Ah, he could just move in legally, get married or not, and only work part-time.

They might even get more in money/benefits with that plan.

The real ass-screwing is for the guy that is married, has one kid and makes $35k a year.

If his employer doesn’t provide family health insurance, he has no choice but to pay full boat for his family on that policy.

Which equates to $7,000-$15,000 per year, after tax.

Could Pelosi or Boehner or McCain or Obama live on this shit?

How about the head of Bayer, or GSK, or the AMA, or CDC, think they could?

FUCK this country. It’s puritanical, do-gooder, laws. It’s help everyone, except fuck a few hard, tis okay, they probably deserve it.

Just like the unarmed men being murdered by gangs of cops, they deserve it to.

My heart cries for those that only want to be left alone to work, love their families and their gods.

Jobs, we need jobs.

And jobs are the last thing this country is ever going to get again.

Without brutality in our day-to-day, we Americans are never going to stop protecting, stopping and helping ourselves back into the third world.

This is a perfect example why the entire tax code needs to be scrapped or put back into its original purpose of funding the fucking specified purposes of government defined in Article 1 section 8.

Say what you want about Karl Denninger but he advocates elimination of direct payments, Snap cards etc. and replacement of our welfare system with a network of old fashioned soup kitchens and a philosophy of three hots and a cot to anyone who shows up at a designated location and maintains a civil attitude..

This may seem impossible to implement in this day and age, but why not? A way for society to provide a minimum means of survival to those who truly need it and a real incentive for each individual to provide for their own needs. Welfare as a way of life needs to end, and it will eventually, one way or another.

TE for the win. Jobs. We need jobs. A good job for all who need it is the best charity in the world. And GRA, great point. It needs to be shameful to grift.

Annual audits should be conducted to assure that anyone working and paying taxes must not suffer a lower standard of living than any able bodied person getting welfare. I like Govtrunamuk’s idea of just basic food and shelter to provide some of them a motivation to work. Starfcker: Equity in jobs is the 8th Plank of Communism; they MUST work but eating is iffy.

In the last month I saw two-yes two–Los Angeles “homeless” with cell phones. One was bumming on a city park bench gulping down a 40, carefree as a bird while jabbering somewhat mindlessly. Second one was deep in conversation leaning on his shopping cart while waiting outside–you guessed it–a free healthcare clinic. Your tax dollars at work.

The US does not need jobs – when people say that they are admitting they are reliant on the govt or a corp or some individual for their survival.

People need to go to work if they do not have a job. There are many ways to make a living, and a job is but one of them. My old man almost never had a job, but he always made a living – buy and sell, small businesses, hunt and trap, etc.

If folks wait around for someone or something else to create them a job, they are going to get mighty hungry. Plus, No one has any obligation to create jobs, and shitloads of incentives not to, especially if they have ever had thejoy and experience of employing anyone. Not to mention the govt has made it painful and nearly impossible to do so.

Folks seriously need to change there way of thinking. Jobs are not an option, and were an aberration at best.

Llpoh, you’re nuts on this. You are cut from a different cloth than an average person. I have tremendous respect for what you have been able to put together, we have been over this many times. But I honestly don’t get your hostility to average working people, people cabable and willing to do an honest days work for an honest days pay. They built this country.

No hostility towards anyone, Star.

But the concept of “jobs” does not compute. Who is going to supply the jobs? Who has the responsibility to do so? No one is the answer.. People need to take care of themselves, as no one else will. Waiting and hoping for a job will not work. Govt will NOT be able to provide jobs. Big corps do not want to, nor do small businesses.

The days of “jobs” are over. The days of welfare are numbered. People can either figure out how to survive in the new reality, or not.

Hoping for jobs is a fool’s errand.

I don’t think we can become a country of free agents. Most people will never develop the skill set to do that. Guys like you and I are magicians. It’s an aptitude that is rarer than you might think. You could drop me (or you) off anywhere on the face of the earth, and six months later, we’d have organized the place and be running everything. Most people can’t do that. Most people can’t be trained to do that.

My best sales guys can’t manage anything. My best managers can’t sell anything. You mentioned one time that you knew more about your industry than anyone one else in the industry. I don’t doubt that for a second. But I doubt you have a single person on your payroll that has that level of knowledge and ability. I know I don’t.

Big companies need to be broken up with sherman anti-trust. Small business would fill the void faster than you might think. You might not be able to buy as much made in china walmart crap. So what. Our problem is, the people we elect to be good stewards of our country have been traitors. it’ll catch up with them (fuck you, clinton)
