Interstellar, Gravity, Contact, etc.. space movies all suck because we have no frame of reference, we do not understand the mechanics of zero gravity or time travel.
I suppose that is the main flaw of science fiction, we sense it and soon we drop it for real literature which is based on the human experience.
The folks who said it sucked have not gotten to the point of that reality, they expect a science fiction flick to be like real life. It can’t be, anymore than soap operas can imitate a real community.
You know what is appealing about movies? They unfold like real life.
Somebody said they lived there life as an observer, always a microsecond behind the action. When you think about folks who say they shot someone before they willed it, it is possible our reptile brain is more in control than we give it credit for.

The government can release as much data as it likes, but it will have no effect on my understanding that criminals don’t care of guns are banned, that forced integration causes conflict, that attacking the male/female family unit destabilizes civilization, etc.
Grasping these understandings opens up a much bigger spectrum of topics to explore causing me to sometimes be overwhelmed about how much more complex those situations really are… but the “it’s all relative” mantra rings completely hollow. There *is* a foundation to those concepts and I now know it. People can deny those foundation principles… but reality will prove them wrong.
