School dress codes are SUPPOSED to make the students hideously self-conscious about how stupid they look.

Coping with arbitrary bloody damnfoolishness helps to provide both practice with the sorts of crap which authoritarians demand of their human cattle and proof of one’s tolerance for same. This is why employers like to see a job application bearing not only attestation to a high school diploma (rather than a G.E.D., which marks the applicant as “uppity”) but also marks of high academic performance and participation in organized extracurricular activities.

These are all good indicators that the guy filling out the forms is thoroughly broken-spirited, and will grovel as desired for his boss.

Yesterday afternoon, about 3PM, I heard two helicopters overhead. They were just hovering and circling. I said to Ms Freud — “The 4th Turning is upon us! Head for the hills!!”

After about 10 minutes I went outside to watch. Immediately, I smelled a foul odor. Something, somewhere, was burning. I walked about two blocks in the general direction of the smoke before turning back. The smoke actually stung my eyes and lungs …. not very much, mind you, but noticeable. I said to Ms Freud upon returning — “The Baltimore Neegrows have come to Scotch Plains!!”. I armed myself and her with a couple kitchen steak knives, then returned to preparing the meat loaf, and that was that.

This morning I do a search, “Are neegrows burning down Scotch Plains”.

Turns out the gas station we use (!!!) Luke Oil burned to the ground. They were the only gas station who allowed me to fill out YELLOW gas container with regular gas (for the generator). Yellow is for diesel, red is for gas … but they never gave a shit.

I am in great mourning today. I will now have to paint the yellow canister, red. They were ALWAYS the cheapest gas station around. Boo hoo! Boo fucking hoo!!!!!!

It also brought to my mind (really) what it must have been like in Kuwait when Saddam burned all those oil wells. Luke Oil is about 3 miles from the house … one small gas station … and the smell was nasty, and as I said, stung my eyes and lungs. I can’t even begin to imagine what Kuwait must have been like.

So long, my friend!!!

More new millionaires were made after the crash in 1929 than any other time in US history. The lofty rise in the market was received with the same “it will just keep rising” attitude…….until it didn’t.

Stucky,
Isn’t Lukoil a Russian firm. Now your helping the commies. First Hillary helping sell our precious uranium to Putin, now my dear Stucky patronizing a commie gas station. What has become of my world. I am so confused.
Bob.
