Why Patriots Can Win

Via Think Patriot

We patriots can win because :

  • Government is largely fixed installations. Patton: “Fixed fortifications are monuments to the stupidity of man.”  If our government forces war upon us, it will learn that fixed installations are very vulnerable in any insurgency.  Buildings will burn down, electric grids will fail, government will look impotent from the first stage of insurgency.
  • Government is on the wrong side of the bet with human ingenuity. Even if all your employees were allowed to be ingenious by changing rules and regulations, wanted to be ingenious and were incented to be ingenious, there are a lot more of us than you and very many more of us are seriously annoyed. Ingenuity + moptivation –> rapid experiments and adaptation.  Those win high-dimensioned games.
  • We are acting with local knowledge.  That is a more-defensive posture.  Defense is much stronger than attack, and our recent wars say your supposed superiority in intelligence gathering and analysis doesn’t change the home-court advantage.  In fact, we can easily use that supposed superiority against you.

  • We control the infrastructure. We designed the systems within which we all live, we built the buildings and installed the equipment, we operate it and repair it. Those systems won’t work if we don’t think they should. We can make all of them fail in ways that your people won’t be able to quickly isolate and individuals can do it at low risk to themselves.  Again, the Status Quo will look impotent, and more impotent with every ‘natural’ failure that inevitably gets attributed to our sabotage.
  • We are in touch with far more of the non-government society than you are, so we have more resources and more options. We are the larger part of our society. We are the socially-cohesive communities, the extended families, the alumni associations, hunting clubs, volunteer fire departments, and on and on. We have more credibility than you do, and, as this crisis continues, we will increasingly speak with one voice on the political goal.
  • The loyalties of you in government will be far more mixed than ours.  Your security groups will have a higher proportion of patriots than vice versa, by a lot. Losers and the short-sighted will end up on your side, not ours. You will have a lot of failed operations because of information leakage, lost intelligence, false intelligence, bad plans, mis-understood orders, …
  • There is no shortage of weapons in any high-technology country. We will be able to support our political clout with arms if you force us to it. Please don’t, as we will all become so very poor together, and you will become hated. You do not want to be on the wrong side of a purge of the aristocracy and its minions.
  • Ultimately, this is a contest to convince un-committed people that the Status Quo is working vs a need for radical change.  You in government and the oligarchy are proven liars and incompetents.  We have a working model of society under Constitutional government that did very well for most of the first 100 years.  You can only continue to dominate via your ever-more obvious propaganda.  We only need to point out the obvious failures.  Reality is a great argument.

We can win without firing a shot by demonstrating how much we oppose you and how great the damage of a shooting insurgency. Tax revolt and outright sabotage of selected companies will show you how serious we are and how many of us will work to take down our system if you do not step aside and allow us to clean up the mess you have created.

There is no way to oppose this return to a working system of government and society without social and economic devastation.

We insist that our government return to Constitutional limits. Our government cannot resist effectively except by proving that they have escaped those limits and pushing people into our camp.

And lastly, the patriots can win because they will cheat if they want to. They will deflate footballs and do whatever it takes to win. So will the patriots when the time comes.

Greetings,

I would agree with the author minus the fact that castles, a fixed fortification, worked really well for about 500 years. The entire economy was carried on the backs of the peasants as the aristocracy produced nothing of value yet the peasants were unable to overcome the castle and the knights it protected.

The Luddites, too, were another group that should have been able to defeat something as simple as the automated factory yet their failure is recorded in the history books as well.

Finally, I can’t help but think about the static fortifications of the First World War. The State was able to kidnap men and feed them into those death mazes and do so for years.

If, or when a fight with Uncle Sugar takes place, none of us really have any idea as to how it will be waged.

This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it.

Just who are you going to fight. You willing to fire on local police . About ten years ago a buddy of mine in the national guard invited me for a visit. One thing I remember was the rows of ARs they had in storage. They also had all kinds of fighting equipment and were getting ready for another deployment to Iraq. They were experienced and knew how to kill.Would not want to fuck with national guard where I live.

I only hope I live long enough to see some badly butt hurt oligarchs, prolly won’t happen but I can dream.

Gorilla warfare has won out over organized armed forces many times throughout history, I have no reason to believe that Mericans would be any less successful as we have great talent among us…..don’t you agree. Billy alone would be a force to be dealt with and I am sure there are legions of ex-military who have tactical experience that militarized po-po and national guard only wish they had.

Greetings,

Napoleon once said that, “You must not fight too often with one enemy, or you will teach him all your art of war.”

We’ve spent the last 10 or so years teaching anyone that cares to learn exactly how we fight and what to expect in a fight. The entire world knows of our weapons systems and what they can and can not do. They also know exactly what action will elicit what response.

I was lucky in that in the late ’90’s as I had an opportunity to study chess under a former coach for the world chess champion Garry Kasparov as he had taken up residence in Phoenix. He constantly stressed to me the importance of an aggressive style of chess that forced my opponent to respond in a predictable manner. If your opponent follows or is forced to follow simple If/Then logic then he is easy to defeat.

Kasparov’s coach (I so wish I could remember his name) also stressed to me that I should not attack a piece that is annoying me but the piece that protects it – the piece that enables the annoying offender to remain where it is.

If you know that Uncle Sugar will respond to any fart in the wind with a ridiculous amount of force then fart everywhere and let Uncle Sugar wear himself and his equipment out. Also, infantry, a very difficult opponent to be sure, is protected by communications and supply. Both communications and supply are soft targets and, as Frederick the Great said “Without supplies, no army is brave.”

Now, we are lucky in that we are being given a front row seat as to how things will play out in the unlikely event that someone or some organization feels like taking over. If we are smart, we will not complain about it but study it – study it at length.

Why Patriots CAN’T Win:

•Government is largely guns. Big, big guns that have the very bad habit of coming attached to drones & helicopters and guided missiles and tanks and ships. And government L O V E S to use them, particularly on the defenseless. Catching my drift yet?

•Government is on the wrong side of the bet with human ingenuity? Take a walk through your local WalMart and look at what happens when Darwin’s theory starts to work in REVERSE. Believe you me, no matter how dumb the U.S. government’s actions may be, popular response will be even dumber.

•They are acting with local knowledge TOO! They have police depts spread throughout the country staffed by locals who are very familiar with their areas. Plus the invisible web of voluntary snitches (AKA your own insouciant neighbors on the lookout for ‘domestic terrorists’) that authorities can rely on to rat you out to them.

•They control the infrastructure. They can turn our lights off and not vice versa. They can tap my phone and not vice versa. They run the trains, they manage the freeways, the patrol the skies, they rule the seas. I don’t know about you but MY personal Air Force right now consists of a worn-out Frisbee.

There’s only ONE way for patriots to win; we must write a collective letter to Vladimir Putin asking him politely to please nuke the fook out of Washington DC. Literally. 200 West St NYC has got to go too. Sorry mom! It’s for the greater good.

Once the radiation settles down enough, we shall crawl out of our lairs and rebuild. And no more fooking trangenderism this time people!!!

@ Russia is strong.

All respect, but here it comes…

•Government is largely guns. Big, big guns that have the very bad habit of coming attached to drones & helicopters and guided missiles and tanks and ships. And government L O V E S to use them, particularly on the defenseless.

This is just the “The government has tanks, nukes, strategic bombers! How can you fight that?” argument warmed over.

1. We have bent the entire military might against a couple piss-ant countries a fraction of the size of the US for the last 15 years, and it has gotten us exactly where? Are we winning? The media says we’re “winning”, but I’m not seeing it… they are still there, their will unbroken. Same thing happened in Viet Nam – we were using weapons that the average Cong couldn’t possibly imagine, yet they beat us with sticks and rifles… they’re still there. We’re not.

2. There are 315 million Americans spread out over almost 4 million square miles. The military (Army) – if you count everyone from burger-flippers to gas pumpers – has about 1.5 +/- million guys. It’s much, much less when you count only combat arms. They literally cannot be everywhere. You only control the ground you stand on.

3. You’re arguing from the assumption that a conventional war will be fought. Tank on tank, plane on plane. That’s stupid. The Army has always excelled at fighting conventional war – here is the line and we have to push it that way – so why would we play to their strength? The Army sucks balls at unconventional, asymmetrical warfare. If you don’t have any tanks, why bother to fight them?

•Government is on the wrong side of the bet with human ingenuity? Take a walk through your local WalMart and look at what happens when Darwin’s theory starts to work in REVERSE. Believe you me, no matter how dumb the U.S. government’s actions may be, popular response will be even dumber.

1. You walk through a Walmart – inhabited solely by WalCreatures – then make the assumption that everyone is like that. That’s okay. I hope TPTB make the same dumb mistake. It would give us a huge advantage…

What do you think will happen if it kicks off? You think the local cops will still want to be Bad Actors when they come home and find their house burned to the ground? Their family missing? Or perhaps a Night Letter in their mailbox? 4G warfare isn’t about playing by the rules. It’s about winning.

If someone local happens to be a snitch, well, those kinds of folks tend to have “accidents” or just flat go missing…. or maybe they turn up in a condition that says “This is what happens to snitches”… something tells me folks won’t be lining up to snitch…

Again, you’re arguing from a position of conventional warfare. I don’t have any fighter aircraft or smart munitions in my garage, either. But why should I worry about fighting the aircraft when I can get to the guy who maintains the aircraft? Can’t get to him? He has a family, right? Putting everyone into a safe zone is logistically impossible – it’s too many people.

Since they’re using conventional means, they’ll try to deploy where the population is greatest for the most effect – the cities. Which means the countrysides will be contested. They might rule the day, but at night? Not so much…

While Blue Team might not have any problems with logistical support from guys like Putin, the problem is that guys like Putin don’t do anything from a newfound overwhelming sense of altruism. Meaning: He’s going to want compensation. It’s a deal with the devil…

Not sure why I got so many thumbs down when you would have to be out of your fucking mind if you thing we the citizens could defeat the army or even national guard. All they have to dois cut off the electricity ,food ,water and medicine then pull back and wait. In less then a month most would be begging the government for help. Most people are cowards and would never fight to begin with.. Billy you need to rethink your position.
