The Economist 2015 Cover is Filled With Cryptic Symbols and Dire Predictions

Hat tip Thinker

Via The Vigilant Citizen

The reputed magazine The Economist published an issue named “The World in 2015″. On the cover are odd images :  A mushroom cloud, the Federal Reserve in a game called “Panic” and much more.

leadeconomist

I wouldn’t normally dedicate an entire article analyzing the cover of a publication, but this isn’t any publication. It is The Economist and it is directly related to the world elite. It is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, attended several times to the Bilderberg Conference – the secretive meeting where the world’s most powerful figures from the world of politics, finance business and media discuss global policies. The outcome of those meetings is totally secret. It is therefore safe to say that the people at The Economist know things that most people don’t. For this reason, its “2015 prediction” cover is rather puzzling.

The bleak and sinister cover features political figures, fictional characters and pop culture icons that will surely make the news in 2015. However, most importantly, it also includes several drawings that are extremely symbolic and allude to important elements of the elite’s Agenda. Here’s the cover :

Economist2014_cover_“üeol

(You can view a larger version of the cover here).

At first glance, we see political figures like Obama and Putin, references to the Rugby cup and the new Spider-Man movie. But a closer look reveals a plethora of disturbing elements. Here are some of them.

Two-Faced Globe

world

One side of the globe gazes stoically towards the West while the other side appears irate. Does this represent a confrontation between the East and the West? The cover features a few other symbols referring to the “rise of the East”. What’s more unsettling is that, immediately under that angry globe, are pictured a mushroom cloud (the kind that happens after a nuclear bomb goes off) and a spy satellite launching into space.

High tech surveillance and nuclear warfare. The Economist is not very optimistic.

The Color of the Faces

Take a closer look at the faces of the personalities featured on the cover. Some of them are in full color while others are in black and white. Why is that?

faces

Among those in black in white are Putin, Merkel, Obama, Hilary Clinton and David Cameron. Among those in color are David Blaine, a young person holding a “Singapore” banner (Singapore is the host of the 2015 SEA games) and a random guy wearing virtual reality equipment. A quick compilation of this data reveals that those in black and white appear to be part of the elite (including the ISIS guy who probably works for them) and those in color are “outsiders”. Is this how the elite perceives the world?

Pied Piper

piper2

The presence of the Pied Piper on this 2015-themed cover is downright unsettling. The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a German legend about a man who used his magical flute to lure away the children of the city of Hamelin, never to be seen again.

The Pied Piper leads the children out of Hamelin. Illustration by Kate Greenaway for Robert Browning's "The Pied Piper of Hamelin"

This folkloric figure dating from the Middle-Ages is said to represent either massive death by plague or catastrophe, or a movement of massive immigration. It also perfectly represents today’s youth being “lured” and mystified by the “music” of mass media. Conveniently enough, there’s a small boy right under the Piper’s flute.

Clueless Boy

boy

Right under the Pied Piper we see a young boy with dumbfounded look on his face. He is watching a game called “Panic”. The words “Federal Reserve” and “Chi” (which probably stands for China) are on top while the words “Green light!” and “sis!” (which probably stands for “Isis!” or “Crisis!”) are at the bottom. The little boy watches as this twisted game of Plinko unfolds the same way the clueless masses watch powerlessly while various events unfold on mass media. As the name of the game states, the ultimate goal is to cause Panic around the world as crises are almost randomly generated by those who control the game. And that’s on a magazine cover owned by the Rothschilds.

Crop-O-Dust

Untitled-1

In front of Putin is a small aircraft on which is written Crop-O-Dust. This refers to the concept of crop dusting which is “the process of spraying crops with powdered insecticides or fungicides from an aircraft.” Right under the helicopter is a kid … eating something. Unsettling.

kid

China

china

A panda bear wearing a China-flag Speedo while flexing its muscles is a rather clear way of portraying the fact that China is gaining power. Next to it is a sumo wrestler holding a big battery on which the polarities (+ and -) are clearly indicated. Are they alluding to a switch in polarity in world power from the West to the East?

Ghost

ghost

Emerging from behind Obama’s leg is a ghost reading a magazine entitled “Holiday”. Why is this ghost, which represents a dead person, planning a vacation? Does it represent the fact that the masses will be so impoverished that the only time they’ll be on a holiday is when they’re dead? Does it relate to the countless people who died while traveling in the past months? Creepy.

Turtle

turtle

Standing in front of everything else, gazing right into our souls is a turtle with emphasis lines around its shell. What does it represent? Will turtles make a huge comeback in 2015? Probably not.

An angry tortoise is the symbol of the Fabian Society, an extremely powerful organization that has been working for over a century towards to formation of a single world government.

when i strike i strike hard.jpg

The philosophy behind Fabian socialism is basically the blueprint of what we call today the New World Order.

The Fabian Society is a very old group originating in England in 1884, with the purpose of forming a single, global socialist state. They get their name from the Roman general Fabius, who used carefully planned strategies to slowly wear down his enemies over a long period of time to obtain victory. “Fabian Socialism” uses incremental change over a long period of time to slowly transform a state as opposed to using violent revolution for change. It is essentially socialism by stealth. Their original emblem was a shield with a wolf in sheep’s clothing holding a flag with the letters F.S. Today the international symbol of the Fabian Society is a turtle, with the motto below: “When I strike, I strike hard.”
– The Fabian Society, The Weather Eye

The Fabian Society used to openly advocate a scientifically planned society and supported eugenics by way of sterilization. Its original logo was a wolf in sheep’s clothing … But I guess that was not the best way to conceal the wolf from the masses.

The original logo of the Fabian Society was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Bringing forth a global system through small incremental changes is exactly what the world elite is currently doing. This is probably why there’s an angry tortoise on the cover of this Bilderberg-connected publication – standing in front of the chaos behind it.

11.3 and 11.5

dirt

The lower right side of the cover features some more cryptic symbols. There’s a pile of dirt on the ground and two arrows on which are inscribed 11.5 and 11.3. Are those dates to remember? Why are they next to a pile of dirt? If you look up these figures as coordinates, they point to somewhere in Nigeria. Displaying numbers that can only be truly understood by “those in the know” is one of the occult elite’s favorite hobbies.

Standing in front of the dirt is Alice in Wonderland looking upwards towards the Cheshire Cat.

cat

This iconic cat is known for disappearing entirely, leaving only visible its creepy grin. We therefore see another allusion to a world of fantasy, illusion and deceit as perceived by Alice – a representative of the masses. Along with the somewhat unnecessary inclusion of David Blaine – a magician – the cover mixes real world events with illusions.

Other notable symbols on this cover include a piggy bank flying from James Cameron’s pockets;  A model wearing an Alexander McQueen creation (the elite’s favorite designer who died in strange circumstances) and an Asian officer wearing a facemask to protect him from a deadly disease.

2015 seems great, doesn’t it?

In Conclusion

The Economist is not a random newspaper that publishes quirky 2015 predictions to sell a few additional copies. It is directly connected to those who shape global policies and who make sure that they are applied. The publication is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor regularly attends Bilderberg meetings. In other words, The Economist is connected to those who have the means and the power to make “predictions” a reality.

The 2015-themed cover basically reflects the overall Agenda of the elite and is peppered with cryptic symbols that appear to be included for “those in the know”. And the masses, like Alice watching the Cheshire Cat disappear, will focus on illusions while the wolf in sheep’s clothing will strike … and strike hard.

Note the splatters behind the man with the raised AK-47. They look like blood except they’re blue – splattered blue blood…

What is the significance of Churchill flashing ‘V for Victory’? Wasn’t that victory won 70 years ago? If it’s for the anniversary, it seems an odd one to commemorate.

Note the characteristically white woman with the eggs on her head with wings – the flight of western (or first world) fertility? The samurai on the left seems to eye them with alarm.

Ghost with Holiday mag: The death of the high-end consumer class? Or the end of leisure?

Both Putin and Obama have bright red ties. Cameron’s tie is purple as is Hu’s suit – imperial purple?

Obama’s flag pin seems significant. He is now firmly identified with long-term US foreign policy aims.

Hillary’s eyes are colorized blue. Why?

Does the Singapore figure refer to upcoming games or perhaps to the next “color revolution”? The city-state has recently become a refuge for many fleeing the mounting chaos and mis-rule in Western nations.

The cryptic quality of the whole design is sinister in and of itself, as if the powerful freaks who own this magazine enjoy creeping out normal people. It seems to want to impart to its readership a sense of undefined gnostic insight while at the same time leaving them feeling off-balance and ready for anything, probably something bad.

This is a REALLY interesting article, because the elite love to hide things in plain sight. A few observations that may or may not mean anything.

— The two-faced world is reminiscent of the Roman God, Janus …. the god of beginnings and transitions, looking to the future and to the past. The eyes of the face facing west are looking straight ahead, while the eyes of the face facing east are looking back. Neither globe shows America. The other globe is at the bottom of the page … shaped like a rugby ball.

— The mushroom cloud is right beneath the two-faced globe, and right above David Cameron who has money flying out of his hand, and he’s standing next to Churchill who is flashing the peace sign.

— There are clown fish next to the Pied Piper, looking at Obama. The shadow of Obama’s hand looks like an alligator about to devour his American flag lapel pin.

— The “Panic” game with Federal Reserve written on the board is right next to China.

— The band pieces at the bottom left might represent the 50th anniversary of the British rock ‘n roll.

— Japanese battery might be a Fukushima thing.

— The rocket car is plastered with stickers from huge corporations.

— The woman next to David Blaine (standing under the Singapore sign) is Mary Barra, CEO of GM.

— Underneath Napoleon is Goodluck Johnathan, president of Nigeria. This is the 200th anniversary of Waterloo

— Spiderman is reaching into the pockets of the Indian Prime Minister

— Bill Gates is really pissed that he’s not pictured.

Albrecht

Also note the masked figure on the left looking farther to the left – so far left he needs binoculars.

Merkel’s hand gesture is surely not accidental.

The painting of the woman (attributed to Leonardo da Vinci) is described at Wikipedia:

La belle ferronnière is a name given to a portrait in The Louvre of a woman, usually attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. It is also known as Portrait of an Unknown Woman. The painting’s title, applied as early as the seventeenth century, identifying the sitter as the wife or daughter of an ironmonger (a ferronnier), was said to be discreetly alluding to a reputed mistress of Francis I of France, married to a certain Le Ferron. The tale is a romantic legend of revenge in which the aggrieved husband intentionally infects himself with syphilis, which he passes to the king through infecting his wife.

The two cryptic arrows with numbers have fallen to earth, that is, not hit their marks.

The missile is heading up in the general direction of the Amazon drone which looks ready to drop its own payload.

What about the clown fishes peeking from behind the Pied Piper? There’s a new Nemo movie coming in 2016. Pied piper, kids movies…

Perhaps we can divide the figures into categories: Adult actors: Obama, Hu, Merkel, etc. Children: Alice, the noodle boy, the airplane boy, representing the innocent by-standers or muppets, that is, you and me, Historical figures: Churchill, Napoleon. Fictional: Pied Piper, Leonardo’s woman, Spiderman, the samurai, brought in for their various meanings. Left implicit are those not shown: The manipulators, the directors, the puppet-masters, the ones playing the Wurlitzer (as Lewis Lapham put it).

Thinker

When I posted it on the comments on Brandon Smith’s piece, I included this link to Reddit, where someone has taken a lot of time to provide insights into some of the cover art. Some really fascinating things there:

The Economist 2015 cover is filled with cryptic symbols and dire predictions from conspiracy

Glad someone else noticed that China is facing up on the globe, not the west (as is usually the case).

Muck, I’m not into conspiracy theories, either, but you have to admit, the cover is pretty interesting in its own right.

Thinker

Someone (I think on Reddit) also found meaning in the hand of death over Putin’s head, as well as the tie colors on Putin, Obama and other world leaders.

For their part, here’s the description from The Economist itself:

The World in 2015, the latest in The Economist’s annual collection of predictions, identifies and explores the issues that will shape the year ahead. Prominent figures from politics, business, science and the arts join journalists from The Economist and other leading publications in offering forecasts for 2015. Politicians such as Joko Widodo and Matteo Renzi outline their plans for reforms, Hillary Clinton focusses on closing the gender gap and David Blaine reassures us that magic can still amaze.

For much of 2015, the world’s divisions will draw the most attention. While some economies are moving ahead, others are in danger of slipping back into recession. Nationalism is on the rise even as the West argues over how to respond to a rogue Russia and rampant jihadists. But it’s not all gloom: sporting and speed records could be broken, cinema-goers will delight in a new Bond movie and a new Star Wars sequel, and NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft will give us a fleeting glimpse of Pluto.

Interesting article. I do have one disagreement with what the original author asserted, and that was his/her (didn’t care enough to figure out gender or the original writer) about the rocket pictured.

Looking at that, it’s an old picture, and I can tell you exactly what it was. It took a little peering into what I know about the Atlas V’s history, and I immediately started to notice irregularities. First that 3rd logo from the top is clearly NASA. Also, most Atlas V’s have either 2 or 4 solid rocket boosters (having none, or going “Heavy” with 2 more core sections, being liquid fueled boosters also being options).

There is yet another option, one with 5 solid rocket boosters. To-date, there have been exactly one of these sent into space (2006?), and that is the rocket that launched the NASA “New Horizons” spacecraft that will do a flyby of Pluto in approx July of this year.

That is why that part of the picture is there. It is NOT some spy satellite. Keep in mind, the main core of the Atlas V (thus all of them) is powered by a Russian made rocket motor. Due to the sanctions, part of the Russian backlash has been to refuse to supply these motors for any DoD/Intelligence launch. They are still allowing commercial and scientific payloads to fly on that rocket, but they could pull the plug at any time if they think something is up.

Just my 2 cents, but that part of the cover is thus de-mystified.

varnelius
varnelius

How I figured that all out? Just the optics. A 2 or 4 solid booster (since the pictured rocket clearly is using solid and not liquid boosters) would in every other case I know of, be symmetrical. It is fairly clear from looking at the image that the far booster is not 180deg opposite of the side you see two of. The far side booster is just a little too close.

Just taking this on faith of what I know about rockets as I am not 100% on this, but I’m certain there are 3 on one side, 2 on the other. At launch likely only 4 of them are lit, the outer two on the side that has 3 (and the side with 2). Likely either just before or after, the starting 4 are separated, the final one is lit.

Keep in mind the New Horizions spacecraft left earth at a higher velocity then any spacecraft in history. Currently the Voyager craft are traveling faster (and will continue to do so). I’m not so up to date with my Voyager history, but I know both craft used gravity boosts from both Jupiter and Saturn. There could be others as well, I would not be surprised. Due to those mentioned planets masses, they have a greater effect on the boost. New Horizions only boosted from Mars and Jupiter (missing Saturn). New Horizions will get close, but never quite catch up to Voyager 1’s current record holding all time spacecraft speed record–relative to the sun.

varnelius
varnelius

Actually, knowing what I said above, that and the publication in question being American… Fairly sure November 3/5 will be the dates to watch for. That mushroom cloud doesn’t bode well.

varnelius
varnelius

Gave the high res version a good last look over before I call it a night. That sumo wrestler struggling with that battery… I think that one is pretty obvious. It has nothing to do with China, and everything to do with Fukushima. With a vast majority of their nuke plants offline, Japan is leaning on oil, NG, and coal something hard. ATM the prices on all of these things are way down, but that doesn’t mean it will stay that way throughout the year. Proximity to other imagery (and size) does not necessarily imply a connection… unless perhaps evidence coming out exposing that China caused the 9.0 earthquake near Japan on 3/11/2011 comes to light. I doubt that.

varnelius
varnelius

Yeah, looked up the New Horizions launch. And I was wrong on at least one point. Atlas V Heavy is still a possibility, but has not yet ever been tested/flown. The Delta IV Heavy is the one that we have of that class/idea that has actually flown.

And most Atlas V’s do not fly with a 3rd stage. The New Horizions mission did. If you compare this image to the one in the cover, you can tell by looking just below the bulge for the payload faring cover at the top, that both have that 3rd stage:

comment image

The one that is displayed on the cover above, was taken from a slightly different angle, but those tops are identical.

varnelius
varnelius

Oh and I since I was already on the page I checked as to when the flyby is going to happen. July 14 2015. Early morning American time, with a 11:47am-12:01pm UTC (so 4:47-5:01am EST. I think). Launch occurred January 19, 2006.

I won’t waste any more time blabbering spaceflight details for those who may or may not care about this aspect, other then the fact to say… In about 1.5h there is an 80% chance weather will be favorable for the 5th SpaceX cargo mission to the ISS. After the 1st stage attains (near) oribit, they plan on flipping it around and burning some propellent to slow it down so it can re-enter, and eventually land on their “drone spacecraft” boat. If they pull that off, it will definitely mark a sea change in spaceflight history. NASA TV coverage starts in 30min.

It’s a bi-polar world but hardly manic depressive, more like the aforementioned stoic-resentful. It is a world full of colored people, the niggers of the world: the hoi-polloi, and the people who run the world. The master of invention (da Vinci, if the painter is correctly identified, I thought it was a Botticelli) on one side and a master of illusion – Blaine on the other side. The grand failed emperor Napoleon on one end and the grand statesman on the other. A ‘robo-cop’ with binoculars out in front and a ‘terrist’ in the back. A huge government rocket countered by a small commercial drone. A threatening nuclear blast countered by an unaffected crowd.

The overall theme is shown at the top right with the world globe which is East Verses West. The west is nonchalant or is ignoring the East while the East is angry while looking to the West. The West sees bright clouds while the east is facing dark clouds. Notice the Amazon robot is connected to a white cloud (West) and the Mushroom cloud is right below the angry face of the East. The Wests focus is on faster delivery of products and the push for more consumption while the domination of consumption by the West will increasingly anger the east.

The prime minister of India is clearly signaling STOP and at his feet is a small (diminished?) Range Rover (England). England will be diminished relative to its former relationship with India?

The reflection in the floor is correct for most figures but not for the Prime Minister of India. Does that mean the image we see of India is not correct?

The vehicle at the bottom (blue rocket looking thing) is designed to set a new land speed record, it represents Setting New Records. It’s coming from and touching the image of Obama and points to and touching the Image of Alice in Wonderland. Alice is clearly looking to Obama as though she is waiting and wondering what he is going to do next. Obama will set new records of what appears to be bizarre behavior. Notice the cat from Alice in Wonderland is attached to Obama s leg as is the ghost of Holidays – Half the time he spends on Holiday and rest of the time his actions are so bizarre to where one wonders what he is up to.

Notice Obama s gesture appears friendly but the shadow (the only shadow in the entire picture) is clearly menacing and is aimed as though to grab hold of (control) the US flag. All of which imply Obama s behavior will only become even more bizarre (set new records of bizarre behavior) and will be a menace to the US.

Hilary: Notice her eyes are blue and her lips are red so she sees things as a liberal but will speak as or can sound like a conservative. She is looking to the left or is she looking to the right, it depends on your perspective.
