SOUND & FURY SIGNIFYING NOTHING

The politicians fear for their power, status, control, and wealth. Rallies, marches, fiery speeches, platitudes, and propaganda are nothing but sound and fury, signifying nothing. The murders of 17 people in France will be used by politicians and government control freaks to further reduce our freedoms and liberties. The fact that 21 people are shot on average every three days in Chicago doesn’t enter the picture. Our controllers seek more control over our lives. Maybe more gun controls will fix the problem. Didn’t the terrorists know that automatic weapons are illegal in France? 

This Fourth Turning is rapidly intensifying. The right wing party in France will now gain more supporters. Germany and Sweden are powder kegs. The next leg down in this global debt crisis will ignite the most violent portion of this Fourth Turning. Then the sound, fury, blood, and death will signify something. The sweeping away of the existing social order.

In a bold show of unity in the face of global terrorism, millions are rallying across France. World leaders converged on Paris to join the participants. Hundreds of thousands are also marching in a number of French cities on Sunday.

The Sunday rally, dubbed a “cry for freedom”, will commemorate the victims of the Charlie Hebdo massacre and comes after three days of standoffs and hostage situations, with one terror suspect still on the run. Latest reports, however, indicate the suspected woman might have been in Syria at the time of the attacks, which took 17 lives, journalists and policemen among them.

It will be an unprecedented manifestation that will be written in the history books,” Prime Minister Manuel Valls said. “It must show the power and dignity of the French people, who will cry out their love of liberty and tolerance.

Starting at 14:00 GMT, the rally will have tens of thousands marching down three major routes in the capital. They will be joined by world leaders, including the Palestinian and Israeli leadership, leaders from Germany, Britain, other NATO countries and representatives from the Arab League, as well as the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

This is expected to present a formidable security challenge for France’s law enforcement, whose presence has been boosted across the board, with tens of thousands already guarding sensitive locations like schools, places of worship and others – more than 2,000 are being deployed in addition.

Top US security brass will also arrive, and they will meet with their European counterparts in Paris to discuss an anti-terrorism strategy.

On Saturday, some 700,000 people marched in solidarity in Paris, Orleans, Nice and other cities. Candlelight vigils were held for the victims.

The Yemeni branch of Al-Qaeda is widely thought to be the group that coordinated the Charlie Hebdo attack. A statement sent to several media outlets by an alleged member of the group claimed it as “revenge for the honor” of Prophet Muhammad. The kosher shop situation that transpired later was motivated by similar feelings, that Islam is being berated and mocked by the West.

Twelve people, including four noted cartoonists, were killed in the original attack and have since come to symbolize a non-violent fight for freedom of expression across France and the world. The global outcry of sorrow and condemnation followed three tense days, with the Twitter hashtag #JeSuisCharlie (“I am Charlie”) gaining some of the widest popularity ever witnessed on the social network, with over five million reposts.

Some news outlets in a show of solidarity reprinted Charlie Hebdo’s cartoons. On Sunday, just as world leaders were gathering to discuss security and the global fight against terrorism, one such paper – the Hamburger Morgenpost – was set ablaze. However, police have not yet confirmed that the arson was indeed related to the Hebdo situation. No one was injured in the fire.

France is not alone in its quest to send a message to the terrorists. Hundreds of Australians also took to the streets in Sydney. They gathered at Martin Place, which became the scene of a deadly siege in mid-December, to show support for the victims of the French attacks, as the global show of solidarity continues.

The German Pegida movement (Patriotic Europeans against the Islamification of the West) drew 18,000 protestors in Dresden earlier this week.

The cities of Cologne of Berlin in counter-protest drew 36,000 supporting mooslims.

Angela Merkel (Obama’s personal dick sucking machine) said PEGIDA leaders and followers are ….. RAAAYCCISS and full of hatred, and said Europe’s biggest economy must welcome people fleeing conflict and war.

In Cologne, the politicians supported the mooslims by turning off the floodlights at the cathedral that is among Germany’s most visited tourist attraction.

Mom wants ME to help her off herself, IF the surgery on the 31st doesn’t relieve her constant pain. Really. She asked me to go on the Internet and find fast and painless ways to end life.

I was going to suggest she spend a half hour reading some posts by bb. I am open to other suggestions.

We’re going over again later this afternoon. She is obviously greatly depressed, and just not thinking right. Ms Freud says most of the time that people who TALK about suicide, don’t actually do it. That it’s mostly a cry for help. Of course, there are exceptions. But, I don’t think my mother would actually do it … not after all the SHIT she’s been through … she’s a strong woman. At this point, I am hoping and believing that the hip surgery will be a huge success. Thanks for asking.

I’m sorry to hear of your mom’s problems. Look for a pain management doc to help her out. That is all they do and amazing things can be done with a custom tailored effort rather than a one size fits all narcotic. I was absolutely shocked at how effective a non-systemic, non-narcotic topical cream worked on my ankle. It knocked the pain down from “I want to cut the thing off” to “I can live with this” until surgery fixed it. One application lasted 3-5 days. Every doctor was pushing narcotics like they were fucking Tic Tacs up to that point. When I told them “no” they just shrugged and basically said “suffer”.

AWD and my experiences taught me you have to be 100% proactive in your own care. You will suffer if you leave it to the docs and many/most don’t care as long as they get paid.

Stuck, I’m not sure when her surgery is but I’d try to see a pain management doc ASAP as there will likely be increased pain for a short time after surgery and during physical therapy. Have a plane in place ahead of time.

BTW …. I had a dream last night, I SWEAR to god, …. about the “cathedrals” pictorial essay. I shelved it because I couldn’t think of HOW to present it all. I did NOT want it to be a repeat of the “castles” thread in format and content … same o0ld stuff, except with churches. I wanted something …. fresh.

Well, it’s now crystal clear how I will proceed as a result of the dream. Again, I am not kidding. It’s like God appeared to me in the dream. (heh heh … that will piss off and confuse a few people here!)

Anyway, I’ll be starting it up again this week, and when done (I don’t yet know how long it will take), I think it has a shot at being the best ever pictorial essay I’ve done.

This march was nothing but a massive pud-pulling exercise: “Let’s all hold hands and sing Kumbaya and and the terrorists will run away in fear!” What utter bullshit.

No maybe if this crowd had torn down every mosque in Paris it would have had some effect. It is my belief that although relatively few Muslims involve themselves directly in terrorism, a great many support the radicals surreptitiously. That support must stop. And the only way it will stop is that it must become too painful to do.

Multi-culturalism only works if the immigrants embrace their new country and assimilate into it, perhaps holding onto some previous traditions and culture, but by and large embracing the new culture. Muslims will not do that – they intend to convert their new country to their traditions.

It is going to be a massive clusterfuck, and it is only going to get worse.

I started thinking about the cathedral article once again after Admin posted that “God” article. I have a good many church pictures in the file already … in addition to a Medieval Churches book I bought at Barnes and Noble.

The pictures are beautiful, but the content is DRY …. I’m sure most people wouldn’t be all that interested in the knowing how the churches were built from an engineering or architectural concept, or that so-and-so King and Queen were married there, or that it took 100 years and half the wealth of a nation to build. Not that such things aren’t of interest — at least to some — but, such information does not INSPIRE.

One can’t go into these magnificent churches and not feel a sense of …. AWE. Even if one is an agnostic. Mankind built these edifices at great effort and expense in order to create a holy environment most conducive to the worship God.

And then it hit me like a ton of bricks, that I was asking the wrong questions. That this article needn’t be about ‘bricks and mortar’, but rather the underlying questions. HOW does one worship this God? Does God give us clues? Are buildings involved? If so, have we misunderstood these clues or, are we doing a good job of it? When He looks down on these attempts to build him a house of worship … is he pleased, or would He rather have the money spent on the poor? Are we building these churches to please God … or, ourselves?

So, for what it’s worth, and for lack of a better term … the format will be that of a ‘sermon’, hopefully without sermonizing, if possible. It’s not an easy task.

That’s what came to me in this “dream”. No, it wasn’t from God. (Apparently, you have completely lost your sense of humor.) It was nothing more than my mind working out the “problem” at a subconscious level … after first thinking about it on a conscious level.

In closing, you have become most annoying in the past few months. It’s becoming more and more difficult to enjoy your posts. At a minimum, is it too much to ask that you stop following me around and riding my ass? Because, so far, I have restrained myself from getting into a shit-fest with you … but, that may not continue forever.

Stuck, Anybody that calls someone a ‘hypocrite’ doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Usually the accuser means that someone just contradicted himself, as we all do at times or he contradicted the image the accuser has formed of him. This I my opinion of that bullshit:

Calling somebody a hypocrite is a cheap shot because no one can know, outside of the one who searches all hearts, the mind of a person. Only a person without sin can rightfully cast the first stone.
However, this does not stop unprincipled persons from making scurrilous accusations in an effort to attack another’s reputation when they have no better argument to make.

The accusation is particularly offensive to a person who is not actually two-faced because rather than being called a liar concerning one aspect of his life, being called a hypocrite is calling into question his whole life, his purpose, intentions, everything he ever said or every kindness he has shown.

The counterculture’s tactic of accusing an honest person of being a hypocrite is an attempt to put the honest person on the defensive. His indignant defense of his love for his fellow man makes him sound like he has something to hide. Most people have a good opinion of themselves and are righteously offended when they are accused unfairly or unjustly labeled a hypocrite, a communist sympathizer, a libtard or a racist.

An honest man can make a mistake or he may stray from the truth. He may be a backslider caught in an embarrassing act or word but he is not a true hypocrite. He knows the way of righteousness and aspires to follow it at some point.

A hypocrite sees no value in virtue other than manipulating others and feels not the sting of being called a living falsehood; he already knows what he is. His only concern is that others not see the truth.

A true hypocrite is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A hypocrite is mal-intentioned, evil, from the tip of his tongue to the depths of his soul. He is a villain who tries to hide his crimes by pretense; feigning innocence and the purest of thoughts.
