Gee who could have predicted this 15 years ago? Kooks, the whole lot of em, all kooks and conspiracy theorists.

Icon, this was predicted longer than 15 years ago.

“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths…”

James Madison, Federalist No. 10

America is a Constitutional republic versus a democracy.

I was thinking about this just today.

From 2003-2008 we lived in eastern Europe and traveled as much as we could afford. As did everyone else we knew.

At that time you could take the overnight train from Moscow to Kiev, the party train. Kiev was known to be a real gem of a place to visit. Now half of Ukraine is destroyed, the economy in tatters, the border closed, the train cancelled, and all Russia/Ukraine flights halted.

We spent two months in Greece in 2007, it was absolutely booming. Wonderful fabulous country, everything you would ever want. Now the trains have been defunded and cancelled, the economy shattered, thousands of businesses shuttered, services closed, and the people pauperized.

In 2006 good friend took her honeymoon in Jordan, Syria, and Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt. Now here a few years later Jordan is full of refugee camps, Syria is rubble, and Sharm el-Sheikh is deserted and practically a no-fly zone.

The destruction that’s been wrought in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis is so big and so wide and so tall as to be almost incomprehensible. So much loss. It didn’t have to be this way, these are not accidents of history. This destruction has been purely intentional and utterly evil.

I often read people on the internet questioning, waiting for the collapse. How can they not see – we are living it – now.

Yeah Stan, if it weren’t for USA Eastern Europe would be paradise today.

Do you speak from experience Mr. Cliff? Because I DO.

Stanley….I appreciated your comment; it is easy not to be aware in the cohesive global sense, as we preoccupied with our own lives in the today and with the current sound bites of a specific country.

Gentlemen,

I was just looking at before/after pictures/scenes of Syria earlier.

Just how many countries are flying in and bombing now? USA,
Russia, France, Turkey, and Israel. What will be left of that ancient
site? People’s homes and lands utterly destroyed, and why?
Assad must go!! Who says? That vile document by PNAC said so.
http://www.oldamericancentury.org/pnac.htm (sorry, just type in PNAC)
The “order out of chaos” boys.

@Stanley,
For those not noticing (you are) the USA/FUSA is being systematically
destroyed. Our economy is ruined. O sends millions/billions to one
and all…but citizens here are suffering. High financial crimes = ignored.
Military-Police State forming up. Spying. Of course so many jobs sent
to China, for one, and now Ford is finished here. Race baiting and PC
to where one is afraid to speak. MENA destruction, murder, funding
terrorists…and now Europe will steadily go down. The latest “heads up”
are the unfunded pensions and SS, and all the rest of the “programs” =
have no money. We have been looted, and will continue to be looted.
Our savings are next.

TPTB can’t have any “super powers” around to say NO! to globalism.

@Overthecliff…Eastern Europe has never recovered, eg Ukraine, it wasn’t
so great before, true…but now? And that was USA, Victoria Nuland (assistant
sec. state for Euro affairs)…V. Nudelman…married to co-author of PNAC,
Robert Kagen. She denies it was a coup she orchestrated/led but rather…
Democracy! While it hurts to know it, America isn’t being “run” by any
Americans. Our “leaders” will follow orders or they will be out. Consider
Paul Ryan, the “changeling.” It is a long story.

Thanks

McCain is either our deep state secretary of state or our deep state president. Everywhere he goes destruction is sure to follow. Therefore, he must be responsible in some way for this spread of democracy, even if it is only as a fucking jinx.

McCain is mostly a useful idiot. The deep state leader is more likely Cheney or Bush I.

You sounded great Suzanna. You put some balls behind it. Always a good move on TBP. We love the smell of testosterone in the morning.

Insomnia again. I thought I could sleep earlier, but no. When I look at the before and after pictures of what the elite has wrought, I think of the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” and it’s portrayal of nice, serene Bedford Falls. Then the movie shows the opposite in the carnal, violent Pottersville.

Pottersville is where we are today in Murika! and sinking morally lower as quickly as TPTB know how. Everything is still standing, though, and people buzz around in shiny cars going about their business and it seems impossible that the kind of damage you see in those photos from Damascus and the other places could happen here.

But it will. Not everywhere, but in enough places to make people realize that they are not coming back from this. There will be no Marshall Plan to rebuild, no D-Day to save us, no help from any quarter at home or abroad. Plan accordingly.

McCain: Obama Fighting Islamic State with ‘Incrementalism,’ ‘Reminiscent of Vietnam’
http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/12/01/mccain-obama-fighting-islamic-state-with-incrementalism-reminiscent-of-vietnam/

“They have no strategy as far as Syria is concerned. You have now seen the Saudis involved in Yemen. You have seen a real change in their behavior. If we told them that we would eliminate both Bashar al Assad and ISIS, I think you could put together a coalition. You are not going to defeat them from the air. You are going to have to have people on the ground and I believe you could assemble that coalition with the United States playing a supporting role because they realize that ISIS and Bashar al Assad are a direct threat to them.” John McStain

People on the ground he says..The siege of Leningrad redux…any volunteers?

The Dreaded GoPro Tanks
By Richard Fernandez November 3, 2014
https://pjmedia.com/richardfernandez/2014/11/03/the-dreaded-gopro-tanks/

When the history of the Syrian civil war is written, future historians and documentary producers will doubtless be indebted to the fearsome Syrian GoPro equipped tank. For those who don’t know, the GoPro isn’t a missile but the hit consumer action camera that some enterprising person has mounted on Russian-built tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. It allows the viewer to “ride” along on the outside of the tank with actual combatants. and record the POV, almost like a shooter game, of real, live, historical action.

This video, for example, makes it possible to follow the actions of a platoon of tanks in Jobar, Syria, possibly in early 2014. Jobar is a town on the outskirts of Damascus, and a battlefield of the civil war. It was also the site of a reported chemical warfare attack by Assad forces.

@ Flash…Thanks for that video. I just subbed to the channel. I had no idea they were putting friggen cameras on their tanks. Amazing.

I guess the revolution WILL be televised.
