NATION OF LAND WHALES

You just had to know that picture is from a K-Mart.

Via Goodbye America (in a photo)

Pass the fries and let’s have some Cheetos for dessert. Corporate processed toxic shit marketed as food to the ignorant masses with no self control mechanism has done wonders. Mega-corporations make billions poisoning you and then other Mega-corporations sell you drugs to “treat” the poisoning. They wouldn’t possibly stop selling the poison or curing the disease. That would drastically reduce profits.

Adult obesity now exceeds 30% of the population in 20 U.S. states. In 2014, the rates of obesity surpassed 35% in three states — Arkansas (35.9%), West Virginia (35.7%) and Mississippi (35.5%) — 22 states have rates above 30%, 45 states are above 25%, and every state is above 20%. Arkansas has the highest adult obesity rate at 36%, while Colorado has the lowest at 21%, according to an annual report, “The State of Obesity,” released by Trust for America’s Health, a Washington, D.C. health policy group, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to public health. The data show that 23 of 25 states with the highest rates of obesity are in the South and Midwest.

This is a dramatic shift from previous generations. In 1980, no state had a rate above 15%, and in 1991, no state had a rate above 20%. Today, more than 30% of adults, nearly 17% of 2- to 19-year-olds, are obese.

Suck it fat asses. Pennsylvania didn’t make the top ten.

This story is making me hungry.

Obesity rates correspond almost perfectly with importation of low IQ, welfare sucking minority immigrants. It’s clinton’s third way, shovel money to the bigs using the poor and non-productive as the transfer mechanism, in the nsme of compassion.

Every time I see an obese person n public -an ever frequent phenomena- I am always struck by the question “How can someone possibly let themselves get so fat?”.

I mean after all, didn’t they ever think something was in need of attention during the process of getting that way or do they not think anything is wrong with it?

I mean …. why?

When I was a kid (ca 1955) a fat person might have been 30 lbs over weight.

Now today, it’s not uncommon to see someone that’s so fat – they used to be in the freak shows when I was a kid. Had to pay a nickel to see’em.

“Check your BMI. Just takes a minute” ———– Iska Waran

No! Don’t do it folks. The BMI is total BULLSHIT.

——————————————————————

Doctor Calls Bullshit On The BMI

Three years after noted “Fat-O-Sphere” writer Kate Harding posted a slideshow illustrating how ridiculous the BMI standards are, the NY Times agrees: the body mass index is unreliable.

In our society, we’re so quick to call someone who appears to be fat “unhealthy.” But health is not a quality that can be judged or seen with the naked eye. There are thin people who smoke and don’t eat any vegetables. There are obese people — including Steven N. Blair, one of the nation’s leading experts on the health benefits of exercise — who jog every day. You can’t see genetic material, a decaying liver or gingivitis in a photograph.

The BMI — which is calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters, doesn’t differentiate between fat and muscle. Dr. Carl Lavie, a cardiologist at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, tells the Times that according to the BMI: “a six-foot, 250-pound man will be obese.” But! “If he were an N.F.L. lineman of 6-foot-3 weighing 280 pounds, he might be solid muscle with only 2 percent body fat.”

Basically, trying to judge the health of an individual using the BMI? It’s bullshit. To make matters worse, there’s what Dr. Lavie and colleagues have called “the obesity paradox.”

The paradox refers to the repeated finding that while overweight people are more prone to heart failure, patients with heart failure have lower mortality rates if they are obese. The reason for this paradox is far from clear, though Dr. Lavie suggested that one explanation could be that once people become ill, having more bodily “reserve” could be to their advantage.

In many cases, fat has benefits. But the chance that this science will stop folks from calling overweight people unhealthy? Slim.

I’m fat by any of today’s standards, but I’m healthy as a horse, according to all the friggen tests I’ve gone through in the past year.

Stress test-Good
Cholesterol- 180
Heart MRI- Good
Arterial MRI-Good
Blood Pressure- Usually around 120 over 70
Breathing test- Good
Lung X-ray-Clear

The doctor was so pissed. Here he had a 59 year old guy who has smoked cigarette for 40 years, is 6’3″ and weighs 290 lbs and he couldn’t find any “dread disease’ so that he could make money off of me. How is he going to pay off the cottage in Martha’s Vineyard with results like this?

In desperation, he said that even though my cholesterol was good, I should take Crestor to prevent future circulation problems and potential heart attacks. I told him not to worry his sweet little head over it, I’ll be fine. Screw everybody. I’m fat and happy.

Besides, my extra weight is a form of prepping. It’s my mobile emergency energy supply.

Greetings,

I, for one, am of the opinion that the fatties should not be allowed to vote as they’ll just vote themselves more Snap & healthcare. A person that has no control over themselves has no business deciding how the country should be run.

As far as the size XXXXXL clothes, I wear 32 pants and it is difficult to get them. The stores don’t stock very many. Now the 40+’s … lots of those.

I just did the BMI calculator for kicks, what crap. BMI of 26, so I am OVERWEIGHT. I have the same waist size and only weigh 5 pounds more than I did 35 years ago. I’m 6’0, 192 pounds (FATTY!!). If they’re considering me overweight, the stats are total bullshit, too

I work with some people who don’t make much more than minimum wage, but manage to eat fruit pies and pastries for breakfast and a fast food meal for lunch every single workday. They alternate a few restaurants all serving the same trash and shovel this stuff into their mouth by the bagful and wash it down with soda. Even if people are not obese they are certainly “soft,” meaning they couldn’t run a mile or lift their own body weight. Most Americans probably could not tell you the last time they ran, and no, up the stairs does not count.

Here in the U.S. we have the perfect recipe for obesity: (1) High Fructose corn syrup is in virtually every food product, (2) Use of Aspartame in so-called “diet” drinks. It took making Donald Rumsfeld CEO of Searle before the FDA would approve it for Human consumption, and that was the 3rd try (I think), (3) Fast food heavy in carbs with empty, non-nutritious calories.
Disclaimer: I ate some McFood today because I was forced to and my stomach is rejecting it right about now.

No way, I refuse to be one of these land whales. You get one go around on this spinning marble and I plan on doing so without being an obese turd. As a matter of fact, I think I’ll go down to the beach and parade around in a bathing suit for a bit.

See ya!

Lysander is 6 foot 3. Stucky I think is about 8 feet tall. Both are roughly the same age and are mammoth men. Will they both be at the TBP booze fest in October? I would pay to see them wrestle or duke it out. I would make the trip to see them in battle. I’d officiate, as the little guy.

Yeah, all the fault of big business. BS. Eat less, how simple is that. Seemingly sensible people, who consider themselves intelligent, spouting crap like it it my metabolism, some other condition, I eat very little, it is the additives or what ever, all to avoid confronting the truth. Food seems to give rise to some serious mental games.

I might pay a nickel to see woman with no tats. Two bits to see a teenage girl who doesn’t have one or two kids.

Does anybody recall the old fashioned boobs, the kind that don’t look like shiny candied apples? I think those went the way of the dodo bird.

In our 20 – bed Medical Assessment Unit today, 10 of the clients were recorded as Morbidly Obese (taken as being more than 100lb over “normal weight, or a BMI of >35). All have obesity-associated problems (Obstructive sleep apnoeia, peripheral vascular disease, chronic renal disease, type II diabetes, varying degrees of ischaemic heart disease), and all are in with respiratory problems (Pneumona – ’cause they cannot breathe and cough efficiently – leading to colonisation).

Every single one has been in the unit many, many times in the past, and they are all getting larger, not smaller , on each admission . . . . .

Foodaholics?

Didn’t Paul teach that if a man doesn’t work, neither should he eat? (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

Hmm, maybe that’s just one of the many logical progressions of the nanny state. It’s counter to God’s and natural law.

Need proof?
