LATEST OBAMACARE F#@K UP

Obamacare is the biggest government clusterfuck in history. It is proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that anything the government touches or tries to control turns into a big steaming pile of shit that will cost trillions of dollars. Their shit for brains website is still a disaster. Obama changes the law as he goes. Like most of Obama’s initiatives, they are making it up as they go along. This was about as well thought out as Nancy Pelosi’s plastic surgeries.

They announced earlier today that they are extending the sign up period to April 15. Deadlines are meaningless. We are now about to experience the massive losses from the fraud that has occurred in the last year. Billions in subsidies have been paid out in error or due to fraud. How much do you think will be paid back by the Free Shit Army brigades? How long before Obama issues a proclamation telling the IRS to not enforce the penalties or to try and collect the fraudulent subsidies paid out?

And amazingly, most of the ignorant masses think Obamacare is a wonderful new program and is helping millions of poo people. Luckily the iGadget addicted, math challenged masses don’t remember that Obamacare was going to cover the 30 million uninsured Americans, not add one dime to the national debt, and save the average family $2,500 per year in insurance premiums. How are those promises working out?

Wrong tax information sent to 800,000 HealthCare.gov customers

By Robert Schroeder

Published: Feb 20, 2015 12:12 p.m. ET

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — About 800,000 HealthCare.gov customers got tax forms from the government with incorrect information, a Treasury Department spokesperson said Friday. The errors were on 1095-A forms that HealthCare.gov sent to consumers who get coverage through the federal insurance marketplace. Treasury said those who have not filed taxes should wait to do so until they have received a corrected form. Treasury said corrected forms will go out in early March.

I wonder how big the tube of Obozocare lube is these days . I’ve heard that all Americans are supposed to get a 55 gallon drum of the stuff in 2017

Maybe we should all sign up and claim subsidies as well. The only way to beat the system is to break the system.

But the horror is what they could think up next.

My future daughter in law made $3000 last year.

Obamacare website says she has to pay $180 a month for health care.

Which means that after SS and Medicaid, she would keep less than $500 annually.

Nah, there aren’t any problems.

Bonus! Between bailing out Detroit (and others), plus graft here there and everywhere, AND the health care requirements (with the Feds picking up the bulk of costs today, not tomorrow), Michigan is ALREADY back facing a deficit!

And the morons are getting ready to raises sales taxes for roads! Even though we are the 3rd highest effective gas tax rate for, you guessed it, roads!

FUCK this country and every idiot that feels the government and their overreach is needed and justified.

Admin says: Obamacare is the biggest government clusterfuck in history.

Spot on

Let’s recall, not one, let me repeat, not one Republican voted for this shit.

I keep hammering it home, the Republican Party is not perfect, not even close, but it’s better than letting Al Sharton and his horde take over, Obamacare is just round one.

Good Conservative Men need to stand together and push back against this Liberal progressive agenda. If you don’t like the Republican Party and you are a Conservative get involved changed the Platform. Don’t throw you hands up and surrender, fight, and then fight some more. The people in my State for the first time in history turned this State Blood Red, we expect change, we demand change.

First, “millions of poo people” – unfortunate typo or couched social commentary.

I was having a conversation with my sister-in-law the other day (she is from England) and told her that Obamacare was a mess and our premiums have already gone up dramatically. She immediately starts saying how well the English single-payer system works. I get this a lot. Let me say, first off, that I’m not sure how the English system really works for most people–I suspect there are a lot of tradeoffs, just like anything in the real world–but what bugs me is the comparison. Obamacare is in no way a single-payer system, it is not even a kissing cousin. Obamacare is ALL about the insurance industry. It was written by lawyers working for the insurance industry, read by literally no one who voted for it, and sold to the mindless public as a compromise between the system we had before and a single-payer. Obviously, this is nowhere near the truth. What it really did was take even more of the purchasing power of the individual (free market) and put it in the hands of a few massive, corrupt corporations (crony capitalism, corporate fascism, bullshit, whatever you want to call it). Single-payer systems have worked reasonably well for virtually every other first-world nation on earth for decades. I still believe it is a unstable system based on a flawed premise–but it IS much better that either what we had from the mid-70s until 2013, and much much much better that the clusterfuck that is Obamacare. What I hate even more than the backhanded way this disaster was forced upon us, is that people are too misinformed and emotionally-charged to even properly define the policies and laws we are sold, let alone properly debate them.

Drud check this out

Surgeons say patients in some parts of England have spent months waiting in pain because of delayed operations or new restrictions on who qualifies for treatment.

In several areas routine surgery was put on hold for months, while in many others new thresholds for hip and knee replacements have been introduced.

Obamacare, immigration policy, welfare, food stamps, are all designed as part of the Cloward-Piven strategy to crash the system and lead us to total socialism.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy
By Richard Poe
DiscoverTheNetworks.org
2005

“First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue an African American man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called “crisis strategy” or “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.”

(meant to include the next paragraph of the article–here it is):

“The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1971 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.”

Remarkable, Sensetti, how you can both totally miss my point and prove it all in the same post. I was not discussing the merits/demerits of Single-payer health care, that was just an example, I was speaking about how we have lost the ability to truly debate. Most of us can only sling slogans around, ie “Free Government shit never works.” I hate big government with a passion, and I fully believe that liberty and truly free markets do the most good for the most people, but Free Government Shit has helped millions of truly needy people. In a true debate we would speak to the costs and benefits of such programs and only then realize the costs are too high.
