I have stated several times here that China’s ultimate undoing will be one of Environmental Disaster. They are this century’s Easter Island … just a matter of time, as they may very well have passed the point of recovery.
China is very close in size to the USA. Yet, their population is the size of the ENTIRE Western Hemisphere, plus Japan, Germany, and France. The land can not support this mass of humanity without very dire consequences.
As you look at these pics, keep in mind Oreo, Libtards, and Enviro-Nazis are pushing for a Carbon Tax. Yeah, bitchezz … that will cure much!!!
In case you had not heard, the Chinese are taking our fresh water by the tanker load. Nestle is filling tanker ships daily in the Great Lakes to the point that water levels are at all time lows. This water is sent to China to be bottled for drinking water.
China is buying up land in Detroit near the lake. Gee, I wonder why. Your idea of water for gold is a good one.

Bea, the sale of water from the Great Lakes is supposed to be curtailed by the Great Lakes Water Protection Pact.
You got me going with this. Every single molecule of water in those lakes is spoken for by the municipalities in the Great Lakes watersheds. We don’t have it to spare.
This is scary.

Lloph: “Americans by and large are too stupid to buy American made.”
What’s left that is made in America? Not too many everyday items, I suspect. Having said that, the Toyota Venza I bought was made in Kentucky with 70% American parts and is not marketed outside the U.S. except for S.Korea.

PLEASE read up heavy on The Great Lakes Water Pact, it is not what you think. It does just the opposite of your thinking.

Bea, I will do so immediately, and get involved with water issues in this town.

The Great Lakes Water Protection Pact actually classifies water as “product” which exempts it from large scale export. Basically, that pact was Mumbo-Jumbo smoke and mirrors to fool the common folk. IMO it legalized the wholesale sell off of that water.
There was a lot of chatter on the net about this at the time, I have posted extensively about this. If you think control of our water is scary now, wait a few years.

Rise Up – they missed their chance due to being stupid. There are still a lot of US made products. Just have to be sure to search them out.

Anonymous, Bea, Chicago – yes, water needs to be protected. The three biggest water bottling companies are Nestle, Pepsico and Coca Cola (if my memory is correct). Watch these suckers sell out our water!
Problem is, 60% of what is manufactured in China comes from multinationals, mainly U.S. (if my memory is correct, again). So they ship our jobs overseas at a huge cost savings, pollute their land, and then sell them our water back. It’s win-win for the multinationals. Not so much for citizens.
The rich and corrupt Chinese come over and buy our land, to get away from the pollution, forcing up our land prices. It’s a big, messy circle f#ck.

I do programming for several companies that buy shit from China, and resell it here in the US.
It’s a country of liars and corruption. You can get something made to ‘spec’ in China. But as soon as possible the original factory will find another cheap shit operation to make your goods. But any kind of certification that your product originally had – goes out the window.
I’ve seen hi-temp electrical components melt – cause they substituted cheap shit plastic. Contacts that corrode – under the microscope I’ve found finger prints – no gloves used. One could go on and on.
