My resolution is pretty simple. It’s been about 7-8 months since I read a post by bb and I intend to go 12 months without reading one this year.

Just came across this:

“Some other laws have also taken effect in the state. California is now the first state require college students to give affirmative consent for sex — it’s called the — “Yes Means Yes Law.”–”
(that’s a copy – paste, I didn’t type that)

DAMN!!

I need to go find some college gal and tell her if I ask her for sex she has to say YES – It’s now the LAW!!

@ASIG, because there is a man that served over eight years in Mass for consensual sex, that is probably a good law.

Story goes, guy asks girl, girl says yes, deed ensues, girl after a time decides it’s over, says, “STOP,” he does, apparently not fast enough.

She goes to cops and says he didn’t stop fast enough. Literally, he stopped, but not “fast enough.”

The prosecutor calls it rape, the jury agrees, the guy is imprisoned, his life ruined and the GIRL SAID YES.

I read about this a decade or more ago. That was the night I had a discussion with my son about the coming reality of sex contracts to keep men out of jail.

I don’t know how any single guy has the guts to approach women anymore. You all can be strung up and have your life ruined just because we wake up in the morning and decide it shouldn’t have happened.

I don’t understand this world anymore. Not at all. Not anywhere. It is all insane.

Yes, mean yes. What a concept.

I suppose next up is a women suing a guy for not being able to perform. An anti-rape law or some such nonsense.

There outta be a law outlawing all these damn laws. At least a sunset clause.
