Sometimes it is hard to believe the stupid shit that spews from a politicians mouths. The sad thing about that is the people in the room are eating it up like it is gospel.
My former lawyer was in the same class as Hillary Rodham at Harvard and he used to share stories of her from those days, none of them particularly flattering, they knew then that nothing would get in her way in her pursuit of the white house. Fierce political animal was a common description. In his opinion Hilliary has been the brains behind the Clinton machine from the get go and was the primary puppeteer pulling Bill’s strings. If she does win the presidency she will be the one person in the world that will make people wish we had Obama back. Makes me sick even thinking about it.

Government should create the conditions under which businesses prosper and grow good jobs but it should NOT dictate the circumstances in which specific sectors or corporations profit especially at the expense of taxpayers/consumers. Actually, it’s the federal reserve, big banks, and Wall Street who are doing the dictating.
Citizens who believe we have a “democracy” and “We The People” make it work are totally clueless. We live in a land where the super rich and big money special interests who own politicians manipulate, exploit, and control everyone else to benefit themselves.
Many would disagree but many of these same people are uninformed and are only able to stay afloat financially because they receive monthly government checks or government subsidies for their industry or employer. If these people didn’t receive this aid, they would not only face hardship and poverty but starvation. So what we really have is a bribery nation. Politicians bribe as many citizens as possible to buy their loyalty and votes because they’ve failed to create the conditions for businesses to grow millions of good jobs and reduce our staggering debt. To the contrary, politicians keep spending – courtesy of the federal reserve.
Many are financially struggling. SO AM I. But if citizens aren’t willing to do what’s necessary to help themselves (or kids and grand kids) gain enough opportunity to prosper by either electing political candidates not owned by big special interests or even engaging in more drastic widespread actions, their situation will only get worse. Prosperity is only about finding a good paying job according to one’s education and abilities NOT being financially dependent on government- and being a economic slave to it. Do citizens have so little self-respect that they might elect the Devil himself just to get their monthly government checks?
Those “rebels” who fought to win our country’s independence, if alive today would likely demand major reforms – and be labeled as “terrorists” by the corrupt ruling class. Many in our military are poor so why should they risk their lives to enrich the oil industry or defense contractors?
It’s obvious our entire economic system, especially Wall Street, is a corrupt sham. As more retailers close stores and as more people lose jobs, the stock market keeps rising. This is absurd. This is a Plunge Protection Team and federal reserve Prop Up economy. Federal reserve easy money, political corruption, wild spending by Congress (did you see Senator Tom Coburn’s latest list of wasteful spending items?), and bribery by politicians to many citizens and big industries to buy their loyalty are all part of this propping up. but propping up is NOT real prosperity since total unemployment (U-6) is increasing and more citizens are on food stamps, etc. So the federal reserve keeps creating money to deal with this – and devaluing our dollar in the process.
Keeping union workers busy with construction projects won’t save us. Neither will technology.
Al Capone was right when he said that Wall Street is a racket. Smedley Butler was right that war is a racket. Congress is a racket. So are many big industries.
What seals our country’s fate is that most citizens don’t care because as long as they receive a monthly government check, they are content and can focus their attention to more important things like sports and entertainment. As the Admin and others have mentioned, we are entertaining ourselves to death because of apathy and stupidity. So our problems aren’t just because of the federal reserve, big banks, Wall Street, BIS, CFR, oil industry, Masons, Bohemian Club, Skull and Bones, etc.
But the monthly government checks won’t continue forever. So as our country disintegrates and finally fails, only four words are needed to explain who is at fault – “look in the mirror”. If citizens tolerate government corruption because they are easily bribed, then they deserve economic collapse and their own destruction. It’s tragic that many of these people have children whom they will drag down as well.

We have a very serious problem with Hillary. I was asked years ago to review Hillary’s Commodity Trading to explain what went on. Effectively, they did trades and simply put winners in her account and the losers in her lawyer’s. This way she gets money that is laundered through the markets – something that would get her 25 years today.
People forget, but Hillary was really President – not Bill. Just 4 days after taking office, Hillary was given the authority to start a task force for healthcare reform. The problem was, her vision was unbelievable. The costs upon business were oppressive so much so that not even the Democrats could support her. When asked how was a small business mom and pop going to pay for healthcare she said if they could not afford it they should not be in business. From that moment on, my respect for her collapsed. She revealed herself as a real Marxist.
Now, that she can taste the power of Washington, and I dare say she will not be a yes person as Obama and Bush seem to be, therein lies the real danger. Giving her the power of dictator, which is the power of executive orders, I think I have to leave the USA just to be safe.

She just appeared at a Boston rally for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley on Friday. She was off the hook and amazingly told the crowd gathered at the Park Plaza Hotel not to listen to anybody who says that “businesses create jobs.”
“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.
“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”
“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Hillary said.
I wrote an OpEd for the Wall Street Journal on Clinton’s Balanced Budget. It was smoke and mirrors. Long-term interest rates were sharply higher than short-term. Clinton shifted the national debt to save interest expenditures. He also inherited a up-cycle in the economy that always produces more taxes.
Yet she sees no problem with the math of perpetually borrowing. Perhaps she would get to the point of being unable to sell debt and just confiscate all wealth since government knows better. Their job on keeping Ebola out is just fantastic so far? Just a few people popping up here and there. Maybe everyone from New York should get a free weekend to visit Washington.

So, all these years, when I thought I was building my business and hiring folks, it was actually the government that was doing it, and not me.
So I guess I can retire now, fire all my employees, and sell my assets, safe in the knowledge that the government will provide jobs for all of the folks that lose their jobs when I leave.

Here I thought that I had managed to overcome adversity – payroll taxes, land taxes, EPA, Worker’s Comp, Obamacare, etc etc etc – and in the end managed to grow a business.
But I had it all wrong – those things were not negatives at all – they are the REASON I was able to hire folks. Without those things, my business would have failed, and I would be bankrupt!
I was a fool – they were actually helping me, not hurting me! Hallelujah!

If you consider what the collective level of intelligence would need to be to elect Obama president not just once but twice, then you have to realize the population has no real depth of understanding concerning pertinent issues.
The population seems to be more swayed by superficial cues than by substance. Delivery is more important than truth. A winning style of presentation delivered with great conviction allows the brain dead to relax in the belief that all the hard thinking has been taken care of.
It’s all about style and delivery that touches the emotional side of the brain. If a person likes the delivery they can easily ignore the facts.
