In denouncing Republicans as “scared of widows and orphans,” and castigating those who prefer Christian refugees to Muslims coming to America, Barack Obama has come off as petulant and unpresidential.
Clearly, he is upset. And with good reason.
He grossly, transparently underestimated the ability of ISIS, the “JV” team, to strike outside the caliphate into the heart of the West, and has egg all over his face. More critically, the liberal world order he has been preaching and predicting is receding before our eyes.
Suddenly, his rhetoric is discordantly out of touch with reality. And, for his time on the global stage, the phrase “failed president” comes to mind.
What happened in Paris, said President Obama, “was an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share.”
And just what might those “universal values” be?
At a soccer game between Turkey and Greece in Istanbul, Turks booed during the moment of silence for the Paris dead and chanted “Allahu Akbar.” Among 1.6 billion Muslims, hundreds of millions do not share our values regarding women’s rights, abortion, homosexuality, free speech, or the equality of all religious faiths.
Set aside the fanatics of ISIS. Does Saudi Arabia share Obama’s views and values regarding sexual freedom and the equality of Christianity, Judaism and Islam? Is anything like the First Amendment operative across the Sunni or Shiite world, or in China?
In their belief in the innate superiority of their Islamic faith and the culture and civilization it created, Muslims have more in common with our confident Christian ancestors who conquered them than with gauzy global egalitarians like Barack Obama.
“Liberté, egalité, fraternité” the values of secular France, are no more shared by the Islamic world than is France’s affection for Charlie Hebdo.
Across both Europe and the United States, the lurch away from liberalism, on immigration, borders and security, fairly astonishes.
But again, understandably so.
Many of the Muslim immigrants in Britain, France and Germany have never assimilated. Within these countries are huge enclaves of the alienated and their militant offspring.
Consider the Belgium capital of Brussels. Belgium’s home affairs minister Jan Jambon said his government does not “have control of the situation in Molenbeek.”
Brice De Ruyver, a security adviser to a former Belgian prime minister says, “We don’t officially have no-go zones in Brussels, but in reality, there are, and they are in Molenbeek.”
According to The Wall Street Journal, after the Paris attacks, “French security forces …
conducted hundreds of antiterror raids and placed more than 100 suspects under arrest. … France has some 11,500 names on government watch lists.”
How many of those 11,500 are of Arab descent or the Muslim faith?
The nations of the EU are beginning to look again at their borders, and who is crossing them, who is coming in, and who is already there.
And the world is reawakening to truths long suppressed. Race and religion matter. To some they are life-and-death matters. Not all creeds, cultures and tribes are equally or easily assimilated into a Western nation. And First World nations have a right to preserve their own unique identity and character.
When Obama says that to prefer Christian to Muslim refugees is “un-American,” he is saying that all the U.S. immigration laws enacted before 1965 were un-American. And, so, too, were presidents like Calvin Coolidge who signed laws that virtually restricted immigration to Europeans.
Barack Obama may be our president, but who is this man of the left to dictate to us what is “un-American”?
Were presidents Harry Truman and Woodrow Wilson, who called ours a “Christian nation,” un-American? Did the Supreme Court uphold our “universal values” with Roe v. Wade in 1973 and the Obergefell decision on same-sex marriage last June?
The race issue, too, has returned to divide us.
Half a century after Selma bridge, we have “Black Lives Matter!” on college campuses claiming that universities like Missouri, Princeton, Yale and Dartmouth are riddled with institutional racism.
Attention must be paid, and reparations made, by white America. And a new generation of academic appeasers advances to grovel and ask how the university might make amends.
In Europe, tribalism and nationalism are on the march. Peoples and nations wish to preserve who they are. Some have begun to establish checkpoints and ignore the Schengen Agreement mandating open borders. Eastern Europeans have had all the diversity they can stand.
With Syrian passports missing, with ISIS besieged in its Syria-Iraq laager and urging suicide attacks in New York and Washington, we may be witness to more terrorist massacres and murders in the States.
The time may be at hand for a moratorium on all immigration, and a rewriting of the immigration laws to reflect the views and values of Middle Americans, rather than those of a morally arrogant multicultural elite.
Obamaworld is gone. We live again in an us-versus-them country in an us-versus-them world. And we shall likely never know another.
The world is awakening to truths long suppressed. Yeah. It really is. The things that dominate our discourse today are going to vanish as if they never existed. Obama will be gone in a year. It’s morning in America, once again

I just got done with my weekly JW bible study. Today we studied the 144,000 in heaven … who they are, and how they got in. I was told that I have NO CHANCE of being one of the 144k … that my fate, if I convert, is an eternity on EARTH, not in heaven. I thought this was total horseshit and told Paul (the JW guy) exactly that, and we had a little shitfest. I voted him down. I don’t know why he keeps showing up when he knows I think JW doctrine is fuckin bizarre. I think he comes for my homemade pastries. Today it was chewy very fudgey brownies with hazelnuts.

Stucky- I watched a travel show about Austria a couple nights ago and I am wondering why I don’t move there. The pastries and cakes looked like heaven and I’m sure the coffee is beyond fantastic. I don’t promote the consumption of sugar generally but “when in Rome”.

I actually listened to his state of the union. “Our unemployment rate is now lower than it was before the financial crisis. ” This is just a blatant lie. If it wasnt a lie then the employment population ratio would be going up, and it would most certainly be higher than it was in 2007. Well, its not, not even close. The guy is worse than a blatant liar, he uses manipulated statistics (the bogus unemployment rate) to make claims that are in fact completely false. His telepromted speeches are full of that manipulative garbage.
What is hardest to accept is that when he claimed he would fundamentally change this country 8 years ago, most of us didn’t believe he would be able to do so. We believed that saner minds would stop him, interfere with his administration’s attack on, and blatant disregard for, the principles upon which our country was supposedly founded and based on the Rule of Law. Most of the people I associate with scoffed at his obvious attempts to turn everything into a question of race and believed that the tide would soon turn.
And here we are, 7 years later, horrified at the changes we see in both the socioeconomic condition of our country and the state of our national reputation in the so-called free world. It may not have been all his doing; without a doubt Dennis Miller got it right Strfcker, he just isn’t that smart. But the people whose water he is carrying have managed to transform many of our institutions in fundamental ways.
The end of Obamaworld can’t come soon enough, but I fear it is much too late to undo much of the damage.

A Background to Bilderberg
Sunday, June 8, 2008, marked the last day of this year’s annual Bilderberg meeting, which took place in Chantilly, Virginia. The American Friends of Bilderberg, an American Bilderberg front group, which organizes the American participant list for the annual Bilderberg conference, issued a rare press release this year. It stated that, “The Conference will deal mainly with a nuclear free world, cyber terrorism, Africa, Russia, finance, protectionism, US-EU relations, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Islam and Iran. The Bilderberg Steering Committee, made up of around 30 people, (with no official list available), “decided that it would invite 100 of the most powerful people in Europe and North America every year to meet behind closed doors at a different five-star resort. The group stresses secrecy: What’s said at a Bilderberg conference stays at a Bilderberg conference.”2
Usually, the Bilderberg Conference is held in Europe for three years in a row, with the fourth year holding a meeting in North America. However, the previous North American conference was held in 2006 in Ottawa. So why did they break tradition to hold the conference in North America this year? Speculation abounds around a discussion of a possible attack on Iran, the American-centered global financial crisis, as well as the current US Presidential elections.

Recently, there has been much discussion about Barack Obama having possibly attended the recent Bilderberg conference in Virginia. This speculation arose when Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton sneaked off for a secretive meeting while in Virginia. As the AP reported, “Reporters traveling with Obama sensed something might be happening between the pair when they arrived at Dulles International Airport after an event in Northern Virginia and Obama was not aboard the airplane. The press that had been traveling with Obama were not made aware of the secretive meeting until the plane that they assumed Obama would be present on was moving down the runway, prompting many angry questions from the press towards Obama’s spokesman, Robert Gibbs. One reported asked Gibbs, “Why were we not told about this meeting until we were on the plane, the doors were shut and the plane was about to taxi to take off?” to which he responded, “Senator Obama had a desire to do some meetings, others had a desire to meet with him tonight in a private way and that is what we are doing.” This preceded another question, “Is there more than one meeting, is there more than one person with whom he is meeting?” Gibbs simply replied, “I am not going to get into all the details of the meeting.” He again later repeated that, “There was a desire to do some meetings tonight, he was interested in doing them, others were interested in doing them, and to do them in a way that was private.”8
On Friday, June 6, it was reported that Bilderberg tracker, Jim Tucker, “called Obama’s office today to ask if he had attended Bilderberg. A campaign spokeswoman refused to discuss the matter but would not deny that Obama had attended Bilderberg.”

Obamacare Teetering….
United Health has announced they might be leaving the Obamacare insurance market; it seems that what I and others have said is happening…
That is, the people coming into the exchange aren’t paying enough (even though the rates are exorbitant) and they’re sicker.
It gets better; for those with the cheaper plans it’s basically no insurance at all due to the deductibles.
So what we have here is (1) a tax, that (2) doesn’t cover the cost of the alleged “benefits” to be doled out.
This means that (1) the tax will rise (a lot) and (2) the “benefits” will disappear.
Admin- I admit I took great pleasure in reading yesterday that Humana and another large insurer have put TPTB on notice that they will only play ball for so long in negative territory. They say they are not only not making the large profits, they are at best hoping to “break even” in 2016.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven, and yes the system will be gutted and healthcare will be limited to those with wealth.
Healthcare will be nonexistent for most of us. Time to get as healthy as you can and stay that way!
