Soon, when all are unemployed, and they no longer receive unemployment ( thus no counted as unemployed ), we will have 0% unemployment!
@Dutch, so true, and already adding to the misinformation of our “headline” unemployment numbers.
What most people don’t know/account for is that you “earn” unemployment benefits.
There are current calendar year requirements, as well as most recent employment requirements.
In Michigan, you must work a minimum of 30 hours a week at minimum wage for 4 of the past 5 quarters (15 months).
With O’care decimating part time (and full time) employment, few if any part timers EVER see the 30 hour a week threshold for 12 of 15 months. Which means they don’t QUALIFY for unemployment, even when they lose their jobs.
Poof, not counted as unemployed.
Seems the deeper the BS is piled, the more our fellow citizens believe it at face value. My guess is they are just no longer able to see around/over the piles of crap their entire life and existence is now dependent on. Not able, or don’t want, one of the two or both.
