.

I agree with the spirit of the post and responses but can’t help but see it from the perspective of a 54 year old white woman in a traditionally male field.
(As a caveat – I stayed home with the kids for twelve years, the marriage ended and I never remarried – I am not at the same level professionally but I can assure you I read more in a week than these fools read in a year)
The mostly clueless boomer white men I work with – i.e., civil-engineer types who still have jobs but who have ridiculed me to no end for what gets discussed here and elsewhere on the internet (because the internet is for weather and sports scores) – are just now coming to grips with the degradation of the economy, the destruction of the country and the compromised future of their kids.
They’ve attended church and voted republican and hung out with like-minded couples for the last thirty years – all the time not really realizing their own kind, the white male boomer politicians were throwing them under the bus – and IMO they are circling the wagons.
White men did build this nation – and last I looked the majority of the Senate, Congress, CEO’s CFO’s, COO’s, Board of Directors members, etc are still white men.
So whatever happened and on whose watch is all meant to keep up fighting amongst ourselves because the last thing THEY want is for everyone to look up at the banks and see where the real power to build and destroy actually resides.

I work with more than a few middle class blacks and they feel it too – I’ve had some pretty significant discussions about what they think America – yesterday, today and tomorrow – is all about and how effort and responsibility has been undermined – they do see the destruction of their people and are also as confused and rattled as the white men.
They are starting to see the politicians and policies they supported over the years “may” have also thrown them under the bus but the indoctrination is formidable. It is difficult to question reality.
They see the unqualified of their race rise not on merit but on quotas – they are just as frustrated at the blacks that play the race game and it is refreshing to know that I work with middle-class Americans that are willing to admit that perhaps things went too far – which is a far cry from the white men who are incapable of admitting that racism and sexism did indeed exist and did indeed, to the detriment of our culture, shut out people of merit and skill.
It is perfectly reasonable as the economy degrades and people feel helpless, frustrated and scared, to circle the wagons and start pointing fingers – and there are certainly enough mistakes to go around.
I also have no doubt that TPTB are yet again laughing and patting themselves on the back at their ability to get all us puppets fighting among ourselves and never looking to see who is pulling our strings.

Years ago, I had a client who was a VP at HI and she had a hired a Black intern ( per PC policy) who supposedly had graduated from Harvard, but when administered a company test to determine his business skill sets, it became clear that he could not read. When my client called the college to ask about his educational background, the administration told her that he was a non-reading graduate. …………..I’m all though this young black man’s education years-sans any training in a useful skill-he was constantly being told that he could be anything he wanted to be, even president…and maybe he did become POTUS?

John Law era) As the value of money decreases, everyone, companies included, become poorer. There becomes less money to spend on improvements because the value is shifted to essential needs.

Twelve year olds who never grew up and like twelve year olds lived their lives in magical thinking. I have been thinking a lot about the decline of Western Civilization from a ‘red pill’ perspective. Often these thoughts are politically incorrect and are so far away from acceptable political discourse that even my best friends look at me strangely when I share my thoughts. When you look at the world around you in such a manner, you find that you have little in common with it. Sure, you can find people on the internet to talk about these things… but these are just interactions with words on a screen… they lack the warmth of true, in-person, human interaction.
Once you have swallowed the red pill, there is no going back. This is the beginning of your alienation from the world around you. You have unplugged. You are there but you are not there.
What brought you here was noticing a glitch. Something about the narrative just didn’t fit. You’ve been told a lot of things: “democracy is the best form of government,” “diversity is our strength,” or “men and women are the same, they just have different plumbing.” What you have been told and what you have observed have been different. The cracks are beginning to show.

While pondering this post and it’s comments I remembered a informative incident.
When the kids were little and I was a stay-at-home mom I spent time volunteering at the local YWCA – fund raising mostly – and I became aware that the “Mission Statement” of this “women’s” organization was the elimination of racism (not sexism). I questioned this and was told it came down from HQ.
So I got a hold of the HQ’s Board of Directors and sent them all a nice letter asking why the YWCA felt it necessary to be the women’s auxiliary to the NAACP – and didn’t they feel obliged to continue in their original mission of helping women? I did not get a response from any of them.
It didn’t take me too long to realize membership at the local branch had plummeted (from over 3000 to less than 600) and that the women on the local board were just as oblivious and avaricious – only serving because it looked good on resumes and it opened doors for more opportunity. I moved on fairly soon and a few years later the local branch closed up shop – all the while complaining they couldn’t “compete” with the YMCA down the street.
So in the 1970’s an originally segregated organization ostensibly created to empower women was dealing with racism within its own ranks and a backlash against women’s liberation and radicalism and its solution was to redefine its mission – to work towards the elimination of racism everywhere and subsequently a powerful advocate and support organization created by women for women and in the midst of some needed cultural changes itself more-or-less committed organizational suicide.
In trying to clean house it was felt that cleaning the world was required.
A situation requires redress but the solution goes too far – and any empowerment [literally giving power] that was originally possible vanishes to the detriment of all involved.
I would imagine this strategy of disempowering groups is pretty well known in some circles.

I am a public defender in a large southern metropolitan area. Fewer than ten percent of the people in the area I serve are black but over 90 per cent of my clients are black. The remaining ten percent are mainly Hispanics but there are a few whites.
I have no explanation for why this is, but crime has racial patterns. Hispanics usually commit two kinds of crime: sexual assault on children and driving under the influence. Blacks commit many violent crimes but very few sex crimes. The handful of whites I see commit all kinds of crimes. In my many years as a public defender I have represented only three Asians, and one was half black.
As a young lawyer, I believed the official story that blacks are law abiding, intelligent, family-oriented people, but are so poor they must turn to crime to survive. Actual black behavior was a shock to me.
The media invariably sugarcoat black behavior. Even the news reports of the very crimes I dealt with in court were slanted. Television news intentionally leaves out unflattering facts about the accused, and sometimes omits names that are obviously black. All this rocked my liberal, tolerant beliefs, but it took me years to set aside my illusions and accept the reality of what I see every day. I have now served thousands of blacks and their families, protecting their rights and defending them in court. What follow are my observations.
Although blacks are only a small percentage of our community, the courthouse is filled with them: the halls and gallery benches are overflowing with black defendants, families, and crime victims. Most whites with business in court arrive quietly, dress appropriately, and keep their heads down. They get in and get out–if they can–as fast as they can. For blacks, the courthouse is like a carnival. They all seem to know each other: hundreds and hundreds each day, gossiping, laughing loudly, waving, and crowding the halls.
When I am appointed to represent a client I introduce myself and explain that I am his lawyer. I explain the court process and my role in it, and I ask the client some basic questions about himself. At this stage, I can tell with great accuracy how people will react. Hispanics are extremely polite and deferential. An Hispanic will never call me by my first name and will answer my questions directly and with appropriate respect for my position. Whites are similarly respectful.
A black man will never call me Mr. Smith; I am always “Mike.” It is not unusual for a 19-year-old black to refer to me as “dog.” A black may mumble complaints about everything I say, and roll his eyes when I politely interrupt so I can continue with my explanation. Also, everything I say to blacks must be at about the third-grade level. If I slip and use adult language, they get angry because they think I am flaunting my superiority.
At the early stages of a case, I explain the process to my clients. I often do not yet have the information in the police reports. Blacks are unable to understand that I do not yet have answers to all of their questions, but that I will by a certain date. They live in the here and the now and are unable to wait for anything. Usually, by the second meeting with the client I have most of the police reports and understand their case.

Unlike people of other races, blacks never see their lawyer as someone who is there to help them. I am a part of the system against which they are waging war. They often explode with anger at me and are quick to blame me for anything that goes wrong in their case.
Black men often try to trip me up and challenge my knowledge of the law or the facts of the case. I appreciate sincere questions about the elements of the offense or the sentencing guidelines, but blacks ask questions to test me. Unfortunately, they are almost always wrong in their reading, or understanding, of the law, and this can cause friction. I may repeatedly explain the law, and provide copies of the statute showing, for example, why my client must serve six years if convicted, but he continues to believe that a hand-written note from his “cellie” is controlling law.

The problem is prostitution and drug laws. Half, or more, the defendants wouldn’t be in court.
They also would be FORCED into using their entrepreneurial talents for legitimate business building.
Instead we decided to criminalize human behavior and god-created plants, plied their communities with trillions of dollars of unearned, unasked for, free shit, to bolster and elect the lifetime politicians like Carl freakin’ Levin.
Make victimless crimes legal, give them the cities, then walk away. No requirements for paying taxes, nor social security, nor cops. Let them be responsible for their own survival.
Anyone that wants out to work a job and support their families would be welcomed outside the city with open arms, but no cash.
Oh, we may have to supply some bread and hot dogs and maybe some seeds and cattle feed, but in cities like Detroit their is plenty of open land that can be turned into farmland.

Several years ago at the company I then worked I was told that I was forever excused from attending the semi-annual PC harangue fest called a ‘diversity refresher’. Despite my well-known position on these things I was a bit surprised. After all this is/was part of the company’s anti-litigation strategy. So what happened?
It had come to management’s attention that new members of the department had been counseled by younger members of the team to try and determine which session I would be attending, and then sign up for the same session. Apparently they were told that I was saying the things that they wanted to say but didn’t. It was summed up by an email I was forwarded which included the line, ‘If u (sic) have to sit thru (sic) this bullshit it might as well be entertaining.’
