Weaponizing Social Science: Pentagon Plans To Shape and Control Mass Civil Breakdowns

Guest Post by Jesse

To protect and promote our vital corporate interests with advanced social techniques, a compliant press, and boatloads of dark money, at home and abroad.

Managing perceptions.

O brave new world, that has such creatures in it.

We had a dream. And now its becoming a nightmare.

We come in peace.

“A US Department of Defense (DoD) research programme is funding universities to model the dynamics, risks and tipping points for large-scale civil unrest across the world, under the supervision of various US military agencies…

Social science is being militarised to develop ‘operational tools’ to target peaceful activists and protest movements….

Minerva-funded social scientists tied to Pentagon counterinsurgency operations are involved in the “study of emotions in stoking or quelling ideologically driven movements,” he said, including how “to counteract grassroots movements.”

Prof David Price, a cultural anthropologist at St Martin’s University in Washington DC and author of Weaponizing Anthropology: Social Science in Service of the Militarized State, “when you looked at the individual bits of many of these projects they sort of looked like normal social science, textual analysis, historical research, and so on, but when you added these bits up they all shared themes of legibility with all the distortions of over-simplification. Minerva is farming out the piece-work of empire in ways that can allow individuals to disassociate their individual contributions from the larger project.”

Minerva is a prime example of the deeply narrow-minded and self-defeating nature of military ideology. Worse still, the unwillingness of DoD officials to answer the most basic questions is symptomatic of a simple fact – in their unswerving mission to defend an increasingly unpopular global system serving the interests of a tiny minority, security agencies have no qualms about painting the rest of us as potential terrorists.”

Nothing new, we’ve had Inverted Totalitarianism in place since the 1950’s….Eisenhower told us so in his farewell address.

To the more “esoteric” monkeys in the “Admin show” ….

Critical thinking and analysis are absolutely indispensable tools against mind control and for human consciousness.

Which is why they are … involved in the “study of emotions in stoking or quelling ideologically driven movements,”

Can’t have much “critical thinking” when people are vomiting emotions all over the place.

@OLGA

Which is why DoD will win out in the end because 80% of population are void of any ability for critical thinking. It’s in the bag for the owners , not even a challenge for them. Keep tuning in, maybe the sheep will have a rare moment of creativity.

Hayek..gotcha’ social justice.

The Feds have done such a great job of behavioral engineering social justice via the public stool system that it would be ludicrous to think that the future of social justice to be anything other than the end game of blissful utopia.

I wonder if their will be any social justice for Jessica Chambers ?

Or, how about some shovel ready social justice?

A lot of the common life problems that millenials experience are due to people no longer really looking after one another. Families, which are supposed to fulfill this purpose, have been greatly damaged or obliterated in enormous numbers. It’s sort of like what happens when formerly owned dogs become strays. Their hair gets patchy, they don’t eat good food, they develop weird habits, they have trouble socializing, and they become incapable of doing ordinary dog-like things.

People aren’t much different. Without close friends, family, and spouses, people tend to become unhealthy, erratic, and unproductive. They begin worshiping strange idols, obsessing over useless paths of knowledge, making bad art, and abusing drugs. The people that are supposed to help other people to resolve their problems will tend to instead just do what they can to triage the dysfunction, tell the person who has made themselves worthless that they still possess essential worth, and go on to the next dysfunctional person.

The reason why we hold each other to standards of behavior, health, and appearance is because a breakdown of this process causes the breakdown of civilization: city by city, town by town, village by village, family by family, person by person.

Apocalyptic violence only makes those problems far worse and usually has multi-generational negative consequences. Chaotic civil war doesn’t select for civilized traits. The people who thrive during chaotic civil wars are killers, pimps, smugglers, and whores in that order. The higher arts disintegrate almost immediately, because delicate spirits must either coarsen or escape to survive the conflict. Keeping the electricity running and the plumbing working is a big enough challenge: producing literature and advancing technology becomes impossible.

If only frogs had wings..

Thousands of Grubers Throughout Amerika, USSA
Scott Lazarowitz

There are thousands of Jonathan Grubers throughout the USSA, in federal, state and local government offices and bureaus, and on many university faculties. They are technocrats, numbers-crunchers, manipulators and control freaks. And many of them are also nincompoops, misfits, propagandists, fraudsters, and liars. With their little charts and graphs, they can convince even the brightest of people to accept the most irrational and laughable ideas which then get implemented into the law of the land. They seem to have a compulsion for micromanaging the lives of others, involuntarily, as their daily livelihood is dependent on the existence of the State and its powers to monopolize various services by force, and financed by the State’s taxing (i.e. theft and looting) authority. Just imagine if we eliminated all government-forced redistribution schemes and governmental intrusions into people’s private lives and their private medical matters, and so on. And eliminating all those redistribution schemes would also include all subsidies to universities. Many of those Grubers out there would probably just disappear. The Harvard Kennedy School of Government would become a Walmart. (I know. Not. Gonna. Happen. But we can dream, can’t we?)
