I don’t know jackshit about Ms. Gabbard. But, based solely on the video below, I’d give her my serious attention. Take the time to watch it. This is one of the best, most logical, completely level-headed Congresscritters I’ve heard in a very long time.

Tulsi Gabbard
Democrat from Hawaii, member of the Armed Services Committee, Iraq War Veteran and Major in the Hawaii National Guard is telling truth to power. In no uncertain terms it points out a fatal flaw in Hilary’s Syrian plan and US involvement as a repeat of the disaster in Libya 101 and to repeat the massacring of Christians and other minority groups.
She points out that involvement in Syria is illegal and supplies weapons to the terrorist enemies of the US and the rest of the world. This US Army Major is on top of her game and shows bravery and determination that every US Congressional representative should acknowledge and bears the question of their honesty, loyalty and sworn oath to protect the citizens of the US.
With President Putin leading the war on terror that the US not only refuses to do but shows all the traits of treason and tyranny in their actions and lack of actions around not only the Middle East but the world as well. What are they hiding under the veil of secrecy from the American people? How will the American people ever be able to trust government being loyal to its people when it demonstrates just the opposite? What is the government hiding from the public in co-operation of Main Street media spin?
Every politician running for office must be vetted on these issues and sworn to the American people not a hidden power of secrecy or loyalty to any other nation or third party before the rights to know what is being done in our name.
This brings in the words of JFK “The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.

Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.

I saw another video of hers with focus on our Syria stupidity. Smart lady. I guess more of a JFK type of Democrat, as opposed to the Leftist trash we mostly have now.

Watch this exchange at the recent Senate Hearings on US strategy in Syria between Senator Lindsey Graham, Defense Secretary Carter and Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Durnford. Graham grills the other two on US strategy in Syria and gets the following answers – we don’t know, perhaps, I don’t know, maybe, don’t know, could be, who knows.
Carter and Durnford have no idea whether their latest effort will pay off or what the consequences will be: they haven’t a clue. Graham abuses them but has no answers himself. Which, come to think of it, is a little strange given his propensity for tough-guy talk: To Putin: “If you think you’re gonna muscle your way around Europe, forget it.” To China: “you’re gonna have a contest.” To Iran: “We’re gonna sink your navy and we’re gonna shoot your air force down.” Perhaps even he is capable of recognizing a dead end when his nose is pressed hard against it.
But all there agree that Something Must be Done. And that Something turns out to be More of the Same but slightly different.
There isn’t the slightest consideration that what they did before has completely failed and that it might be time to re-think all their assumptions.
The video should be watched in full especially to see the stupidly hopeless expressions on the faces of all concerned.
This will stand as one of the moments when the hyperpower of yore is revealed to be running on empty. These people all know, at some level, that it’s empty but they don’t know what to do except keep going.
