My wife had a 7 hour drive to her parents house in Alabama on Thursday. We happened to listen to a show that talked about the water right to an area’s farmers that was being shut off due to the endangered salmon.
The shut off was being done by several Federal Agencies. One of the farmers that was being interviewed said that if they cut off the water in order to save the fish…then the famer will have to file bankruptcy and of course food won’t be grown.
My wife said that at some point people matter more than animals ( she is a HUGE animal lover ). I told her that one day folks are going to get feed up with unelected officials and bureaucracy creating havoc with their livelihoods and all hell is going to break loose. Heck we had a family kill two deputies over a land dispute with the highway department a couple of years ago….this is going to happen a lot more if they don’t get reined in…and soon.
