Why do I bother to work? It seems so many others of my gender have thrown in the towel and found a way to get by without putting in any effort. I started working at 11, full time in the summer mowing lawns and delivering newspapers. I started on the books, paying Social Security at 13 and have been doing so for 40 years. I think it is time for the government to pay me to fuck off. I’m tired and worn out from pulling the wagon and it feels like it keeps getting heavier and heavier. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t hold a gun to my head and steal half of my earnings to support the sloths that have figured out how to game the system. Oh well I may as well get back to work, someone has to pay the taxes to support this fantasy.
