yeah, I would have to say that he did just exactly what Paul Simon would have done if he could have sung like that. It’s just about spot on.

That is cool stuff…cool like when Johnny Cash did Nine Inch Nails ‘Hurt’, or Marilyn Manson did Eurythmics ‘Sweet Dreams’. It’s always great (and rare) when a song remake adds something new.

What a powerful voice! Incredible version/interpretation of the original. Keeper.

Now that brought back a few memories – not all good.
Mom – a reasonably well off Catholic widow with kids whose very existence annoyed her – decided to go back to the local Catholic liberal arts college where she had originally gotten her Philosophy degree back in the day from the nuns.
Having turned into a co-ed school in bum-fuck nowhere rust-belt rural Michigan she – the ever suffering Silent – encountered the Boomers of the late 60’s – early 70’s – and away she went. And that Simon and Garfunkel album was the sound track of those years.
I still believe that the ‘Silents” have a lot of explaining to do – we have a government run a muck because a generation of psychopathic “Greatists” mentored and incubated a generation of psychopathic Boomers.
But still – I enjoyed his rendition – thank you.

Haunting. Makes me consider the tragedy of the sheeple and the shitstorm a coming. But, also, the voices here on TBP howling truth at the moon within the darkness now descending upon the earth.
To all lovers of truth and liberty everywhere:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Son of a bitch. I’d just gotten this damn song out of my head from the last time it was posted…..

Is cool, Iska. Some buttheads are like Holden Caulfield and don’t want to see anyone go to waste. In fact, it keeps them awake at night. Most will never understand. It just is what it is. People are stupid. Sentimental stupidity is ridiculous. Kind of like Don Quixote chasing after windmills.

Uncocked, you remind me of somebody who used to post here.
Wow. That’s very nice. Can’t believe over 6k people on youtube hit ‘dislike’.
They liked this one lot better.
