see applicants all the time like that , um they don’t get a job . when you look at the demographics of running a business you hire people that are representative of your CUSTOMERS . if you piss off your customers they go elsewhere and you cut hours and jobs . kinda like mcdonalds doing the black 365 ads . um they in a pretty serious decrease in sales . why ? pissed off their white customers lol and they don’t know why . I do and so do millions of former customers . don’t get me wrong if a city is mostly black or Hispanic um the employees should be also . but if mostly white well it works the same way .I think it was ann ryand that said you can ignore reality ,but you cant ignore the consequences of ignoring reality lol good lord if mcdonalds would do a white 365 ad spot their sales would go off the chart . people that are marginalized will not support the ones doing the marginalzation cant speelll friggen beer lol

I can’t think of a clearer indication of shallow, almost imperceptible thought. Also, the only way to imagine a sign of higher time preference (I want it, I want it now, I don’t think about the future at all) is for someone to intentionally jump off a cliff in order to feel like they’re flying.

Psychologist will tell you that some children will display negative behavior knowing they will get into trouble but they do it just to get attention. They crave the attention, even if it leads to some form of punishment.
I see those that get tattoos motivated by that same need. They do it for the attention and in their delusional minds convince themselves that the attention is admiration.

I have a different view of this. Tats are fine if they can be covered up by, say, wearin’ normal clothes. I have 5 and none of them are visible even if I wear a short sleeve shirt. I have an entire back piece which is Edvard Munch’s The Scream except that I replaced the background with Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I’ve always thought that those two painting belong together.
My best friend owns a tattoo shop in the upscale part of Scottsdale, AZ. Her work is amazing and her clients get to become a living canvas for art. That crap on that woman’s face is not art. Oh yeah, my friend wont do tattoos on anyone’s face or anything too retarded.
Of course Kunstler wouldn’t approve but I’m ok with it.

As for tattoos generally – my interpretation is that it’s about the only thing of quasi-property that can’t be readily stolen from someone, and they seem to be popular among people who are at constant risk of losing their belongings to theft, due to a combination of poverty, lifestyle, and often just plain stupidity.
With the exception of rock stars and certain athletes, you don’t see wealthy people getting tattoos, and you basically never see highly intelligent people getting them (even if they are a rock star or athlete).
Of course I’m probably over-thinking this.

95% of the times I see a tattoo when out in public I find it’s NOT a well-placed, discrete little job on the body of a well-toned, good-looking person but rather a very-badly placed, oversized billboard style hack job on the body of a morbidly obese human land whale. If not half a dozen. More is better seems to be the norm nowadays. In Amerika’s race to the bottom, the morons are now even starting to tat their faces and eyeballs too!
Normally I’d say that that makes you kinda unemployable for life, but who gives a shit anyway in a country that no longer has any decent jobs left to offer, right?
