All term limits would accomplish is to empower congressional staff.

That’s allright. Mother nature’s about to do us all a big favor. The scummiest generation is about primed for death panelling. Good riddance. Imagine how good life in these here united states might be with no john mccain, rupert murdoch, warren buffett, george will, charles krauthammer, bill clinton, george bush, al sharpton, mitch mcconnell, etc. Hasta la vista, assholes.

Why should it matter which treasonous corporate whore holds the seat, and for how long? Elections are term limits – if you don’t like your current corporate whore, vote for another one.

Our founders never intended us to become a nation run by professional politicians.

Term limits can correct this to some degree, but you then have to deal with the bureaucracies and bureaucrats that seem to have become an eternal political ruling system all of their own.

starfcker,

That’s like thinking killing off one Al Qaeda or ISIS leader will change the nature of the organization or put it out of business,

In reality, the new ones are the same as the old ones they replace.

Let’s see: The longer they stay in office the more ‘Washingtonian’ they get and the more out of touch with their constituents.

Also, the longer they stay in power, the more powerful they get within Congress.

Hmmm,,, what could go wrong??

Like Tom Woods says, should a country 3000 miles wide, with a population of well over 300 million be ruled by a single mid sized city in the Mid-Atlantic?

Term limits is fine but not nearly enough. SECESSION!!!!! is the obvious answer.

I ask people,Do you feel you are being represented? Everything i see and hear tells me that the folks in Washington live on another planet. The Regime seems more interested in other countries than our own. I have been pointing out the need for term limits and lessening the influence of lobbyist for years.
After the collapse.Maybe these psychopaths will be strung up and we can have some change!

DC is a criminal enterprise zone, the best connected and slimiest of these nare-do-wells get to stay for a very long time, sadly I don’t see this changing . It is rather like running the Crips and the Bloods out of your “Hood”, very difficult.

With the possible exception of Richard Shelby of Alabama (a scary but relatively straight forward guy, if you meet him you won’t forget him) the vermin on the poster are exactly why Donald Trump is surging. Take Mikulski….please. A vicious pseudo-Marxist Zionist enemy of the people if there ever was one. McCain? An obvious lunatic and probably a traitor as well. Reid and Hatch? The very definitions of political logrollers. I am going to void my stomach.

Term Limits would eliminate most of the career criminals and their influence on new elected legislators.

Remember Obamacare, where all of the Dem’s in CONgress voted for the bill without reading one page of the bill – they were intimidated by the Dem Party leaders not supporting their future if they voted NO.

No manure pile will compost properly unless it’s forked-over at frequent intervals.

May talk to my Mom about her running..at 90 years old, she’d fit right in. Just serve one term, another pension, health benefits and payola to us offspring.
